Over priced, poor service and dirty tables. Avoid at all costs.

Good choice but hard to understand staff. Inside very dirty and needed cleaning.

Subs hardly filled. Had tuna mayo but all I could taste was bread and salad hardly any tuna. Customer service nondescript. Tables filthy. None of them were wiped while we there. Won’t be going back.

Poor staffing, I asked one of the staff a question, only for him to reply me that it’s common sense. More like I am senseless. I even said to him that it’s insulting and he never apologised. I really offended and sad.

Don’t bother waiting for a pickup slot cause your sub wont be done when u get there

Never again...refused us to use our points and then made us pay full price !!! 2 half box of salads and 2 6 inch subs £20. Spoke to them they said no contact information for head office and then was told could only spend 1000 points a time, having spoken with head office can use as many whenever I want.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't praise this Subway location enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making sure my sandwich was prepared exactly to my liking. The fresh ingredients and variety of options ensured there was something for everyone. They refused me to use my point and then the cookie was burnt and the only things that was good that it was clean for once and the Pepsi

They are scammers! They charged me for no reason 3 cookies which I didn’t order and didn’t get and I confronted them about it and got a refund. I don’t care for the £1.50 but what is annoying is how they did it. They sneakily and super fast added on a charge and I luckily saw a glimpse of it. Luckily I ordered the exact same thing the day before so I realised there was a price difference. Be careful

I asked for cheese on bacon footlong sub. Bacon barely covered the sub. When I asked for the meat to cover the ends I got told I would be charged extra. Extremely stingy on the cheese and not very much salad. Sub not wrapped very well all fell to prices before I sat at table

Ordered my boyfriend’s subway for no toasted and it came toasted! We rang them up asking for a refund or to send a new one and they were so rude and also said they’ll give a discount on a drink the next time we order! Barely speak English. If you’re going to work in this country, learn English!

Unfortunately I asked for a refill option and pay £1.65. Nobody at the till mentions to you the refill option doesn't exist anymore in this store. When going to refill, a member of staff pointed a minuscule sticker on top of the fountain dispenser "This store doesn't do free refill". In this case, let the customers know at the till, or use a bigger notice board or even better, remove the dispenser all together as there aren't real drinks in there anyway, just water with chemical concentrated flavour. Very messy store as well, no clean tables and no staff willing to do the cleaning without asked by customers.

When told the server what I wanted he never done properly and when said he dine wrong the answer we got back was sorry already done it. Then challenged him he took the cheese off my chicken and placed back on the cheese a total allergen wrong doing

So much worse then any other subway in the area, they skimped on any meat in the sandwich, rude staff. Hardly spoke English as well.

Went to buy a Tuna Kahuna as the picture showed it with salad extras only to find it came with basics and nothing added, it was sloppy and didnt have any substance to it. Disappointed i would recommend this and the staff were not forthcoming

Went in Saturday 15th and the place has gone down hill. Meatballs tasted absolutely disgusting, I do not know what they have done to them! They rush you through each section and do not do the job properly, seems rushed and slap dash! Do not understand English as I had to keep repeating what I was saying as well as other customers! Will not return to this store .

Watch out for how much you get charged here. They tried to change me £19 for food that was only £12.

Came in at 19:25 and was rushed into ordering something when we were clearly looking at the menu. Got told they were closing and didn’t have much time. 40 minutes is more than enough time. Rude staff, if my partner wasn’t there I’d have made a scene. Don’t come here.

The worst Subway experience i had ever , the staff were using mobile phones frequently, they’re behaviour was so rude and unorganised. There’s was shortage of green salad and one of the tall indian staff were to rude to us , the salad wasn’t fresh , the vegetable patty was very cold . Mainly the staff were unorganised and rude . Overall i will rate Taunton subway 0. Hope the authorities will sort it out . We are the regular customers here and we decided to end from now

Think it’s a bit disgusting that you allow you staff to stand in FULL uniform smoking cannabis at your bins with their friends at 16.50pm on Tuesday 6/12/22 I walked past with my two children with the full intention of coming in for food. Needless to say we did not come in. Disgusting and unprofessional

My husband and I went into Subway for a meal deal (not!!!!). He had a steak & cheese 6" roll - when he opened it at the table he said "did they forget to put the steak in", he couldn't believe the small amount they had given him. He said to me look at the advert up there, which I did and it was nothing like it. I had a chicken & bacon roll but said I didn't want the bacon - when I added a couple of the so called extra's (lettuce/salad), I asked for a bit of plant cheese - for which I was charged an extra 30p for at the till !!!!! You would have thought that I wouldn't be charged as I didn't have the bacon. We visit Taunton quite regularly as we are fairly local, BUT we definitely will NOT be going to SUBWAY. I was astounded at the price too (over £14).

The staff said they couldn't accept the coupon. please do not send discount coupons to my address if this does not work. You only pollute the environment. You take time and money. Good food and lots of options. Nice location. The prices can be a tad high but you will also find some more budget friendly options as well.

First time in subway, we had meatballs and cheese, it was delicious and the coffee was excellent. It was clean and service was very good 👍

Staff member was useless. I had to repeat myself a number of times for him to get the sandwich correct (it wasn't a difficult order). Got back home and found he'd still messed the order up. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just awful, rude staff that didnt have a clue what they were doing, my partner asked for honey mustard sauce on his sub and the man put on brown sauce??? Considering covid-19 is around there was no hygiene in the restaurant was awful wrappers and crumbs all over the place and sticky tables that hadn't been wiped down! Never going to go back to this subway avoid at all costs!

