Caff Breakfast Kitchen in Poole

Stopped by this cafe for an ice-cream and a bottle of water. It was about closing time with few customers inside. It does looked cramped and its along the same parade as Rick stein’s restaurant. The prices are a-bit steep for its type but considering the area, it’s got to keep up. I wouldn't eat here though for personal reasons.

Very nice ambience, with a lovely terrace facing the main road. I've ordered a tuna melt toastie which was delicious. My husband loved his coffee which was excellent.

If you visit Sandbanks this Cafe is worth looking out for. Really lovely service and good food. The burger was really good, as was the Vanilla Milk Shake. Would return if in the area.

Nicely situated small café just across from Sandbanks beach car park. Decent fresh orange juice to cool down after a cycle round the peninsula and Lilliput.

An absolutely delightful cafe - very efficient and welcoming staff. The carrot cake is the best we've tasted. Also.dog friendly - can highly recommend.

The food was good, the staff was amazing always checking in with you, a very nice small place unique with an early welcoming charm quite busy for such a small place, I'll say quite local and very hospitable.

I had numerous fantastic breakfasts here while on holiday in Sandbanks. The food was excellent and staff were delightful. Even though it was high season and very busy they were always accommodating. Would highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. Can't wait to go back.

I’m a 9 year old girl and i went to the caff for my lunch and it was AMAZING 🤩 SO GOOD!!!!!anywaywe walked in welcomed by a waitress that led us to our comfy table we were a family of four I was with my brother and parents. We ordered our drinks and food. I ordered a hotdog and chips after a big decision on whether to have a toasty, pancakes or porridge and obviously a hotdog my brother got the porridge with a mix of different berries in it and icing sugar sprinkled over it. My mum had a steak sandwich and my dad had a chicken club sandwich. For our drinks I had a delicious smoothie so did my dad and my brother had a freshly squeezed orange juice, (so good ), and them my mum had a coffee. The waiters were a delight and the food was exquisite. I highly recommend it also if you wanted pudding there was a Mr Whippy ice cream machine I was in love there is other options to for dessert as well. The waiters were so kind and helpful it was amazing they were calm and the service was great 👍 and to top it off my family would probably write the same review or more upgraded. (Also everything on the menu can be a takeaway)😃

Great place for a really good quality English breakfast. Great welcome, great service, great coffee right by the beach. The place was absolutely packed last Friday morning at around 1030 and frankly is it any surprise ?! So rare to find somewhere like this in England that is good value and just isn't trying to rip you off. Thank you !

Great food, but the place gets absolutely rammed and is very chaotic. Two stars knocked off for charging 40p per slice of lemon, with either Earl Grey tea or in sparkling water. I have never been anywhere in the world where a slice of lemon carries a separate charge AND you are not advised when ordering. I will check next time if they have introduced a charge for ice...

Perfect place to stop and have a bite to eat, food is amazing, staff so attentive.

Walked in and staff looked unhappy. A young girl moodily told us where to sit. Felt rushed as we think they wanted to close, however never told us this. Staff talked loudly about customers and counted down the time until they could close in front of us within earshot. Food was okay, nothing special but very overpriced. When asking for the bill the young girl rushed to get it so they could close sooner. Found out after we left that they don’t even close until 4:30 even though they were counting down making us feel uncomfortable just before 4. Wouldn’t recommend. Not a nice atmosphere

Great food, great service. Lovely spot for brunch. Please do ask questions if you are celiac. Due to their small kitchen, almost all items on the menu are cross contaminated. The bread is toasted in a shared toaster, so the toast is not gluten free despite it saying this on the menu, and the griddle is shared with gluten and non gluten items. The only truly gluten free option seemed to be a jacket potato, which was not quite what I had in mind for brunch! Once they were aware of my celiac, the staff were very helpful and the chef even remade my jacket as he couldn't remember which knife he used to cut it. Just make sure to ask, but don't expect many options. I would have gone elsewhere given the lack of options, but was in a big group.

