This used to be our fave coffee shop in the area. Changed hands a while back and weâve given it a few shots to impress but it hasnât, so wonât be going back. First ordered toasties and coffee to go. Coffees arrived but food took so long the hot coffees were cold. My daughter ordered an iced coffee and it looked nothing like the drink sheâd had there previously and tasted and looked like the coffee shot had been forgotten. Mentioned this to the girls making the coffees who spoke to a lady that I believe is the owner. She basically said thatâs how we make them if you donât like it we,ll put a shot in but it will be 1.50 extra. I explained I didnât think it had been made right but they were borderline rude to be honest. Went back in recently for a couple of banana breads and a couple of coffees. (Flat white and mocha) Pretty gobsmacked that this was ÂŁ16.50. Waited for the bread and the girl serving walked past and literally threw the box of bread on the table in front of us. No words, no smile. As a comparison we went to the incredible bigwigs bakery the next day had the friendliest swift service, 2 of the same coffees and delicious homemade praline pastry and a huge sausage toastie to dine in for ÂŁ15.10. Coffee saloon is overpriced and unfriendly

We have paid around ÂŁ140 for the room and generally for this amount of money I would personally expect a different standard. Bathroom was clean and staff very professional. The downside is that the hotel, from my point of view is in desperate need of updating , especially as it's potential is amazing. Is placed in a great location. There is rust on the radiators, the window lock was broken and you can feel the cold air coming from outside as the window didn't close properly. There are marks and scratches on furniture, which yes, I know it happens but if you want to stand up for the level or standard you can be and advertise you are, there some improvements to be made. From the window if we looked left we could see the sea which was great, bit if you look left you can see the outside of the building and rooms, grey and full of mould... Again, could be awesame, but it needs refurbishment. Will I stay here again? Probably not, as there are other places which offer a more accurate price to actual value of the hotel.

Baffi Canford Cliffs is a true gem! The authentic Neapolitan pizza is absolutely deliciousâperfectly cooked with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether youâre after a relaxed dinner or a casual lunch, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

We booked a table for 12 in August for my daughters birthday.. total disaster.. terrible service! .. took half an hour before we were offered any drinks or even a menu.. took another 20 minutes until they took the order... other 20 minutes still no drinks or our food orders taken which by the way was set menus .. so not hard... drinks some forgotten others wrong had to tell the waiter 3x At this point my patience was running out.. but we were a large party and at this time in the evening we really had no other options but to endure this đȘ s... show until the end. .. the atmosphere.. another example the lightning in there was up so much it was like shopping in a 90s New look store or being in a collapsed super nova.. we asked if they could maybe turn it down a bit.. which they declined... When the food eventually came out the portion sizes were small and were poor quality.. .. the crispy shredded beef was so chewy we couldn't eat it.. the sauce that was poured over it seemed to be maple syrup. None of the staff came over to check on our meals.. asked if we needed any more drinks ?.. i observed them mostly talking to themselves .. twice members of our table had to go over to them to get there attention they seemed totally oblivious to what was going on around the restaurant. It wasn't very busy so there was no excuse for this... We asked for the bill which we requested to be spilt .. this is the one and only time we saw the manager.. he appeared quickly telling us this was not possible and too Complicated to do... we just wanted to pay and leave. On the way out one of the waiters had the front to say 'have a nice evening'.. to which i quickly responded i will now this is over with!. I will never return here again.. there using the reputation from the old Ocean Place that used to be at West Cliff.. trust me this place is nothing like it.. The hotel and veiws over the bay are why people are lured in. Overpriced.. poor service.. terrible food.. bad atmosphere.. avoid at all costs!.

Very sad the Harbour Heights is a good hotel but lacking in disabled access for rooms. Temporary building access only but no wet room. This is not encouraging for the disabled community. A good hotel but still living in the 20th century. Come on management start serving the disabled community.

Service slow and food wasnât great, pork loin was tough and couldnât eat it, the mash potatoes tasted suspiciously from a freeze dried packet and everything on the plate was very garlicky. Over priced and wouldnât recommend, sadly.
