The nighttime entertainment some was good Some was bad but Ian the entertainer made it even better he was truly amazing always had us laughing and made our stay a whole lot better you can’t find another Ian thank you Ian you made our whole week

As a venue this place has the lot! They offer reasonably priced drinks and food menu. There are two bars the Lounge bar which is open through the afternoon into the evening and the cabaret bar which opens at 7pm and runs until late. Kids entertainment, Carvery etc happens in the Lounge whereas the live entertainment and late night disco and gameshow happen in the cabaret bar. The entertainment on the cabaret bar always seems to be of a high standard. I visited the Beachcomber several times during my stay on the attached campsite (Warren Farm) and each night the featured act was always of high quality. The master of ceremonies Ian was lovely and really knows how to throw a good party (although I think after countless requests from one of our group I fear he may have grown sick of Cupid Shuffle) Over school holidays the cabaret bar can get very busy and should you want a seat you need to be queuing at around 6pm, but this only proves the quality of the service provided at people are willing to queue for longer than an episode of Taskmaster for Bingo and a Party!

Number two on the Brean pub crawl. Plenty of outdoor seating. Slight drawback that dogs are not allowed in the rear garden. Excellent beer!

Disappointed. Met family at the venue, and 6 meals were ordered. Only 4 meals were served. Went back to the bar to enquire where the other meals were. Was informed that the receipt hadn't made it to the kitchen, but they would be with us very soon. The 4 meals which had been served had now been consumed and finished. Still the other 2 hadn't arrived. Went back to the bar again to be told they hadn't received the order as there was nothing on the system ( although they knew what meals had been ordered) refund was then requested to be told it would take 7 days to go back into the account. This venue had been recommended, and for a first time visit, we shall not be returning.

Really great carvery found parking easy with there car park opposite went inside it was lovely and cool with there air con got our table paid for drinks and carvery went to get carvery they put plenty of meat on the plate then plenty of veg potatoes yorkshire pudding big and what I really liked was you could have a gravy boat to take back to your table was so good came back the following Sunday with my nephew and his partner and little one they also do takeaway carverys

Can you tell the annoying security woman that her cat calls and whooping during the bingo sessions are not funny and extremely tedious?

Just had the Thursday carvery. 3 meats to choose from all very good. All the food was hot and plentiful. Will definitely visit again

Stayed for a week in the static park. Caravan was clean and tidy. Have to take your own bedding now since covid which is a pain, use to enjoy the bed being made up on arrival. Carvery twice a week isn't working...very quiet on the Thursday we were there...we had Chinese. Some great entertainment...tank sherman is fab...our fourth time to laugh with him....little eagles were also great. Back again in July as our second home.

Wow, what an amazing place! The entertainment here is outstanding, so many great acts and a lively atmosphere. Best place for a night out for miles around! The food and carvery was great too. Highly recommend :)

Came to Brean for the day. Good that you don’t have to book. A good selection from the carvery but disappointed the food was cold and beef was quite tough.

We went for an evening carvery. It was like a circus there. Screaming children running around. The food wasn't great. I think the Brent house carvery would knock spots off them.

We enjoyed the Sunday carvery here, the food was nice and servers pleasant. Being Easter Sunday it was very busy but everything seemed to run smoothly.

Great place, so much better now families are allowed in the main bar and it’s not just full of old people drinking soda water. Great to see the place rammed with young families eating, drinking having fun and dancing! Kids spent most the night in the kids room and then came and enjoyed the band with us grown ups, showing us how to party! they loved it and so did we!

First of all let me say how many happy hours we have had in the past 15 years at the Beechcomber. This was by far our venue in Brean. It used to be that children were allowed in the main cabaret room until 9 pm, it was fantastic then. Now I think it has dropped in appeal for the usually most excellent shows as the room is full of tired children crowding the stage and dance floor. I think it's a super shame because there is already another lovely suitable room for children and families to use. I think it was entirely fair, not only to customers coming out for evening meals and entertainment to share the room until 9 pm and then to allow the many adults some adult time. Also I think it was fairer to the acts to be able to perform to an appreciative audience. The room available and used for great children's entertainment and families is now much less used. Whereas, the main cabaret room is now crowded beyond comfort with lots of customers standing. Please can you consider reinstating the 9pm time limit for children? As it stands we no longer find it appealing to come to the venue. Also it becomes increasingly difficult to find a seat unless you want to que from 5. 30 pm

Came here for the carvery roast dinner very good value for money. Plenty of food and the meat was tender. Only complaint need new cutlery as the ones we used were blunt.

