Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Food very fresh, clean tables and excellent staff. Lovely surprise.

Costa at musgrove is just like a big hug before work, those first few sips are just heaven! Coffee is perfect, staff are literally the best, friendly, chatty, though always busy. They all know their products very well too. Can't be easy working in a coffee shop at the hospital, apart from being very busy, the customers are at the hospital, and it's never good being at a hospital so the staff are so good at reading people and customers always leave with a little smile :)

Just two of us ordering 2 drinks … no one else in cafe … took soooo long. Dirty work surfaces really put me off. Miserable staff. Really poor Costa.

Was a lot cheaper than I was expecting but still expensive for a coffee ☕ food was fresh and tasty staff were friendly and helpful which was very handy been walking wounded having quick bite to eat and a nice coffee before heading home

I was visiting my very sick father today 27-09-2023 and decided to get a cup of tea with my sister The young man (boy) serving us was so rude to my sister he clearly did not understand the meaning of please and thank you. my sister added please to every request and thank you at the end of our order. This very rude person was unable to even respond with words that were understandable. He took the money and just shoved the change in her direction no smile no thank you or anything I have never met anyone in a customer service so rude in all my days Hell will freeze over before I would step foot back in this place

Staff here are quick, efficient and nice. The vegan ham and cheese is great.

Went here after hospital appointment and met up with old school friend ,the staff were lovely, didn't mind us just having drinks and sitting there for ages ,also good choice of vegan sandwiches, be good if you could do gluten free as well ,great choice of non dairy milk options, the man working there today was great ,he even took a photo of me and my friend on my phone when we asked him ,which he was happy to do

Great place to eat and drink whilst visiting family in hospital etc.and well worth a visit and easy to find to as Costa is situated on the ground floor near a variety of entrances and exits.

Picked up a too good to go bag from here today. Very happy with the products and very good value for money.

Was a busy day and it was really humid in there the poor staff were ran off their feet and horrible customers not admitting when they're wrong and then walking away angrily making the Batista's feel incapable when they offered them so etching different. Air con would be nice for them or even some fans. Although we had to wait awhile because the young lad accidently knocked my drink off the side (accidents happen) and then they forgot about my mum's drink, I just asked we were waiting for something else and they made it straight away. No need for rude customers, they're working as fast as they can. Be kind. Also, complaints about reusable cups. They have recycling bins for lids and cups to be recycled. This is a hospital where people have appointments so it's easier for them to have a take away cup when they need to shoot to their appointment.

Staff were lovely. The seating is quite uncomfortable - hard seats and it wasn't especially clean. It was disappointing to be served in disposable cups - not very eco friendly at all.

Who doesn't love a good Costa treat or two...

Very poor customer service compared to other costas. Staff very unhelpful and any issues with the app or mistakes the staff wash their hands of the problem and shrug their shoulders. As staff working at the hospital it comes across as it doesn’t matter cause we will put up with it. Will no longer be spending my hard earned wages here.

I was today in Costa order black americano with extra shot off coffe and half cup of water she made wrong coffe owful.wery yaung staff without experience.

Coffee and cake what's not to like

Lovely coffee and pastry sat with my Dad after a hosp appt. It needs to be bigger really as it gets very busy and tables are a little packed in. Did find it a bit of a pain to negotiate coming out of the seating area as I'm a wheelchair user. Although relatively near the large exit, I still had to ask 3 tables to move. But really enjoyed the food and drink, would defo recommend.

