Garlic bread pizza was very nice also the donner meat but £7 for a burger box full of donner is very over price it would of been cheaper to buy a kebab

The person everyone keeps criticising here has a brain injury, so please consider that some people try to work despite facing disabilities. If you take the time to speak with him, or with the other staff, you’ll get a better understanding of this situation.

When we entered we had hardly got through the door when this older women with glasses barked at us what did we want her whole manner was very inhospitable then told us we could only sit at this one big table as they were laying out the tables ready for Christmas and we were not able to sit in the other area either. The other staff were very friendly If this person is in charge she needs a talking to. I have worked in hospitality and if I had acted like that I would have been reprimanded.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Would recommend. The service was quick and efficient and the staff lovely.

I don't often enjoy leaving mediocre reviews and it is not something I often do. I often make a bee-line for locations such as this and was hoping for something a little more fulfilling. I had a strange interaction with the very young lady working, that was mostly my fault due of my dry sense of humour, which I did apologise for as it might have been a language barrier or the thought that I might have been being rude but the response was less than enthusiastic and accepting - that is just the way that it goes with me, I find. My friend and I did not feel to enthusiastic about the food when we arrived, not because it would not have been nice but the two microwaves did put me off and I just feel that the lady was going to just put together the food as per instructions. We settled for a coffee, which was weak in flavour and the cutlery smelt of dirty water, sometimes the case when the filter in the dishwasher isn't cleaned. I am probably used to a different level of vegetarian restaurant and frequenting Totnes often, I probably have a high bar, so I do apologise for the poor review. We did have a splendid chat with a lady from Hong Kong who was intrigued by my interaction with the waitress and the nuances of culture and language.

I was talking to my family about my birthday presents and Jon Richard’s (our waiter) heard us talking and brought me a free cake and ice cream. Food was really good and the menu catered for all the needs of your family members

The Admirals has great staff who are very helpful and very polite. If you need anything that they haven't got then they will try and get it for you. The customers are great and easy to talk too and to get along with. The Admirals also is on lower level and easy access for wheelchairs and the like. One other thing is that of you have a dog then they will provide you with a water bowl as dogs are welcome in the pub. The Admirals also have a great function room for multiple uses from meetings to other social gatherings. I would rate them 11 out of ten.

My friend treated me to tea for my birthday. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, table's cleared quickly. A good choice on the menu, well cooked, chips are lovely.

Restaurant review: Sunday lunch is excellent with multitude of vegetables and all the trimmings. 10/10

Popped in for a couple of pints. Beer was good but it was very cold in the pub. Would of stayed longer but for that. Friendly staff.

This was amazing food, arrived early and the portions were massive and not greasy. We had a couple of random requests and they got that 100% too. 100% would recommend
