Poor, reheated, bland food. Top tip Ask to see your food before you pay Will not use again.

The chips were shocking and had I not have been so far away, I would have taken them back. They were burnt and refried but also expensive for what they were. I can’t believe they are getting away with serving such rubbish. For someone who never wastes anything, we had to throw them away!

Horrific takeaway meal from Jade Garden this evening. Firstly got home to find the sweet and sour sauce was missing from the bag. Secondly the crispy aromatic duck was burnt and like charcoal, which is all I will eat from a Chinese. The rice was also barely edible. Thirdly this has caused us to be frequently running to the bathroom soon after eating this. Our meal; Battered Chicken Balls (missing the sweet & sour sauce) Chips Egg Fried Rice Crispy Aromatic Duck / Pancakes AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs. The only thing that was good from this meal was the Chips and if we wanted those we would have just gone to Tim’s Fish Bar next door.

I Ordered duck & they put beansprout which they don’t mention on menu and also with too much sauce.The barbecue spare ribs is full of sauce which I never saw anywhere. All in all it was poor level of food. Very bland taste, needs upgrading on taste. I cannot recommend.

We always get good food here, never had a bad meal yet! Can be very busy with phone calls and trying to give your order but service is quick. There are no thrills to make a judgement on atmosphere as it is literally a case of go in, place your order, get your food and go home. We won't go to another Chinese in the town so that's a high review from us.

Very friendly people , I have used this Chinese for years and there food is so delicious , The best BBQ Sauce in town .

Foods great but the best place is never open !!! I’ve been let down twice with there random openings and closing this then makes me look elsewhere let’s hope there not better !!!

We have been getting lovely food from here for many years. It is always very good quality and very tasty. I cannot fault Jade Garden I must come and get some more food from them soon 🙂

Absolutely beautiful food, only disadvantage is you guys don’t deliver.

Just ok. Bridgwater has a poor standard for Indian and Chinese. Fried Rice was hard/dry and brown, was strange. Chow mein was odd too, unlike any I've had before, not bad just odd. Crispy chilli beef and the salt and pepper prawn was soggy not crispy. Ribs were good though. Search continues.

Salt and pepper chips aren’t on the menu but they happily do them and super yummy. No free prawn crackers with an order the only let down as it’s pretty standard on orders over a certain value.

Always Excellent food don't go anywhere else

Amazing Chinese takeaway one of my top 3 places to order. Special curry and rice taste amazing. Lady on the counter know hundreds of her customers and even knows what u may order before you ask. Top top person. Food is allways hot could to perfection. Bag and wrapped very well for the transportation home. Highly recommended.

Rice was very brown, not enough vegetables, receptionists was very blunt and distracted, when collected saw it was two young girls on there phones.

Food was very salty fried rice was overdone, overall not very nice at all.

Good Chinese though the egg fried rice is always dark brown which is a little odd.

It always has good food and the service is really good.

Speedy collection service. Phoned on Tuesday to check if open after coronavirus lockdown, took order and ready for collection in 15 minutes. 2m queuing system, contactless payment option, and screens around whole public area so felt very safe to collect. Food hot and tasty. Soon becoming busy again, with plenty of other calls coming in.

They are not on Just-Eat so quick call on Tuesday to check if the Chinese Takeaway was open again. Took order and ready to collect in 15 minutes. Pleased to see they have 2m queuing system, contactless till and screens in place on arrival. Hot food, all ready to collect and great taste, so quickly becoming busy again.

Love this place. This is my only go to place for Chinese takeaway. Friendly staff and quick service. Food is great!!!

Haven’t had a Chinese takeaway from any where for some time. Being short of time today called at jade gardens to grab a meal. Wow fantastic. Lovely sweet and sour chicken balls very fresh. The chicken and cashew nuts lovely soft chicken beautiful crunchy veg. Well done all at Jade Gardens we will be regulars

This is always my Chinese Take Away of choice, good food and sensible value. Always popular so follow the crowd .

We ordered from there last Wednesday and yes it was fast service but it was tasteless and mushy and greasy was not value for money: so wasn't amused and won't recommend them ever. The only result to eating the food from this place will give tummy upset😠

Just popped in for a takeaway as could not be bothered to go into town. Well I had a chicken curry extra hot with boiled rice & prawn crackers, it was delicious, the best I have had in Bridgwater, and reasonable price. Deffo will be back......

