Prezzo is an elegant place to eat , wonderful atmosphere with amazing staff. I have never been disappointed.

My Ceasar Salad was delicious and the chicken breast was plentiful and very tasty. Tiramisu for pudding again delicious. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

Great meals and great service. First time trying carbonara and really enjoyed it. Had the cheesecake, was expecting the banana to be a part of the cake not in the side. It was still a nice dessert

This restaurant is a true delight! Every dish was flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. The cozy atmosphere made us feel comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We had a fantastic evening and will certainly be back for another meal!

Food was good but yet again forgot the dips and chocolate sauce for my son’s desert, despite me adding a note to please not forget! Third time it’s happened now. Still a good takeaway option.

Really lovely food, speedy attentive service from highly cutomer focused staff. When we went (Monday 18-30) it was a bit quiet and lacking atmosphere, but friendly helpfull staff made it a very enjoyable time. Menu appears to be a bit pricey but quality costs and quality is what you get, by the platefull.

Ordered a carbonara and garlic bread each for two people. Waited an hour and a half and only one arrived, I tried to phone and went on hold to which the automated response asked me how many I wanted to book for and when I said 0 said that's not a valid response so I can't even connect to a real person. Seriously unhappy and still hungry

Table of 6 for lunch, spotlessly clean setting, attentive and helpful staff and one of the best meals we have had out for a while, we couldn’t fault it. Was very surprised with the quality of the food after reading some of the negative comments, will definitely be going again.

Great building , very welcoming staff. Very good menu spoilt for choice, food hot and very good. Can’t wait to go again. Well done Bridgwater.

Microwaved main course, or at least it seemed it. Bland mashed potato with what was supposed to be a featherblade of beef. Starter of soft Calamari equally as disappointing.

I gave this one star to the lovely lady that welcomed us and took us to our seat. The rest gets no stars as nearly an hour waiting for a drink is not acceptable in a restaurant. Could not flag down a member of staff to find out what the problem was. It was not overly busy and the table was booked a month ago. I would recommend staying away from this particular restaurant as there are much better ones to spend your money in the local area. A shame.

Food was cold! Everything was cold!

Prezzo Bridgwater really let themselves down tonight, and they know it. I've been a very good customer. I've been rooting for the place to succeed while other Prezzos have been failing. I take my family there often - and have done for many years. I always leave a generous tip. Last time I was there (this year), I was given a Prezzo scratchcard. It was a winner, and it offered 40% off the whole bill for up to 12 people. I was impressed and asked the waitress, who had served me many times before, how long it was valid for. My family all remember her saying "It has no expiry." As the card itself shows no expiry, I believed this. This evening however, I presented it and it was rejected. It wasn't a large bill. 4 of us - 2 of them children, no alcohol. I had to be extremely firm about how unethical they were being, and the manager's attitude was really unnecessarily obnoxious. It was so odd. I would have left a great tip. The waitress was lovely, and so attentive. There was another waitress on her first day - she was great. It had been a lovely evening, and I feel really disappointed that I wasn't able to leave them a tip, at Christmas, for their excellent service. The manager made me feel like trash - for what? That last time I was there, the bill was about £350 as there were 8 of us, and I must have been 20 X in the last 10 years or so. It's one of the best restaurants, in the best building, in Bridgwater. I'll never go in there again. Moronic.

Pizza was good, Pasta was poor, side salad a joke and the wine undrinkable. It took 15 minutes to order drinks and food, the food turned up 5 minutes later, still no drinks. All done in 30 minutes what a lovely mid week treat!

We visited prezzo having seen the xmas menu included one of my favourite dishes from this restaurant so after not seeing it for 2 or more years we were both looking forward to our meal unfortunately it fell far short of the Chicken milanese from previous years, bland would be my kindest description gone is the bolognese from it previous incarnation now we have a super bland tomato sauce or fries option. Sorry to say its not what we expected and an incorrect bill just added to the disappointment of the evening

Prezzo is situated in a glorious old building, which has been tastefully preserved to maintain its features. In my mind it is better to sit in main building and not the more populated window section. The food was lovely, both had pizzas and were well cooked, generously topped and piping hot. Staff were friendly and while the prices are not cheap, if you sign up to the companies mailing list, they send you some very good deals (we used 2 for 1 main, saving us £14.) But for the lovely location and tasty grub, I would say it is worth the money and is a destination with a bit of the wow factor. I would ignore the 1 star reviews, they could not be further from our experience.

