Keepers Kitchen & Bar in Sedgemoor

When we entered we had hardly got through the door when this older women with glasses barked at us what did we want her whole manner was very inhospitable then told us we could only sit at this one big table as they were laying out the tables ready for Christmas and we were not able to sit in the other area either. The other staff were very friendly If this person is in charge she needs a talking to. I have worked in hospitality and if I had acted like that I would have been reprimanded.

We had paid for a three course meal and unfortunately some of the choices were unavailable so the manager Alisha was very kind and allowed us to have chives from the a la carte menu and gave us a free drink for the inconvenience. We had bit of a wait but the food was very good and plentiful. We will be back.

Avoid. Our starter arrived and after this thing deteriorated. We waitedfor 90minutes for our main course. When it arrived my marinatedchicken was totally in-edable. The chicken was burnt was do dry it was like cardboard. Picture loaded.

Not the best of experiences. V Slow service. Didn’t have enough staff working & the ones working needed to be a bit more lively/enthusiastic and with it. Felt they were just going through the motions. Chicken burger was not great and steak wouldn’t have again. It was a busy restaurant but they struggled to cope.

Staying at the Ibis hotel on a Groupon deal, which included an evening meal. We ended up up eating here both nights of our stay and the food was very good - much better than expected! Pork belly was lovely with great crackling and nice mash. Fish and chips a nd burgers were tasty although a bit overcooked. Had a problem with a steak not well cooked enough, which was dealt with quickly and professionally. Staff are very good, helpful and pleasant.
