Great selection of ciders, didn't have food but it looked nice.

Funky place, lots of fun, lots of cider and great pizzas and ploughmans.

Awesome place if you like music from the 1960s and 70s, live music, a warm welcome, dogs, rustic decor, pool table. This was the most excitement I had on our week's stay camping in Cheddar. Happy memories re-ignited. Buffalo Springfield, Don Mac Clean, America, Louis Armstrong, etc. I'm sure there's more available. Soon as you walk in, it's warm and cosy. Not so many seats. Tables outside front and back. Food incl Plaughman's lunch to Pizza and Chilli Con Carne etc. The odd larger and the odd real ale, plenty of ciders. Go back in time at The Cider Barn. Be a Rascal at £4.20.

Very friendly staff! When the pub is busy believe it or not, the staff are also busy serving. I see comments on here saying the staff are rude and not welcoming. That's not true. Be mindful before you leave a review. I've attached the menu's so you can have a look. The food is fresh and delicious 😋 the food can take a while but it is all made fresh per order (which is worth the wait). Music is on Sundays at 5pm. Every musician is amazing and creates an amazing atmosphere. The pub is popular with the locals which means there are locals inside, but what do you expect from a pub? The locals are lovely and so are their dogs 🐕 everyone seems to respects each other. The food and drinks are cheap so what's to go wrong? I'm definitely recommending this place to my friends 😊

We nipped in here on the way back to Mendip Hill. It's on a main road so it's easy to miss. I loved the Dad's Man Cave' vibe in The Cider Barn and the atmosphere was great. We sat in the garden and had pizza which was yummy. It also gave me a chance to sample local cider which is a MUST if that's your tipple! When we left we saw a group of bikers arrive, who looked like they were right at home!

Great place. Always a friendly welcome and a nice selection of drinks at the bar. Great food, especially the homemade pizzas! We always try to pay a visit here when on holiday in Cheddar. A unique rustic appearance with that welcoming charm about it.

We walked from our holiday let in Draycott based on our hosts' recommendation. The staff and locals made us very welcome and helped me sample a progressively stronger selection of local ciders to good effect 😉 I ate the homemade Chilli with chips at the suggestion of a local and it was hot and hearty as promised. This place is a great advert for Somerset hospitality and the phrase, "Don't judge every book by it's cover" Therein lies a heart of cider 🍺gold 🪙

Great place, very good pizzas great music on Sunday evening

Had a wonderful day out with some residents from fletcher house. The services was second to none and the food was just amazing too. They do amazing ciders but it’s all great here. Kirsty and Jason were great and made us feel completely at home. We are definitely huge fans of this place and I’m so impressed! Recommend to anyone. The prices are amazing and so are the people!

Went to see a band on Sunday . Great atmosphere friendly staff and customers. Good beer and cider. Tex Braithwaite and the biryani brothers was a very entertaining band.

We visited the cider barn last weekend and it did not disappoint. Everyone from staff, locals, cyclist and visitors were super friendly. The food was amazingly dirty fries and ploughman's. We will be back.

Lovely quiet place to have a nice Cider, plenty on offer and lots of seating available inside and out.

We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day on our holidays. The pub is covered in quirky decor. The cider is cider but there is other drinks and the food yummy. The food was very good value I had the pizza which was tasty and my husband had the biggest ever bowl of chips and cheese we had ever seen! It is also dog friendly.

Very convenient just beyond the current end of the Strawberry Line (soon to be extended). Large selection of cider for varying palletes. Huge ploughman's to tempt the taste buds, other food also available.

My partner and I enjoyed our time in the Cider Barn. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. In fact they made an effort to make the customers laugh. The service is quick, and pleasant Overall we had a pleasant experience and we definitely coming back and recommend it. P. S. If you are a StarWars fan you will love it there .

Loved this place. Everyone from the staff to the locals and the gorgeous dogs were very friendly. The Pizza and dirty fries were amazing! Pool table, good tunes and great atmosphere. We stayed in an adjoining field in our camper for £15 a night, £20 if you want hookup. Definitely recommend this place.

Service wasn't very friendly. Let's just say that if you're not English, and by that I mean white English you won't be very welcomed here. What was more surprising was that this wasn't said as soon as we walked in. Food was fresh however. Not much variety and more bar food/snacks. Would not recommend or visit again. Would drive around and find something else instead for both drinks and food.