Thought we would go to subway for our special anniversary meal but it was ruined by a rude and ignorant employee who hates mayonnaise! I asked for a meatball marinara with all of my favourite salad and I thought I would top it off with some mayonnaise but when it was given to me I had noticed how the mayonnaise I had been longing for had been scraped away I don’t know if this is because the worker didn’t like the sauce or had no respect for me and my beautiful wife. Furthermore my wife has very sensitive ears and became very distressed when the very same worker dragged the chairs across the room creating an awful racket. I think It would be fair to say that our ten year anniversary was ruined and my tastebuds were unsatisfied. Will never be returning

Been using subway for 12 years. Last visit was by far the worst. Staff were terrible.no customer service at all. Please don't stare at passers by outside when I'm ordering. Please talk to me and be polite. Please don't slap the sub together. A bit of care might make it taste nice.very disappointing.

You can't really mess the food up here. Luckily. Food same as usual. Front of house filthy. Tables not wiped, floor not swept. No customers expect us. Two staff working, both of whom looked miserable and totally disinterested in their job. Girl behind the counter had on a very greasy apron and looked like someone had just told her she had to work here for the rest of her life. A woman who worked here but was out of uniform swept the floor a bit and then rearranged some crisps (same expression on her face also). I don't work in customer service because I hate it and it would show on my face too. Don't know if extra training is needed or maybe a change of career. Either way it was mucky and depressing. Well done Subway. Not.

Had a chicken salad meal with pepsi max cherry. Tasty, healthy & inexpensive. Staff were friendly and efficient. I had to ask about allergens & calories and the lady was very knowledgeable, making several helpful suggestions. The store was clean and well organized.

This is my local Subway. Normally quite reliable, so I don't tend to check my orders. However, when I got back to my office I found an incomplete order. I shall be more vigilant next time

Very kind staff very energetic very kind to everyone never had a bad experience here with the workers. The subs are just fantastic very good and very cheap and are made in less than 3 mins. Also the cookies are amazing the made fresh every day so as the subs. Food is fresh and amazing.

Quick service and kind staff. Can get very busy however, in peak times, being right in the centre of town.

One of two subways now in Taunton. This one on Bridge Street, is at the far end of Taunton centre near St James Street car park and Granny Smith's. I Love this subway. Lovely and clean seating area totally up to date and bright. We were relaxed and not rushed through our order (for 5 people) at all. One was for an 8 year old boy which was his first subway experience. Servers were patient, and friendly. I would reccommend this one even though it's slightly at the other end of Taunton town but if you don't want to eat before you trip, you now have the option to eat afterwards.

I came to subway last month and was very nice! I recommend you come if you are here. Nice staff, they are welcoming.

This branch is located in the centre of the High Street and is not only the biggest Subway I have ever visited, but also (and by far) the busiest. There was a queue of twelve people ahead of me when I visited at lunchtime. That aside service came with a smile and the food was quickly prepared and tasted good. No complaints at all.

Brilliant service by staff and excellent value for money and the quality is absolutely amazing

Having never visited a Subway before today, I wasn’t sure what to expect. My boyfriend has always been a loyal customer, though, which is why I decided to try it. I was absolutely appalled at the service. The first server misheard our order and then, when my boyfriend attempted to correct him, the server got very impatient with us and acted in a semi-aggressive way that caused us, the customers, to apologise. Then, instead of starting our order afresh, the server simply carried on on the same piece of bread. This meant that I had to bin my sandwich as soon as we left the store, as I am a pescatarian and didn’t want to eat it once it had been touched by meat. Overall, the store was a mess. The workers were tripping and falling over each other, far too busy talking amongst themselves to focus on what they were meant to be doing. It’s a shame that this was my first experience of Subway, as I realise that this probably isn’t the norm, but I don’t think that I will be able to visit again now. Equally, my boyfriend was horrified by the service and is also considering boycotting.

This place was one of the worst subways I have ever come across. The floors were dirty the tables needed wiping I asked for a napkin to do it myself, the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted him to come do it, he would if I wanted him to. Staff were talking together behind the counter. The toilets were terrible. I have not written a poor review before but Subway really need to get this sorted, get a manager in there to sort this out, the one you are paying at the moment is not doing his job properly.

My husband and I went into the shop today, I was surprised by the way the tables were not cleaned down, it was not over busy at that time. I asked to use the toilet when i went in the floor was wet the place smelled and was in poor condition. After purchasing our food a noticed a customer handing over a plastic green basket and the guy behind the counter took it and placed it beside him this had already been used and when I paid for my meals and he placed my open food in this basket I was mortified. If the above does not shock you then I took some milk and sugar from the stand there which was filthy around the top of the entrance where you put rubbish there with sugar and spilt milk all over the place as well as old bits of food that had dropped out of peoples subways I could not believe the mess of this . I have eaten in lots of subways all over the world and I have never seen one in such a disgraceful unhygienic state. Shame on you

Long lines and the staff are a bit deaf

The Sandwich are ok however there is alway a long queue whenever I go. The prices are also a bit to pricey for what you get.

Gps navigation says open till 11 on Fridays, Subway door says 9 and they were closed at 8 :( my stomach was not happy
