A good hockey club with lots of facilities

Excellent local sports club with 2 cricket pitches, all weather hockey pitches, indoor training centre and corporate event hosting space.

Went for a sports presentation evening, the facilities are excellent and well worth a look if you are planning a function.

Court nets are usually not attached or are old and broken. Courts have divets and holes. Lights don’t always come on when needed. Parking fines are huge.

There is no free parking, lights are cut off immediately on next second after your session

Do not use this venue, vicious parking fees.evening parking after 6pm attracted a £100.charge from a company “Civil Enforcement “

We had our wedding reception here on the 13th May and I honestly can not rate their service highly enough. Steve, the events manager was helpful throughout and made everything so much easier. The bar staff on the night were second to none and both myself and my wife can not praise him enough. Constantly on his feet, helpful and cheerful. He even refused to make us wait outside in the cold for our taxi going above and beyond. Then, the next morning when we returned to tidy up and collect our things, the contracted cleaner had already set everything aside in a corner for us making it all 100x easier. Honestly, if you're thinking about booking your event here, I 100% recommend you go ahead and do it

Perfect venue for hosting events such as family parties. We booked this venue for an event and we were extremely happy with how we were treated. The relaxed and helpful attitude of staff was excellent. Would highly recommend!

We booked a spot but nobody turned on the lights after 5pm. Very disappointed

We booked for 1 hour between 5pm and 6 pm and at 5:30pm the lights were still off. 14 people, few of them driving from outside Taunton and 10 cars paid £2 for car park. We didn’t not played

Would give 0 stars if I could. Paid for parking but still given a parking fine. Tried to appeal and it wasn’t given. Shocking service. Do not recommend using this facility.

Absolutely shocking venue, treat there customers like rubbish. Give them a 60 pound fine even when they have bought a ticket for the day. Disabled facilities are awful, dirty, broken seat and not really accesible for wheelchair users.

The most disgusting experience. We booked a pitch from 9-10pm. We had no notification on changes to parking charges when we booked. Which had recently changed on arrival there was no lights or any signage in the car park, to notify of charges. We have now all been hit with £100 each over a £1000 for us. We have been told there were signs in the lane to the car park. Not that useful. Which is utterly despicable! We will not be using yourselves again if you want to make changes make sure you let your customers know. Expect to lose many customers congratulations

Great amenities and large spacious grounds for a range of sports, indoor halls, hockey pitches, football and cricket. Pets welcome also as long as on a lead.

Changed parking restrictions to 24 hours with no communication to us or the 6 a side company we play through, play late at night so no chance of seeing the unlit signs and hit with 100 quid fines as a result

I have just recently received a parking fine from parking at Taunton Vale whilst using the venue for Tuesday night Soccer Sixes. After just coming off the phone from Taunton Vale I was advised that the 24 hour parking has only been in place for 6 weeks. The majority of our football matches take place at 9:20pm. Not only is it dark at this time anyway, but the road leading up to the parking where supposed parking notices are, have no sufficient light whatsoever. With no communication to the league advising of the new changes to the venue, and no lighting at all near newly introduced parking enforcement signs, how are you expecting players to be aware of your changes. I would also like to point out the poor quality astro turf which is surrounded by damaged metal fences which could cause harm to users.

Saints sw squad training with my son. Well organised for the first session after lockdown. The AstroTurf pitches are excellent. And the Cricket pitches looked impeccable.

Run with the intent of looking derelict in order to make drug users feel at home.

Went for the spring fair, good size venue with plenty of parking

Very nice hockey pitch with vibrant colours. Changing rooms were cold with dirty floors. Food was ok.

For the price of hire, you expect a good standard of service. There have been occasions where we have been double booked. But the main concern is the safety of the indoor court. Holes in the ground (for netball posts) are frequently exposed, goal posts are not secured and frequently fall over during games and bits of low level metal skirting is hanging off on places which is quite dangerous. Cricket nets are also not securely fastened to the wall. All easy fixes but needs fixing.

Good viewing for spectators for hockey. Great pitch for hockey. Looks like the Olympic pitch used for the London Olympics.

Excellent sports venue The array of facilities is mouth watering from netball to football to cricket, you think thats it until you go inside.... wow, pool tables, darts and a bar and even a barbecue in the summer found out that they had the first ever LED floodlights in the UK That tells you how brilliant this venue is Go there quickly to enjoy your fitness

Bubble football was a laugh. Good large 7 a side pitch. Cramped changing rooms

Nice friendly cricket ground but bar and servery hit and miss. Went to see a major Somerset 2nd eleven cricket match but no hot food available at lunchtime even though it was advertised outside. Disappointing.

It has the facilities required a range of room sizes , good catering and parking. Alongside great sports facilities.

Some great facilities here. Astro-turf pitch for hockey and 2 excellent cricket pitches. The club house is reasonably large and the bar staff are efficient. You can get a selection of hot drinks as well as the usual alcohol and soft drinks.There is an ample car park as well as off road parking when full.