We pre-ordered our lunch and it still came out half an hour after we arrived. The staff were rude and the spaghetti Bolognese was awful. Definitely not value for money - will not be returning.

First visit, and will be the last visit, Service was just about ok, the servers couldn't even pronounce what was on the menu correctly. Our starter was very bland, and then half way through our starter they decided to serve our main meal, which we rejected, and told them don't bring it back re heated, what a joke, they just don't have a clue. Main meal arrived a bit later, after we finished our starters, and we are sure it was the same meal just reheated, very dry, burnt round the edges. Not impressed and will never return. Very over priced, for what you receive, and very under delivered, not somewhere we would ever return to, there are fare better places to eat in Bridgwater, Even the cheap meals in Weatherspoon's are better than this place.

Ordered meal for 2, and the food was cold, pizza had low quality and pasta was tasteless.

What a horrendous meal! Dry salmon, dry pasta, awful service, overpriced food and drink. Really rude manager. I have given this local business the benefit of the doubt on several occasiaons but not again. Do e, never going back!

Food was okay. Not great, but we were hungry and did eat it. Lacklustre, slightly warm and underfilled Ravioli, which was a small portion for the nearly £18 it cost. Garlic bread was well overcooked and just came uncut (or unsnapped) on a plate. Bottled beer at £7 is also a bit steep even for a restaurant. Lovely looking building, staff really nice, but when we pointed out that the food was mediocre we just got the response ‘oh that’s a shame’, and no offer to do anything about it. If it wasn’t a meal on expenses, we would have made more of a deal about it. Instead - we will just vote with our feet and not go go anywhere near this chain again. Shame, as we eat out a lot more than most due to work travel requirements. Zizzi is our chain choice - never had a bad or even mediocre Italian meal in any of their restaurants, or Carllucios.

Very big portions , kids absolutely love it as well. VERY nice service , reasonable prices.

Took my daughter here to celebrate her birthday and it was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was brilliant and they did some little extras that made my daughter's birthday really special, which was much appreciated. The menu is really good with lots of variety. One of our party was younger so ordered from the kids menu, they received a drink, starter, main and dessert for one price, which I thought was a great offer. I'd highly recommend this Prezzo, especially for celebrations. We will definitely be going again.

Second time! - Got home to find I was overcharged on their 2-4-1 deal. After seeing the sign outside and confirming with the waitress the deal we split the bill and no one really looked at the bill. Got home and thought it was a bit steep and checked and yes for the second time they didn't apply the bill. We even paid a tip. Anyway chased up with a phone call at 2145, they explained the till was closed but then told us we should have checked this when paying but typically the splitting of the bill meant that no one really looked at the bill and we had had a drink as well. Very rude, she said she was the manager and basically told me 'tough'. Terrible attitude, followed up with a complaint but if like last time they send a voucher which we didn't use. Who wants to risk that at a restaurant that you've complained about?

Edited version as trip advisor won’t allow such profanity… After sitting down for my nieces birthday meal, I was excited as I perused the menu. The cider I ordered was going to be the first step to what I thought was going to be a great family get together… however, on arrival the £6:50 bottle was the size fit for a borrower… the equivalent of £13 a pint. The sad, poor excuse for a meal that followed was unfortunately no better. 12 ravioli on a plate covered with a few peas and shoots was in no way worth the £14:95 I paid for… at two ravioli a mouthful I was done in six forkfuls… that’s nearly £3 a mouthful… and that’s not including how cr#p the cheesy garlic bread is for £6. I did mention my disappointment of the size of portion to the waitress where I was told I could fill up on my friends sons fries if I wanted to, hardly a fitting solution I thought. There were clearly no f…is to give from the staff when I came to pay my bill at the end of what was quite possibly the sh…..est meal I’ve had in sometime. A lacklustre response and even a laugh from the staff when explaining I may as well stop of at the chippy on my way home… and the impertinence of ringing up the 20% service charge on top of a hugely overpriced bill that I refused to pay. Overall and on reflection… a s..t place with s…t food with a s… t attitude. Safe to say I won’t be going back…

Food was over and hour late, it was so cold also. So bad!

So so disappointing, I took a friend who was visiting me from Wells. Olives were very very salty and inedible only to the be served a pizza that was raw in the middle and the chicken dish that was way over cooked and rubbery with a watery sauce like dishwater with no flavour, both meals were completely inedible and sadly we decided to leave. What has happened to this once enjoyable resturant, I’ve been visiting for years???

