Very friendly staff. Excellent food and drinks. Love it their.

Was good but but the smell of tabbaco smoke from front and the back of the cafe while i was eating put me off and the mushrooms on my breakfast were reheated not fresh

First time in this cafe, and I will be heading back in soon. We ordered the traditional breakfast and omelette and pot of tea. The food was good. Very good price for it all and the service was very quick. I definitely recommend this cafe

Nice little cafe just on the edge of the river in Bridgwater. I have been here a couple of times now, the food seems to be of qugood quality and the service is fast. Because it is quite a quite location during the day they seem to try and create atmosphere by pumping the music up a little higher than what is needed, it should just be background noise. Their coffee is good but the cappuccino desiers some improvement. Seems to be just a small layer of foam across the top with tons of milk. I did not order a latte!! Would visit again for the food and a white americano

The best thing about the restaurant is the view - A1 and better. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they feel comfortable - but it's fine. What is not possible is the refusal to accept credit cards and foreign bank cards.......

Breakfast was great, and the service was fast and friendly. The only dissapintment was the amount of smoking by the entrance, including by staff. As a non-smoker, the smell was very unpleasant and spoiled the experience.

Nice cafe restaurant. Always pleasant service. The foods we've had is good and good prices. Only shame they close a bit too early. Edit Prices have gone up as everywhere but some of it is disproportionate.

Great experience all round, definitely for any breakfast goers, would recommend, have only tried the breakfasts before though, so can't say on rest of menu but, of the breakfasts I have tried they were all very delicious and cheaper than what I thought, £16 for their biggest breakfast along with some extras and a milkshake will be going again 👍

I am struggling to say much positive about this place other than the location is good It does have Wi-Fi and we were served promptly and some good 60s music was playing . We were however served cold sliced tomatoes with a cooked breakfast - and the bubble and squeak was sloppy mash with sprout flavouring - it was poor There was loads is cigarette smoke wafting in from outside and the place is rather tired Expect better for the £22 we spent on 2 breakfasts and coffee The place needs smartening up

Not a fan. The food took ages to be served and everyone received their dishes like five minutes apart from each other.

As a local every Thursday we visit our local coffee shops for cake and coffee. We have not been in coffee creme for a year so decided to return. I arrived to find all the tables were clean and very tidy, seating outside was very busy. The menu looks great and is affordable for families, The selection of cakes was 4 sponges on offer. Both the girls serving were very polite and respectful, we wanted non-dairy milk which they were able to provide, (some places we have visited in 2023 don't know what oat mom is ). Table service was offered and our coffee and cakes turned up within 5 min, a good portion of cake for 1 adult and the flavour of both sponges were nice, presentation was 10 out of 10. Coffee with Oak milk was nice not too strong and came hot which is better than some places that serve Luke warm coffee. Sadly Oak milk does not always forth but that's nothing to complain about. Music low enough to hear but conversation able to heard. Many of us don't have spare cash so it nice to find a reasonable restaurant that prices are not over the moon. Highly recommended in you in Bridgwater and want a quite stress free environment for something to eat and drink Just to add sometimes the smell off kitchen can be smelt but not enough to be off putting, sat at the front we could smell cigarettes and vap coming in through the front door, but it was not enough on our visit to change my review. No WiFi on offer, but this does not mean it's not available upon request, and please could napkins be given with the cakes after hands get sticky.

Arrived around mid-day and took a seat. We looked at the menu and made our choices. We then waited. They weren’t that busy and had 3 front of house staff on duty. The 3 staff just stood behind the counter talking. None of them so much as glanced our way. So we waited some more Another 5 minutes passed and a member of staff put her coat on and left. We waited some more trying to get eye contact with at least one of 2 staff remaining. Then we over hear “well if we are not busy I’m just popping out….” Ok says the other guy and she walks out and he disappears into the kitchen! We get up and leave.

Lovely cafe with friendly service. We went late afternoon and missed the rush. We only had drinks, but they were really good and very well presented.

Great food at really reasonable prices. Was impressed with the quality of food given the cheap prices compared to other cafés. First time visit and will definitely return. Only thing I can comment on was that it seemed dark inside. The lights were on and again its a personal preference to lighting

First visit here and probably the last but only because they don't cater for customers who are gluten free so couldn't have anything to eat pity because the food I saw come out looked good the coffee was fine, toilets were clean enough quick service

£14 for 2 sausage 2 eggs 2 pieces of bacon1 hash brown and beans and it was cold. I added extra but didn’t come with the order this has happened before.

We were just passing by and needed a bite for lunch. Sat outside with our dog. Ordered inside, very pleasant staff. One sandwich, One Breakfast, Tea and Apple juice. Only a few minutes wait and food was excellent. And a nice bowl of water for the dog. Great service. Thank you.