We love it here. Staff are really friendly, the food is great, brilliant ciders on tap, the music on a Sunday evening is fantastic, everyone is having a good time. Can't recommend enough. See you soon.

Brilliant place. We have just had a takeaway pizza and onion rings. Lovely (thanks Dan). Great atmosphere, full of friendly locals. You are made to feel very welcome.

Love this place we came up from the Isle of wight to camp near by. love the ciders and the locals I did the reaper pizza challenge dod it 5 mins and bought loads of take out double fermented hedgers cider which is the best will be coming back as soon as possible Added we have gone back after year still love the place

This place is great! Live music, delicious pizza and loads of cider. There is also a pool table, outdoor seating and an indoor fire so perfect for all times of the year. 10/10 experience from me

The Cider Barn. What an amazing place to come for a knees up. Live music regularly, a great selection of ciders and fabulous food. The atmosphere here on a live night is just off the scale. They never fail to impress.

Food ok, sat in a tent on the side of the property. Unfortunately people were smoking in there - didn't think that was legal, but we just ate up and left

Great place for chilled food and drink. A group of us ate and drank here for a few hours yesterday. Dog and child friendly, plus it has a pool table.

We stopped here on our way to a campsite near Cheddar for some takeaway ciders. The young lady serving was extremely helpful and gave us good advice and tasters for many of the ciders available to match our tastes. She even insisted on carrying some of our ciders to our camper, what a star. We meet the owner, who is also a great character and extremely friendly. If only we lived closer, this would be our local. If you have a camper caravan or motorhome their is a small basic camping field nearby that I believe you can pay for at the bar so you can enjoy an evening in the cider barn and stumble back to your camper, so that's our next weekend out sorted. In all, a great place to buy ciders and for an evening out.

Excellent pizza, warm hospitality in a very relaxed environment. The name tells you a lot. Great range of ciders in a former barn. We enjoyed our visit and I'm happy to recommend it.

Nice place for drinks , very friendly and handy place to stop over for the night in a campervan

Had a pint and a half of the local cider (was driving, but would've had a bit more, if not). There was a good selection: dry, sweet, carbonated and not. Friendly service and the place has a real 'road house' and 'biker' feel to it. Does good pizzas too I noted, and the Ploughman's other guests ordered, looked awesome! Sadly, I wasn't hungry at the time 👍

Rustic charm with Local Cider made by Mr Hedges. Fantastic atmosphere filled with a good crowd of people. Food was a mix of pizza, chilli ect. Have got a chilli pizza challenge, free pizza if you eat it in 6.30 seconds, no rolling... We didn't try it, it's on our next visit thing to do. Live band added to good vibe of this place. Will be going back.

We visited the cider barn most days, Jason and the whole crew are amazing. Always a very warm welcome. It was steak night, Thursday my god miss this and you will never forgive yourselves. First day staying close by and we ventured into the cider barn for lunch, came back for tea as it’s such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food is lovely… had a barn veggie pizza which was lovely. Dog friendly pub and the local dogs are just as friendly as the staff. We’ll be back before the week is out

Staying at Rodney Stokes Camping. They recommended the Cider Barn and is only a 30 minuet walk to it. Food is superb, and although a small selection of drinks it is very well priced. Definitely not from a scene from the film Deliverance!!??

Fantastic pizza and fun atmosphere. Very good cider as well. I wish we had found this place at the start of our break. They had a quiz night which we missed out on but we will be back.

What a gem this place is. Excellent food, excellent service, I only had a pint of coke, but I expect the beer is excellent too. Great vibes, we will go back tonight for a pint and live music. There's parking, they're dog friendly and there is a log burner lit. What's not to love.

I liked the rural feeling and layout of this bar. I was only drinking cider so I can't comment on food. I was surprised to see my favourite Thatchers cider ( Rascal) on tap there. I visited in the afternoon so I can't say what it's like at night.

Didn't realise it was a cider barn as was looking to purchase some Pale Ale. But went inside and then decided to stay for a few ciders. (Wife drove me back to camp site). Staff were very friendly and I liked the fact you take you're dog in there. Would frequent this place again if I'm ever back in the area.