I always when I buy pasta they never send the correct portion of cheese u pay for ,I put always on 2 portions of cheese for every single portion of pasta and they send 2 portions for all the order

Food was good, service was great, bit echoey but a nice venue in Bridgwater.

OK but not my first choice for a meal out. Staff professional and we had prompt and friendly service but the portions are a bit small for the price - we had to go back to our hotel to ‘top-up” so as not to go to bed hungry! The black and green olives promised on the menu were just green and tasted unripe. Didn’t like card reader prompting me to leave a tip with waitress looking on. Just felt I’d been ripped off.

completely cold, the pizza was really chewy where it had obviously just been sat there. the cake was dry and in crumbs by the time it arrived. The delivery driver was a 10/10, and looked far more appetising that the actual food.

First time in Prezzo for us. Lovely food, beautifully presented and a good varied menu. Served by a young man called Frasier,who was so efficient and just moved effortlessly around the whole place but always smiling and friendly. I am in a wheelchair and he assisted by opening a side entrance. Nothing too much trouble for him. Well done.

We randomly stopped in on a Saturday evening. Great food, good customer service. Will return :). Update - We have since returned on several occasions and every time food has been quick and delicious and the service personable.

Have been a few times in the last 6 months, and the food has always been excellent (portions could be a little bigger but no different to other restaurants). Service has been good and attentive.

Place looks alright but so very underwhelming. Food tried was the spaghetti carbonara, which to be honest tasted like it had been sat in someone's attic can only describe it as pre cooked dried pasta with a watery white sauce and "musky" aftertaste. I tried the lasagna. it was £16.75 for what was basically a ready meal cooked in the oven. Tasted so very bland. It was just a pre made meal with a tiny bit of green garnish on top. Felt like a right mug when the 50 quid bill came along. Avoid unless you like your microwave dinners costing a small fortune

Our first visit to Prezzo Bridgwater. We couldn't see a disabled entrance so used the main entrance to the side of the building. The place is amazingly beautiful in architecture. We decided to eat in the back room rather than the glass rotunda and were not disappointed with the architecture there either! Unfortunately the staff have had American training for waitressing...Hey Guys! Very fast food establishment etiquette! When I was trained as a silver service waitress we were only told to address people as Ma'am or Sir. But I digress. I know it was a "special event evening" but the tables were so close together that you could join in with each others conversation 😅 Our waitress, Marta was lovely and very pleasant to chat with. The food was ok but nothing special and certainly not worth the final amount. The drinks were even more expensive.. even in a cost of living crisis £10 for a beer is ludicrous. Would I go again? Maybe for lunch but not sure about a special occasion....

Amazing! very surprised by the pizza I ate today. I didn't expect it to be so good, it's not cheap, but the quality of the dishes is good for a restaurant chain. Furthermore, the service has been great, they have taken every detail with us, and treated us very well. Thank you Marta for the very familiar service you have given to us. We will return without any doubt!!!

Pre COVID we would frequent Prezzo monthly, the prices were reasonable (you could always get a buy one get one free or 50% off) and there was a vast menu. However, unfortunately the menu has reduced dramatically, portions reduced and prices have increased significantly. I am aware prices have gone up everywhere however £18 for a pasta dish is a bit extortionate. Unfortunately my last meal here just before Xmas was horrible. Grilled chicken with quarter of a cabbage which was dripping in water and making everything else soggy. The staff were good and offered another meal but the rest of the table had finished when my replacement arrived.

Lovely surroundings, that's all it had going for it. Beef Ravioli starter was unfortunately tasteless. Certainly wasn't fresh ingredients, all I could taste was some unseasoned cheese sauce and to top it off, the Ravioli pasta was undercooked and hard, oh, and beefless... Played it safe with a gourmet burger but unfortunately, the pate's were thin, overcooked and cardboard like. My friend opted for the prawn n crab Ravioli, same sorry story, totally unseasoned, bland and to top it off, borderline cooked.... Hard n cardboard like to put it bluntly. All in all, with a glass of white and a bottle of beer, cost me £70 quid and give me a ropey belly. For this reason, I Certainly wouldn't recommend. I don't know where the people are used to dining who rated this place!!!! Very disappointed 😞 😔

The young waitress was polite and friendly to all customers we ordered our main courses my lady friend ordered lasagne I had butter nutsuash pasta with pine nuts we ordered garlic bread came to the table cold and not cooked enough sent it back ts lasagne came out on a sizzler plate when she went to eat cold inside hot on top we then discovered it was brought in frozen obviously not cooked through I had taken off my bill good job we had wine but very disappointed with this restaurant nothing to make us go back again