Brilliant night naughty ninety band .Amazing this band works so hard. IM 56 years old their engery made me feel 26.A great place been going here for 50 years.

Really friendly staff. The carvery on a Thursday & sunday is value for money, The entertainment is absolutely brilliant. On the big events such as the Elvis weekender, maybe have it as an alldayer, the beachcomber would benefit in drinks & food & there could be more Elvis through the days

This sec to be a great club but standers have slipped,people can wear offensive clothing with security staff letting these people in,not a family club anymore

Well we have only been her two or three times and the kids love the children’s entertainment but only when Aimee is working she defo keeps the children entertained from 5.30 to lil 10pm with all her fun games and dancing she definitely not one off those entertainers who just stands there looking bored she definitely joins in (even if she does look silly 🤣) and the kids love it she also keep all the parents entertained too with the interacting games, I would definitely recommend going when she working the kids will have so much fun!!

This place has always been one of the best places in Brean for a good night out, sadly it appears more people drive to the venue than in the past and many leave straight after the live entertainment has finished which is a pity as it doesn’t leave enough people to create a good atmosphere for the late night disco, which makes me wonder if the adjacent lounge bar would work better for a more intimate atmosphere. Also I don’t think the current DJ always plays the right kind of music for the crowd, although he can be spot on at times and is very energetic. Either way it’s still a great place for a night out in Brean.

Food arrived super quick. The hunters chicken was very overdone, the meat was hard and tough to slice. We also ordered a beef madras curry, there was plenty of meat, but there was no sauce! It was the driest curry in Somerset! Lots of older children running around the dance floor with no supervision so not safe for little ones to enjoy at all. We left very disappointed.

The beachcomber is amazing bar for live entertainment and music . Such a variety of tribute acts . Catering for peoples different taste of music and you may hear the party dancers which are really enjoyable. The staff are really friendly. I went up to the entertainment manager when he was in his DJ box, and he was so friendly and willing to explain How the system works because that’s what I am interested in is how it all works and the entertainment manager did a special shout out for someone on are table and I asked him to come out and do a party dance with us and he was more than happy to do that which was amazing and I loved every moment. Also went to one of the managers at the bar and he was really friendly and happy to have a chat and a laugh and happy answer. Any questions I had about the beachcomber. Those are the two people I spoke to mostly , but all the other members of staff I spoke to were really nice and friendly. Happy to answer any questions. . I do not normally do you TripAdvisor reviews, but I had such a good couples of nights in the beachcomber . I really wanted to write a review.

This place used to be a good place for drink and food but this year they changed the menu which is on one side a a a4 paper and they now don't do coke only Pepsi max

We where staying at Warren farm for a few days and thought we would try the beachcomber we had dinner on our first night I had chilli nachos and my partner had madras which was great value for money and on the Thursday we had the carvery which was lovely we thoroughly enjoyed the cauliflower cheese and the parsnips. The carvery was £13.50pp and the meat portion was generous and an absolute bargain. My only criticism is that the drinks on tap are abit pricey but other than that we enjoyed our food and our games of bingo. We will be back

Stopped off here for a pint after we had climbed Brean down, so was a welcome stop! There is a nice outside area. If the weather' bad there is a huge indoor area too. People were eating inside and this looked good. There is a big car park on the opposite side of the road. A nice experience. Table service only.

The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the rump steak with a side salad that was so fresh that I had it twice during our 4 day stay. My husband had fish and chips one night and the next night the steak and ale pie which was very good.

Visited for Sunday Lunch, we chose a table and staff came straight across with such a warm welcome, prompt, friendly and extremely helpful. We ordered drinks and Sunday Lunch which arrived within minutes, staff again on hand for top up drinks, clearing the table, checking food was ok. Archie & Oscar are a credit to this establishment. We will certainly return on our next visit to Brean, I highly recommend the Beef Dinner, thank you for a fantastic meal.
