The best Chinese in Bridgwater by far I get the fried Brocoli with fried rice side of curry sauce The place is spot on

Probably the worst Chinese I've ever had. The chow mein was so greasy it was vile. The chicken balls were minging. The chips were greasy and soggy. I could go on but it's winding me up.

Ordered squid ...it used to be lovely. Hard squid with dark edges hard batter.....so basically who knows how long that has been in the freezer.....cooked in minutes so 100% frozen....noodles horrible flavour and very sweet! How much sugar do u want to put in.... absolutely disgusting

1st time we had a takeaway from here, I found them on google. The Reviews seemed good. We weren't disappointed the food was amazing, fresh and tasty and great value. Although they are a cash only takeaway.

Went in there tonight for small Cod and Chips and they gave me 2 pieces of Cod and lots of Chips. Best tasting food in Bridgwater. I will definitely be coming here more often!! 10/10 for everything!!

Lovely chipshop and Chinese. Really friendly staff. They only take cash, but there is a card machine next door that does charge for withdrawals.

If you get the usual chinese lady then it will be fine. If you get the little English girl then you will get nothing but ignorance and more bolshy ignorance. That said the food is very good and reasonably priced. I'll be back as long as the Chinese lady is there.

Not local so had the hard task of choosing a Chinese that would be good. Landed on Welcome Kitchen and we're pleased. Very good salt and pepper chips, plenty of veg spring rolls in a portion, but the chicken foo young was very average. Would go back but for a different meal next time!

Possibly the best chinese takeaway in Bridgwater. Food has always been consistently good. Service is quick and efficient but can get busy during meal times. Cash only and public parking nearby.

Great service with a smile. Food for 4 made in 20 minutes. Really good quality of all dishes. Starter: Half duck. Mains: Lemon chicken, salt n pepper and garlic chicken, shredded beef and beef and chicken szechuan. Cannot grumble and absolutely would definitely recommend 👌 👍🏻

Best chinese we've had in bridgwater yet!

Really good food, excellent service and lovely friendly staff, our "Go to" for Chinese food in Bridgwater (the fish and chips are spot on too 🥰). It's always popular and busy, so expect to give a little leeway on waiting times for collection, even if you've ordered in advance, it's always worth the wait.

After trying the majority of Chinese’s in Bridgwater this is far the best Chinese we’ve found, well worth the visit.

I have known this place for nearly 16 years now and I have nothing but nice things to say about it ☝️🥰✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ The only tinny tiny bit not so nice is the fact that they don't take any card payments, just cash. But the good things outweigh this minor setback 😊👍

Went to the Welcome kitchen for 1st time in my life, due to a Facebook review of a D6 & lived in Bridgwater all my life on the other side of town. Wow what great flavours, so tasty & all on a budget (cut the purse strings back due to cost of living) for 3 dishes in one big dish. Loved it. Will defiantly be using from now on.

Fantastic and friendly service, lovely food.

They only accept Cash- so don’t forget There is an ATM machine right next to the shop- but at that time it was out of order. The food was delicious. One of the best Singapore Rice Noodles ever. The rice noodles were soft and delicious. Soup was spicy as requested. A quick place to taste Chinese food.

I phoned in an order for 6 lads,as we are in bridgwater fishing at the Sedges,we all had different food from the menu. All the lads said how excellent the food was.Portions were plenty and very tasty.Personally I would rate it 10 out of 10.Also food was ready for the time we ordered it for.Thank you very much Welcome Kitchen for a a great meal.

Well I must say, this was a WELCOME surprise, we stumbled across this place as was looking for something quick, nothing else was open. The food was excellent, very tasty and was freshly cooked. So had to wait a bit longer. I recommend this 1000% the staff were very helpful.

Quite possibly the slowest takeaway in Bridgwater, even pre ordering 1 hr before collection, it took another 45 minutes of being told 5 minutes for food to arrive at counter. Anyone else wondering why they are all cash only?

Pancake rolls amazing curry isnt spicy and is to sweet and the chow main ment to be dry still very wet but still nice good

Great takeaway lovy Chinese food or fab fish n chips.

Amazing customer service. Charming and homely. Was okay with me only slightly less change than needed. Beautiful place. Smells amazing. Food was amazing, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Only issue is its cash in hand and no card, BUT cash point next door. No delivery but if you can make the effort to drive or walk/cycle here you don't regret it.

First time using this Chinese as staying with a friend in Bridgwater. Absolutely stunning food. Took 15 minutes to pick up. The pepper garlic and salt ribs were to die for And there was so much of the prawn toast I had to give up 😂. Huge portions, couldn’t eat it all! Will definitely use again when staying here x

Welcome Kitchen is a revelation, the food is really tasty and is by far the best I have had in bridgwater, I could not recommend them more highly, I would particularly recommend the house special fried rice with the BBQ sauce on top, (I personally prefer it with no prawns) and there ribs fall off the bone!They have lost a point purely because of the waiting time and yes normally I wouldn't complain because good food take time to prepare, no what I mean is to allow for the delay I normally phone in an order as you do and I'm given an estimated time, now some of the time its bang on within a min or to! But other times I've gone in at there time and still had to sit and wait for another 45mins! (Normally a Friday so it could be due to the additional member of staff giving out bad information to people who order because they never seem to be that much busier)Anyway that aside its always worth the wait because the food is great...!

Ordered the set meal of spare ribs, beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, fried mixed vegetables and egg fried rice. 15 mins and it was ready . Exceptionally large portion sizes. Hot very tasty food. Polite waitress and a clean shop front. The only down side was someone whom appeared drunk eating his takeaway in the shop and spilling some of it on the floor. Not great when you're waiting for a takeaway in a fairly small area.

I went with my family to take an Afternoon Tea and It was fantastic. I recommended because you have differents teas, sandwiches, scones and pastries enough to have a great deal. And everything tastes so delicious!!!!! The entry to the Museum is for free.

Been buying from here for over 20 years, great portion sizes and value. Recently taken over and pleased there haven't been many noticeable changes and still providing great food.

I advised all people of Bridgwater and surrounding areas and villages to go to a much better managed and friendly Chinese takeaway in the town walked in and was told that I could not have what I asked for by a short woman who has no idea how to treat customers she offered me prawns that I have a allergen to and was very abrupt to me I have always used this when the previous owners had it and I will be taking my business to a Chinese that values there customers

Have always liked it here, recently changed hands and happy to say still as good as ever. Great new menu, must try the king prawn with garlic salt!!

Cuando estamos de vacaciones en Somerset, uno de los sitios chinos que utilizamos para disfrutar visitando La Cocina de bienvenida. Utilizamos para visitar aquí hace muchos Moons cuando vivimos en la zona. Esta vez, encontramos la tenían los nuevos propietarios. Fue una pena, ya que estos propietarios destruyó completamente el pescado y las patatas fritas y rollos de panqueque que pedimos. No sé por qué, pero no tenía una prenda cualquier paladar. Siento tener que decir que no volveremos.

Nos hemos alojado en este hotel dos veces desde que llevar cambiado de dueño y tengo que decir que ha sido muy bien las dos veces, mucho mejor de lo que solía ser.
