The best restaurants in Cheddar and Shipham Sedgemoor South West

We got a very tasty takeaway from here whilst we were staying on holiday. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant also looked nice to eat in.

Our first stop on a lush evening.. Great choice of local ciders and ales and along with an amazing beer garden with views to die for - what more could you ask for. Such a shame that this has now closed down

Purchased a box of 6 for £19.00, mixed flavours for a birthday treat. 4 out of five were dry and tasted nothing like description. Black Forest, Marshmallow, 2 x Coffee and salted caramel (too much salt). We all had one bite and left the rest. Shame as they looked nice . Biscoff was the best and salted caramel.

Brilliant food, service was great. Would recommend.

This is a small cafe with a big heart. Run by volunteers. We had coffee and homemade cake. Well worth a visit.

Lack of check backs, very slow service. One of the meals had obviously been microwaved to heat it up. The side of chips when finally brought out, were either undercooked or the thin ones were like cardboard and inedible. When the table was cleaned only those who had cleared their plates were asked. With regards the chips/ microwaved meal I have never seen plates cleared so fast no questions asked regarding the fact that most of the meal and side hadn't been eaten Very disappointed

Great choice of cider, friendly staff, just the right place to drop in after a day of shopping at Clark's Village. And it's not expensive 😂

Great place. Lots of ciders. Local ones if you fancy trying some new and some commercial ones too. Food is simple and hot. If you like eating in Michelin star restaurants then forget it! If you are a normal person looking for sensible priced beer and grub then you will love it!

Lovely location, great staff, and an amazing array of cocktails . I would highly recommend a visit if you're in Cheddar.

Super friendly cafe in a perfect spot for sitting amongst the Gorge scenery - tried the Cheddar ice cream, it was definitely a taste sensation for cheese lovers :-)

A really lovely vibe in this cafe, beautiful display of food and lots of choice. Friendly staff to boot and the West Country Cider Chutney is delicious - so lovely I had to buy a pot to take home. Not the cheapest but you can tell they use quality ingredients and so well worth it!

I had hike in the gorge and was lucky enough to get a seat ( booking advisable). The food, service and innovation were a step above. This is one of best Indian restaurants that I have been to and I will come back with my family for a special occasion.

This small cafe really surprised me, food was fantastic and waitress was friendly. Jacket potato looked a bit different than usually, but it was delicious and what a astonishing vegetable soup. Must try! Ham in a sandwich was flavorful, perfect I might say!
