Nice meal but Tiger prawns were a tough!

Stopped at the premier inn on our way home. Walked down to the compass. Ended up having one of the best burgers I've ever had. The whole family really enjoyed it.

If your local to this place and have never visited, then you are missing out, lovely friendly atmosphere, staff are very friendly and welcoming, food is very good, nice little hide away.

A superb meal of pie, veg and crispy chips! Friendly staff and customers.

We call in once a month in the evening (not long before closing time) on our way home from a club event. Always greeted with a smile and warm welcome from the staff. Everything cooked to perfection and keeps hot till we stop on the way in the car to eat it. Pineapple fritters especial favourites of ours. A very friendly and enoyable way to complete our day. Many thanks to all.

The cornhill is a very friendly pub, great customer service, friendly staff and customers. Great choice of food and drinks. Definitely recommend visiting here. Family friendly too, and a beer garden. In the centre of Bridgwater town

Lovely carvery been going over 25 years always good hot food went last week and we normally order straight away and get a table as we always get there just after 12.but my wife came back and said we've got to pay for n meal first and this waitress said I will tell you what table to go to.she was quite upset at this and only eat half of her food and didn't want a drink one of the waitresses who knew we go regularly couldn't apologise enough and said she shouldn't have done this.cant ever fault the meals but we've decided not to go there again .

Not sure why the reviews are so high, the food is average pub food, nothing special. No gluten free options.

We stayed here in our Motorhome for 6 nights. We had a fabulous time. The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The entertainment (70’s weekend) was very good. The food was not too bad but the beef (for the carvery) had been left out all afternoon so was very dry. The pizzas were excellent, we will be back.

I ordered Veg biriani, 50% I got only I got potato 🥔 in my biriani.

A decent pint. However the food is more to a greasy spoon standard. Over priced on some items for what you receive a lot of people eat with there eyes and if what’s put in front of you is bland boring and clearly cheap product it’s never truly enjoyable. However a lovely pub nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. A few tweaks in the product they use for there food & it would be a perfect pub

Love this place dog friendly goid staff and lovely outside sitting area with beach access. Visit alot during the summer for shot breaks
