This is a small cafe with a big heart. Run by volunteers. We had coffee and homemade cake. Well worth a visit.

Lenny's is run and staffed by volunteers, with all profits donated to a different charity every month. Open Mon - Thurs from 11.00 to 15.00 it is a friendly, well run eatery. It also opens Saturday mornings to provide bacon roll breakfasts. All food and cakes are prepared by village volunteers. The menu is limited but is good, and includes homemade soups, chilli, lasagna, and toasties, plus salads, desserts, and a great variety of cakes. Takeaway is also available, if you're in a hurry. During the summer months, outdoor seating is available, and Lenny's supplies cream teas for the village fete. Their Xmas lunches are always fully booked. Highly recommended for a warm welcome, and well worth supporting.

Walking the West Mendip Way, we stopped at the cafe to get sandwiches for the following day. Nothing was too much trouble, the sandwiches were great, but even better was the crac while we were waiting.

Visited this amazing little café when me and the heavily pregnant wife wanted to get out and have a afternoon lunch in a local country cafe and this was an option as I know Shipham locally so decided to pop by. Amazing little place but bare in mine very limited seating, I believe in the summer you can sit outside on the picnic benches. Menu is small but very adequate, and also amazing on price, we both enjoyed what we ate and drank and the atmosphere was amazing, both women serving were lovely and all other guests were nice to chat to aswell. Really happy and we will be back (with baby no less, next time!!)

Very small "call in" café. Menu has home made soup, things on toast and home made cakes. Volunteers help out to make funds for St Leonard's Church. Nice people run it.

There are places you find that are like discovering an old friend, one that reminds you of the importance of sociability, warmth, heart and soul. Lenny' is like that, you walk in and it greets you like a hug! A cafe with heart, friendliness, excellent community spirit with a concept that serves a wider community through charitable donations. Excellent! One of my new favourite places, but don't tell to many people because it's only small but if you get there and get to join in, enjoy, it's one of the West country's best kept secrets!

I was very surprised to find this cafe right next to the canal. I really liked the breakfasts as they were homemade and in good quantity. They have cakes and pastries and the coffee is very good. The waitresses were lovely and I was impressed that they are animal friendly, allowing dogs to come in and sit on the chair with their owners. También estuve otro día en una cena en el mismo sitio , en un espectáculo cómico. Hay car park para ir en coche
