I can’t think of a better way to describe the princess royal. Chris and Claire are the best. They’re kind, welcoming and great people. The pub itself is warm and cozy situated just outside of Taunton high street so not much road noise and they have so many bands play on a Saturday night! Their Sunday night quiz is brilliant. I can’t think of a better place to spend my evenings!
Nice and clean coffee shop. Coffee, tea and cakes delicious. Service by young lad was good but when I paid he forgot to give me a receipt. I asked another man working behind the counter for my receipt but he was rude and bad tempered and snapped at me that I had to wait until he finished serving someone else.
Normally get delivery and even recently they have been messing up my orders, went in to collect today all the staff were at the back of the kitchen and blanked me and walked off out the back door. I love Papa Johns but probably won’t be using the Taunton store anytime soon.
Did not deliver food. Told me that driver was on his way but food didn’t appear. We live a few minutes drive and they would not accept that if food actually was on its way it would have got to the destination. Really poor service.
The service of the restaurant staff . Fast service and very polite. 1 member of staff went above the other staff. Charle Wright. Was running around serving nearly all the table. While 4 member of staff were behind the counter. THAT LADY NEEDS A MEDAL. Great food. Sunday roast is the best.
Disappointing. I chose jacket potato with prawns; the prawns were OK but the potato was inedible. It was a late lunch (we arrived at 2.00 pm) but the thought is that if jackets are still being offered then the time they are bought is irrelevant.
The very friendly male assistant gave me a refund but that's neither here nor there.
As my previous reviews for meals elsewhere will testify I am not a serial complainer.....
As a frequent shopper due to the wife we have experienced the shop when it's quiet and peak times.
We love the clothes section of the shop which has child's clothes/school uniform, women's and men's clothes. There is a good variety so if looking for something quick then it's a good place to go.
The daughter loves the toy isle with many toys of offer the price isn't bad at all.
We love the sushi counter and sometimes watch it be freshly made. It's always good quality and absolutely love the salmon.
It's our go to shop due to the variety of food on offer.
Lots of parking with disabled parking out front and a area specifically for disabled parking. There is parent and child parking near the front of the store with lots of additional parking.
The fuel station is card only and is great for the quick little top up after a shop.
There is a McDonald's inside the store, toilets, currency exchange, ID photo booth and parcel returns with a cigarette counter.
Lots to offer in the store and the staff are normally nice. The tills work well normally though find it can sometimes take a bit of time for age verification to be complete if it's a peak time.
I think the chef needs to go back to catering college to learn how to make a fish pie. It was terrible, lumpy boiled potatoes on top of a couple of prawns and some salty salmon at a cost of £18.79!
I can’t fault the waitresses who were lovely.
Given the location, parking is completely inadequate. A shame as Costa is normally a go too when on the road. Given parking is not provided for larger vehicles I am not sure how customers are supposed to visit if their vehicle will not fit in the spaces provided. Its Left a bitter experience at which point I'll stick to a well known alternative who do provide parking for their customers.
Sea Bass Fish and Chips is a delightful spot for anyone looking to enjoy traditional British fish and chips. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is diverse, offering not only fish and chips but also burgers, pies, and a variety of other dishes.
I tried the Southern Fried Chicken alongside cheese chips, and it was a delicious alternative for those who want something different. The staff at Sea Bass Fish and Chips are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant customer service experience. The overall quality of the food and service makes it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal.
Saturday night order , promise a delivery time of 55min but always late , 1 HR 30 is more realistic. But the standard of food is very good always let down by the nans though like most takeaways.
Lovely enough but music was RIDICULOUSLY loud. Can't hear yourself think or talk to each other without shouting. Plays modern rubbish too. Tried moving to different spots in there but speakers everywhere. No quieter spots anywhere.