Web site shows open till 4pm, traveled through town, found parking and took the short walk. As soon as we walked in we are told they are closing. Pointed out the times show 4pm. The reply was “Yes but we have school runs to do”. By now it was to late to find anywhere else. Just felt as though we did not matter.

Better than yer standard little greasy spoon cafe - stopped off randomly when passing and the staff were a little flexible about menus and the food was also pretty good.

Lovely view of the Riverside, excellent coffee and cakes available. I did struggle with the noise levels at times, but overall a brilliant place to spend time with friends over a cuppa. I recommend the comfy seats by the window!

Website doesn't accept payments other than cash at the door, order minimums are excessive for one person on the food apps if they change their status to open, and they don't answer the phone. I take it they are done for business?

Cafe Cream is situated by the river, in lovely surroundings with many floral arrangements at regular intervals, and it's very pleasant to sit outside in the sunshine. My companion had coffee and I chose a pot of tea, but this turned out to be very weak. I expect they're trying to cut corners to save money like everywhere else. The waitress was very friendly and the service was quick. Toilet OK.

The food is enjoyable, though not out of this world, the service is always welcoming and lovely and the place it's situated in is a very nice place to sit and stop for a while. I've been with friends and my partner on a number of visits and it's always pleasant.

Found this little gold mine by total luck on the way back from torquay.. if you're in the area ( within 100 miles ) you must try this if you're like a quality breakfast.. 10/10 .. the staff are very friendly and boy can they cook .. again I'd give this ten stars if I could ... quick get in your car and drive

Excellent breakfast with colour and flavour, great Italian coffee and very good service in a nice clean establishment. Thoroughly recommended and meals to suit everyone including kids.

we visited on good Friday, the wait to have our order taken was very slow, the meals came out separately as they forgot to cook one and the eggs were under cooked. the milkshake has got smaller for the same price and latte was alot of froth

I'm a regular customer, I have the breakfast on a regular basis, and found them to be very good , they are cooked to order, so the meal is always nice and hot. the coffee is also excellent. The staff are always very helpful and friendly.

Had a we wander around Bridgewater, on the Asda side of the river. Looked around a few charity shops. Getting hungry then wandered over the bridge. Seen this place and headed in. Menu looked very comprehensive, so 2 V1 breakfasts, Omelette, poached eggs on toast, nice sized bowl of chippies and some extra toast. Two coffees and a pot of Decaf tea for two. All was scoffed, staff were upbeat. Really enjoyed the food and the place. Lovely. Cheers 😬😬😁😬

It's just ok. Cheap ingredients, but well put together. Service is good and friendly. Nice location by river, but too smokey from customers at front and staff out back, so you can't escape smoke smell by going inside.

Ordered at 11am which I appreciate is the busiest of times. After an hour I called to which they said it was on the way. Another hour passed so called again...they didn't have my order. Asked me how I ordered so I said directly through their website to which the response was that their screen was frozen. Maybe my bad that I didn't use just eat but don't advertise to take orders through your website if it's not going to work. Fed up and absolutely starving.dont use their website to order.

Nice coffee and custard tarts. One of the very few independent cafes open after 3pm in Bridgwater. Plenty of outdoor seating next to the river Parrett and polite friendly staff.

A little bit dingy and dull. Needs better lighting to brighten the place up. Food is always really good. Quick service, with food coming out piping hot every time. Coffee is nice as well. Been a few times with work colleagues it's a place we will visit again.

The food quality and coffee is excellent but they are chaotic in how they charge for their drinks. I was charged twice for the same cup of coffee and they didn't even apologize for their error. They need to improve their payment record system and improve staff training.

The food is nice the service is below par as I was charged twice for drinks. The waitress was very rude saying and I Quote “haw am I supposed to know” and wasn’t going to do anything until I said we will not be coming here again that she said I will have a look and we had two the drinks which we were owed. My friend had the same thing happen to him in the past so I would suggest be very careful and observant needlessly say we won’t be going back which is a shame as it used to be nice there.

What a lovely place to eat. The quality of the breakfast we had was outstanding! Really good value. Had to wait a while for food to come but it was really worth waiting for. There is seating outside if you want to eat there. Recommended

Good tea cake and a cuppa but was a bit weak for my tastes. Would be nice if they offered a choice of blends. Tea and cake seems to be a bit of a side line as was mostly more meals than snacks.

After driving to Bridgwater to stay we wanted to find a local cafe for lunch before checking into the hotel. After a little walk around we stumbled upon this friendly place. We came inside and were shown to a table for two by a friendly waitress who then took our order. We had omelette and cheesy chips in a wrap and were very pleased with the order, they were massive dishes and filled us up for the afternoon. Can recommend for anyone walking round Bridgwater.