Food was very good, I found the cola served as a can with a metal beaker rather odd though. Either serve a can or a glass, not both and not a steel beaker!

This is a superb little family run café. The staff are so attentive and the décor is quirky and fresh. We visited on Mothers Day and had the most wonderful brunch with our family (6 adults and 2 children). We had a range of food and it was all great, a truly lovely experience and huge thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well.

Been coming here for many years, but this weekend was our last. We were made to feel like second rate citizens for not wanting to sit at the tiny table in the thoroughfare, which was blasted with cold air every time the door opened…and was left open. “We are expecting a rush” (which never actually came I might add!) Service from two miserable young waitresses who looked as if they would rather be anywhere else. In today’s market, establishments need to go above and beyond…Caff is trading on its location…not service or standards. That will be our last time there…end of an era, but I want to enjoy my breakfasts, not be made to feel unwelcome.

Lovely late lunch in warm surroundings and great food is how I sum this up! Great service, sensibly priced. Had mix of salads and sandwiches and couldn't let a price of the carrot cake miss my stomach. No idea where all the rude reviews came from staff couldn't have been friendlier in a very busy lunch spot.

Every time we visit Sandbanks, always stop here for breakfast or lunch or both 😆. Food is always fresh and tasty, with no frozen food here, and always tastes like farm bought food of a high standard. Also, I ALWAYS have a decent coffee. They actually do a proper cappuccino, Lots of FOAM, not like a latte like other places do it. It's a small restaurant so it can sometimes be busy but it is worth it. Wide range on menu. Staff super friendly, and you feel like you have been there loads of times before as they make you feel so welcome.

There were a few spare tables remaining however I was told if I was to come in then I would have to fold my pram away. When I advised my child was asleep in the pram the lady then said I could not dine there. Really unaccommodating and felt like I was being penalised because I had a pram. Awful service.

Breakfast just about every which way you want it, but given the time of day we opted for just toasted sandwiches which were very tasty. The coffees (lattes) were about the best we've had in a long time! Rich-roasty! Nice stop on a very wet walk from Bournemouth to Sandbanks and back again. Our second visit on consecutive New Year's Days.

Came in for a late brunch and was not disappointed. The staff was great and the food on point. Avocado Sweet Chili was the right combo of flavor. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely cafe. We ordered the full English breakfast. Good quality sausage and bacon. We had a hot chocolate, to accompany the breakfast. Good quality hot chocolate. Most importantly, for us. It is Dog friendly. Definitely will be visiting again. Xx

I've had breakfast there a number of times. Always top quality. Food is freshly made so don't expect Wetherspoons speed. It's worth the wait! Lovely!!!

Tried to have a breakfast this morning. Wanted a cooked breakfast with scrambled eggs instead of a fried egg. Was told by the very nice waitress that the cook wouldn’t change the type of egg, even though there’s scrambled eggs on the menu. Finished our drinks and left to find another restaurant. Arrogant cook

My son and family were in Dorset at the same time as me and my wife, this week. We called here for a spot of lunch. The food was excellent, as was the rapid service. I have to say that I had a banana milkshake - the best I have ever tasted. Having declined to pay £27.50 for fish and chips in Exmouth the day before, I expected the prices to be sky high - considering the Sandbanks location. I have to say I was genuinely stunned at how reasonable they were. I would not hesitate to return. The staff were nothing less than brilliant.

Absolutely fantastic as ever!! Such a great atmosphere in there, the service is always fantastic, the servers are amazing and OMG the food! This week I came in on Saturday 28th - it was extremely busy but every person/ customer was dealt with such finesse and of course they are all so friendly! I also came in today 2nd June, again extremely busy but still fab! There was a new server who I think is called Rosie (I am really sorry if it is different) they had black hair, amazing smile, personality and aura. They treated every customer (including the dogs) with such excitement and was genuinely interested in you. Then later on in the day we were passing on the street and she stopped to say “Hello” as she recognised us from earlier - such a genuine lovely person!

