Very relaxing atmosphere, really good food and wine. The staff are friendly. Outside seating when the weather is warmer. It has a huge car park. I highly recommend

A somewhat limited menu and slow service. The BLT sandwich was very average. The restaurant was quite noisy; lots of loud talking/laughing and the acoustics just amplify it, so we could hardly have a conversation at our table.

Nice location but service was slow , and food was cold and unappetising. Coffee was luke warm . They are aiming at quantity rather than quality. Manageress was very apologetic.

I was in at 11 today Saturday 29th and there was 3 members of staff just stood doing nothing but you could hear another out the back working. And saw one staff member sat on a work service. This is not good enough. This is the Taunton tesco

Great sports facilities with a well used clubhouse. Great range of drinks too with a superb view over the hockey pitch.

Great venue. No decent drink available at all though. Only cold larger, cider and a range of kids drinks like WKD. No scotch, just rum, vodka and the odd gin. Saved myself £200 at the bar though, my just drank a few Half's of cider. Shame, we could have made it a regular party venue being local to us. Other than not bothering to have drink at all, great.

Called in for lunch at The Bird in Hand. We were welcomed by the landlady, who had on offer a wide range of real ales, ciders and lagers. As it was lunchtime, and we had detailed cerebral work to do later, we both opted for soft drinks The Bird in Hand has a great village pub feel and is clearly both 'a local' and visited by those further afield. I clarified with the landlady about the open mic sessions on the last Thursday of each month. I have still to get to one of those. It was a beautiful day, so we had our basket meal in the quiet and peaceful rear garden. This is a great pub to visit - both at lunchtimes and in the evenings.