Terrible service. We arrived for a bottomless brunch at 3pm we arrived a little early at 2.55 we didn’t get our first drinks until 3.11pm, we were then told we weren’t allowed to order any more drinks until our drinks were completely empty. We emptied our drinks and then the new drinks would take 10-15 mins to arrive. At the start we were served with the most attitude like it was a problem us being there. Our food came which was lovely, but again another 10-15 min wait for drinks. The bottomless brunch clearly states 3pm - 5pm So we ordered our last drink at 4.55pm and was told NO.! So I spoke to management and was greeted with absolute rudeness! She said well you did arrive before 3pm I said yes but we didn’t get our drink until 3.11pm she didn’t like my answer and said well we will give you the drink this time… I told her to forget it and we won’t be back and she said ok really cheery and happily. We won’t be returning.

Lovely atmosphere, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. I recommend the cannelloni as well as the spaghetti bolognese. We will be back to try the cocktails 🍸 😉

The food was great. We ordered the starter and mains and all were delicious. Even my nephews enjoyed their food. Sarah our server was very attentive and friendly. The only reason i gave 4 stars is because i did mention that its one of my family’s birthday, but it doesn’t get acknowledged. Would be nice if there’s a little gesture for it. Will come back again

Lovely building and each of our visits has resulted in excellent service and food cooked to the highest standard. Cannot fault anything that was served to us on both of our visits and staff encountered on both visits were excellent. Bottles of Pepsi are a little pricey, but that’s just me being a little picky. Best prezzo in the South West by a considerable margin and well worth the hours drive to get to.

Our delivery driver was brilliant and came straight to us after they picked up the food. It took a very long time to allocate a driver and the food was cold when it arrived. Prices are not cheap so we expected better.

We had a nice dinner here before going to a show at the Bridgewater Arts Center. It's very convenient and a lovely atmosphere of the old market building from 100 years ago. Nice stone columns and features. Good service. Food was ok.

I had lobster crab ravioli . Reminded me of been a kid sucking on a aniseed sweet. All I could taste was fennel Pasta was undercooked and the crab and lobster filling was tasteless very disappointed

Well after 8 years I decided to give this Prezzos another go and what a mistake that was . Let’s start with the positives the waitress was very nice and apologetic. Now the negatives - Caesar salad leaves were brown and days old . Lobster & crab Ravioli was dangerously under cooked and bland . Chef kept coming out of the kitchen and walking through the restaurant , sweating and looking really fed up and presumably to go to the toilet whilst we ate. And finally the chocolate cake dessert was served with not one but all its raspberry’s mouldy so sent it back . To top it all off the manager started arguing with us when we said we weren’t happy with paying all the bill. So long story short don’t waste your time or money in this sad excuse for a restaurant.

Asked politely for no cheese to be put on the burger, turned up covered in cheese! Items were cold upon arrival.

I have to say when I usually order from other restaurants the food usually arrives barely warm. This was my first time ordering form here and the food was so lovely I have now booked a table for 3 weeks time to go into the place and eat 5/5

The only decent looking restaurant in Bridgewater. Went here for Sat dinner on weekend away after searching high and low for somewhere decent looking to eat. This place looked inviting and sure enough it was. Nice and warn quiet atmosphere but with character. Service was good food was great and wine was great so a real nice experience that i would recommend to anyone

We visited on a Friday night and had a table booked for 25 people, a mixture of adults and children to celebrate my partners 40th! The restaurant was at full capacity but the atmosphere was fantastic and we could not fault anything about our evening. We preordered our food and sent through to the restaurant the night before to help out a little. The food was exceptional, the staff were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank the team enough. Everyone was super happy with food and service and it made the evening a wonderful time had by all. Thank you so much.

This is our favourite Prezzo by far. I come here very often with my daughter and we have never had a bad visit. Grazy and her team are very welcoming and passionate about the menu and making every visit memorable. This restaurant is definitely an asset to Bridgwater.

Can’t believe I paid £4.25 for the soggiest chips I’ve ever had. Bolognese was plain and garlic bread was cold.

Turned up to collect after waiting for delivery but no drivers available to collect then to be given the wrong order.

Where do I start? Cardboard food, more miss than hit service. It has been a decade since I last entered a Prezzo, l can assure you it will be my last visit. first time same on you this time, shame on me, there will not be a third time.