Lovely friendly atmosphere to meet up for coffee

The issue that I have experienced was: On 25/04/2019 I visited the hospital with family members to see my grandmother who was very poorly. My Dad and I visited the cafe to have some light refreshment, I ordered a piece of Carrot cake and hot chocolate but fortunately before I even had any of the cake I noticed there was a piece of green mould on it. I returned this to a waitress and said that i would not like another piece of cake. She said she would organise a refund once the manager was off the phone. The manager was in a very small office on the phone for ages and I asked the waitress several times to chase this up. I walked over to the office several times myself, and the waitress also went over to the office, and even when the manager came off the phone he did not come out to deal with the issue. In the end I was given a refund but not without it becoming a real hassle. Payment of £9.25 was taken at 13:18, refund given by 'Charlie' at 13:38. 20 minutes might not seem long but in a hospital it is.... I do not blame the waitress but the situation is very poor and completely without thought. Whilst my Gran was slowly dying upstairs I was waiting on your member of staff to come out of the office to supply a refund. Firstly no respectable eating establishment should be serving food that is out of date or mouldy, and secondly it did seem that myself and the waitress trying to deal with the situation were ignored. No-one goes to a hospital out of choice to visit someone - just really badly handled. maybe those who are coming to the cafe are in a precarious/emotional state. Payment of £9.25 was taken at 13:18, refund given at 13:38. 20 minutes might not seem long but in a hospital it is.... This was unnecessary upset that could easily have been avoided. In summary: rudeness of the manager who stayed in his office, the fact that mouldy cake was displayed and that there should be a more timely refund system.

Busy due to location, staff helpful and friendly

Helpful friendly staff and the usual great coffee, chocolate and scrummy cakes. This is not a large area and at popular times the queue can be quite long. Easy access for wheelchairs, however within the seating area manoeuvrability can be tight.

No one would like be at the hospital just for coffee I believe so... but the kind of the persons that work there makes to you fell a little bit better... quality off coffee excellent...

Rediculous charging to eat in when no outdoor seating... I found the coffee strong paid extra as I was told a new coffee and much nicer...when your with anyone disabled a d no outdoor seating why charge extra! I feel Costa is becoming expensive.

Really handy to have the Costa at the hospital but seating is a little cramped when its busy and service can be slow. Clean and tidy even when its busy and sell fruit and some other healthy stuff too

Need to have a better selection of gluten free cakes and savouries. Not the prepackaged cakes but more similar to normal varietys.

A very nice place to go to chill, also the staff were very polite.

Very bad service. 4 staff members mooching about having conversations between themselves without acknowledging us. Once someone comes over to serve us (after 3-5 minutes waiting, watching them do nothing but ignore us) they didn't welcome us with a "hello, how can I help you today?" but instead just entered our cold drinks into the till and told us the price without offering us anything else when we were yet to order other bits. Felt very unwelcome and they were incredibly rude.

It is always stressful having a hospital appointment so afterwards I wanted to relax with a nice coffee. It was weak, hence no crema and little taste. I returned it but did not fancy the replacement that was offered. The cafe looked clean and spacious but the coffee did not live up to expectations. They have a 'captive audience' so this was very disappointing.

So good to be able to move from the world of ailments and struggle to a quiet sanctuary with, surprisingly, a pretty scent flat white! I know it’s part of the commercial sprawl, but having Costa in the local hospital is a much appreciated move. 👍🏼

Esta costa ocupa un lugar cautivo en el principal hospital somerset tratando con personas en una variedad de circunstancias y con competencia poco. En tres ocasiones recientemente he pedido su talento para un helado 'barman negro Americano. Usted podría pensar que sería sencillo y constan de hielo y un negro Americano, la clave está en el nombre. En la primera ocasión fue servido con leche y un jarabe pegajoso misterio. En una segunda ocasion me preguntó específicamente si es posible tener la misma bebida con hielo, sólo café y de nuevo el jarabe de misterio fue puesto en y tiene que ser hecho de nuevo. En la tercera ocasión, es decir hoy, instrucciones claras dadas por ejemplo hielo/café y no jarabe dicho, pero va de nuevo en el jarabe empalagoso. La gente puede cometer errores, pero cuando lo hacen no deberían de aprender a tirar el café al otro lado de la barra en el cliente y bajar en distain. Este es, sin duda alguna, compitiendo por el premio de la peor Costa encontrado (cerca administrado por uno cerca de la estación de Paddington, en Londres).