We came here for a refreshing cup of coffee, which it was! Very nice coffee indeed. But it was somewhat spoiled by the state of the table, which hadn't been cleared when we took out seats. The waitress quickly cleared the table but omitted to wipe it down! Not so nice! Anyway, we enjoyed the coffee and the view of Fisherman's Wharf from our outside seating.

We are regular customers at the Cafe Cream and this morning we ordered breakfast at 10:30AM, two breakfasts and a strawberry milkshake. We have ordered many times before and have been happy with the service. However, today we were treated awfully and with shocking customer service. 1PM, and we were still waiting for our food which eventually arrived at 1:05PM. Throughout this, we attempted to phone but were met with “User Busy” so could not get in touch with the cafe. Eventually, at 11:30AM we got through and were told that our food was on the way, which it wasn’t. We finally got through after many attempts again at 12:45PM, to be told the same thing, and to be met with a laughing waitress who laughed as she apologised. This is not all - when we eventually received our food it was stone cold. I cannot eat eggs and therefore requested to have a hash borne instead of an egg - this was not listened to and the egg was put ON TOP of the breakfast so I could not eat any of it. The toast was soggy and inedible and went straight in the bin. The breakfast itself was tiny, such small portions and incredibly dry. We will be raising this complaint directly with Just Eat and will be expecting a full refund. We will not recommend this cafe to anyone. You have lost two very loyal customers, we are so disappointed and are still hungry.

Advertise pizzas online but don't have any. Ordered and paid now have to wait 3 days for refund. Thanks my last 20 quid so now can't reorder with a proper restaurant. IF YOU DONT HAVE IT DONT ADVERTISE IT. WASTE OF TIME.

I ordered online and walked out there for collection. My meal was a Full English, ordered without the black pudding and a lovely cup of cappuccino. We've been in the middle of a freezing spell this week and temperatures were around 0ºC excluding the wind-chill factor. It took me over 30minutes to walk home and you could still feel the warm food. I popped it all on a plate at home and nuked it at full power for 1½minutes just to get it back up to lovely! Thoroughly enjoyable for a takeaway.

Due to Covid and the restrictions on dining in, I ordered online and collected a Full English breakfast (excluding the black pudding that I hate). I plated up on getting home because although it's a take-away, doesn't mean we will not be civilised about eating it - that's my excuse. In reality, it took me thirty minutes to get home in freezing temperatures so I had to nuke it to get the temperature back to hot. I look forward to bring able to order and dine in, after the lockdown.

might as well just do takeaways. i queued for 10mins ten served lukewarm drinks on a reguarly basis! takeaways more important . people milling around no facemasks etc. disabled toilet seat been damaged for ages. shame as it use to be our favourite cafe!!!

In these covid times they seem to be on top of it. My wife and I felt safe, having a coffee, and will use it again. :-)

Good food, excellent value and lovely staff.

We decided to try a different place for breakfast. This is good looking and on a good location by the side of the river. Not quite as well cooked as La Kage, but still well priced. Open on Sunday too, which others were not.

Popped in for a breakfast can’t say it was the best iv had but it was ok even thou looked mostly baked beans.. The toilet is for all customers men/ladies so staff could visit more often ...as pee on the seat..no toilet paper..hot water tap doesn’t work or hand dryer..definitely not pleasant 😢

It was a filthy muddy day on the bikes, the lovely smiley lady didn't turn a hair as we peeled off the worst of the plastered kit, she even gave us newspapers to sit on.Excellent value, the omelette breakfast fuelled me for the next 4 hours riding.It's not a dainty cake sort of place to take your maiden aunt, but it's clean, warm and serves good food in generous quantities at a sensible price.

Was glad to see they have a veggie breakfast which is really good (I *think* it may be Vegan). The food is freshly cooked and isn't greasy. We've had a veggie burger too which wasn't stodgy and the chips seem to be cooked fresh and not left to keep warm until used. We've also had the omelette which is a decent size. Although it's pictured with chips on the menu it doesn't come with chips.Milkshakes are a decent size.It has a good-sized outside seating area but it's a smoking area so it's usually smelly and the floor is littered with fag butts. On that, the staff (not the proprietor) who go out to smoke do not wash their hands when they go back into the kitchen which I wasn't chuffed to see.The service from the proprietor is very friendly. The other staff can be a little sour-faced.

Doesn’t answer the phone, randomly texts an hour after ordering online that they’re “too busy”. only positive, I’m getting a refund, over £1 less than what I originally paid though