I was in a quandary on how many stars to give the Caff but decided on 1 because I was so horrified (strong word but true) that my takeaway was presented in a polystyrene/foam box. At the seaside for goodness sake. I thought this unrecyclable packaging had been pretty much banned. Even my local chippy doesn’t use it any more. The food and service was really really good so it’s such a shame. If I’d seen that the foam trays were being used I’d have stopped them. Grrrrr.

Visited this morning , as soon as we came in was greeted by a very happy lady , she said we could seat anywhere . Menu looked lovely , this is a dog friendly restaurant. Gentlemen came over to take our order . Food was amazing , gets very busy in this place . Lovely staff , lovely food . Plenty of parking across the road and down the street. Would definitely come back when visiting again.

Tribal services!!!! The lady was super rude to me when I came in to ask if I could have a seat for coffee breakfast and sit with my laptop for an hour. She said she will move me if it gets busy when she had one table occupied inside and one man sits at the front. I then asked if I could sit on the soft seats and she said no and that she will need to kick me out if it gets busy so I asked how she could could do that while I was eating my breakfast. I went up to be served and she told me to sit down someone will serve me and they never did for ages so I walked out. Not a very welcoming place, very disappointing especially when you pay £2.75 per hour to park

Me and my partner took a trip down to the lovely sandbanks beach for a walk in the sunshine and stumbled across caff on our way back to the car. We were greeted by the lovely staff and sat down outside promptly. The service was quick and we both had the blt’s which were delicious accompanied by a generous portion of chips. Reasonably priced for the location. Would go back. Would recommend.

Staff unfortunately let this place down. Very polite and friendly at the table but a friend asked for water and was turned down with an incredibly rude response and this never arrived.

Had a quick snack !!! Huge too, set us up for the rest of the day.. A must to return.👍

Certainly popular, if a bit cramped outside for 3 MAMILs who've seen better days! Lovely coffee, plus I note they have a tap outside for thirsty dogs which is a plus for hot, dry days.

Going to Sandbanks and looking for somewhere good to eat, then definately pay a visit to " The Caff" awesomely freshly cooked Breakfasts. Try The " Club sandwich" One of my favorites, yes this place takes alot of beating, very clean & tidy, and Super Friendly Staff, This Establishment is well worthy of 5***** 's.

Real shame as it is a local business in a perfect location. Waitress was extremely rude on a number of occasions & food was good to be fair but overpriced. Wouldn’t return because of this experience now, always enjoyed it until now.

Busy little cafe and I was lucky to get a seat both times I have visited. Caff burger both times, thick meaty & juicy with salad and relish, toasted bun and small portion of French fries. Top notch food. Tables cleaned in between customers.

Went in for a coffee. The staff ignored us until I eventually asked if I needed to order at the counter -found the staff very unfriendly. The staff were handling food without gloves. A table was cleared and the cups and plates were washed under a tap with a sponge but no washing up liquid etc. Wouldn’t go there again!

Walked in today to get a takeaway coffee. One of the staff members took my order and told me to wait inside. I was standing out of the way and another staff member (a young girl) saw me standing there and she rolled her eyes at me. After few seconds she came over and said “Oh my god, can you stand outside?”. Will never visit again! Never seen staff being this rude to a customer before!

Awful awful awful ! Went in on a quiet Monday and they said we couldn’t have a booth as it was only for large groups so we sat on the hard plastic chairs, then 5 mins later a couple walked in and they let them sit straight in the booth …. Felt like our food order was an inconvenience, didn’t actually get what we ordered, looks like this is the norm now, do yourself a favour and go next door don’t waste your time or money

Went to The Caff for breakfast. Lovely location. I had granola and eggs with avocado. The food was nice. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. But nothing special neither. As per the location I can only imagine the rent must be horrendous and it reflects on the prices. I think the place needs a bit of attention, maybe renovation. And we were not exactly happy with the service.