Called in for a takeaway after a visit to the theatre. Ordered chicken fried rice deep fried chilli beef and pork chop suey. Delivered in less than 5 mins. Hot and tasty. Clean premises and friendly staff. Can recommend

Disappointing. Used to always go here but will not visit again . Chicken satay nothing like what it should be . Chow mein and chicken curry bland .

We had a meal for 4, nice meal and enough for all. Could do with more noodles in the chow mein, too many bean sprouts.

Never had a bad meal from Jade Garden. Staff are always friendly, polite though sometimes speak a little to fast and the food is always fresh. Menu has a good choice and the kids meal is ample for me on my own.

We have only started using Jade Garden recently.....everything we have had from here has always been good....every time we go to collect our takeaway the place is always packed.....the food has always been good...no complaints from us...

Cuando nos trasladamos a la zona, pensamos que nos gustaría probar el representante tiendas de comida para llevar. Fuimos a Jade Garden y ordenados Sweet & Sour pollo, hongos Chow Mein, huevo frito arroz. El personal no es muy amable, sin bromas.

Sólo nos han utilizado este chinos, aunque las dos últimas visitas han sido terribles. La calidad ha bajado enormemente al nivel no iremos allí de nuevo. Me preguntaba por qué los rollitos de primavera sólo tenía porotos, en ellos, y dijeron que se habían nuevos proveedores. Gran error!

El personal no era amable y acogedor a la llegada y a menudo un largo tiempo en salir de la cocina y te saludan.

Very disappointed for the second time in as many weeks. Have been coming here for years, they must have changed staff because it's no longer good. Cheap ingredients used to bulk out meals and avoid using meat. My favourite chilli beef is now half sliced onions. First time I thought they were just having an off day but second time was just as bad I had lemon chicken looked like nuggets. Save your money.

cant tell you anything good about our takeaway. In Fact we threw nearly all of it in the bin.We ordered salt and chilli ribs, this should have been advertised as gristle and bone shards as this is a more accurate description.We also had beef chow mein, this was charred noodles with tiny beef pieces and very little else.The egg fried rice we had was dark brown in colour, rock solid in the tub and tasted awful.Really disappointing and shall not be returning!!!

Whenever we have Chinese takeaway it's always from Jade Garden. The food is always very good, husband's favourite is their house special curry. My favourite is the sweet & sour chicken but I can't eat it all so I have the children's one. More my portion size.We have always found the staff polite friendly & helpful.

Ordered take away, got home, to find 1 dish missing, Called to advise was missing, Attitude was was very bad, basically did not believe us. I have better things to do than findle them of 1 Rice.Anyway, due to bad attitude we will never use them again, there are a huge number of take awaysBig Mistake Jade Garden ... learn to respect your customers ... they will keep comming back

We have used this take away numerous times. It's ashame they don't deliver but they don't need to I guess. Their food is so good people go to them out of choice. Keep up the good work :-)

I'd had a hard week at work and still had the Saturday & Sunday to work so my fella decided to get a Chinese. Saving me the effort of cooking ;) We have eaten here on many occasions and always enjoyed it. Only this time it was a little different. I had eaten half of my meal and decided to put the rest on my plate. I emptied the rice and then the meat etc. The rice came out in the same shape as the tub so I used my fork to break it up..... Only to find an earwig!!! Sick wasn't the word!!! I was looking for the telephone number so that I could ring them, but my fella told me we would go down and show them. (as it is only around the corner)When we got there, I made it fairly clear that I was unhappy to the chap that was serving and then the owner came out. So I explained this to her too. To which her reply was.... 'You have put this in there' I was disgusted as I was stood in the take away in my pj's!! I would never walk out of the house in my pj's. I had actually not paid attention to the fact that I had my pj's on!! And then she tried to take the earwig off the plate as she did not want me to have it as evidence. It took about 15 minutes to get a refund!!! And the owner did NOT apologise!!! I am sending the earwig off to trading standards so that no one else suffers like me! I am now unable to look at Chinese let alone eat it!!!
