The Caff is busy, why because it is excellent. Food exceptional, staff greet with a smile and the chef's, who don't have time to look up turn out brilliant food all the time.

I have been going to this lovely cafe for a few years and always found it very welcoming, friendly with excellent quality food. It was always good value for money with well presented well cooked dishes. Unfortunately over the last year the standard of food has gone steadily downhill. We visited last week and were served a very tired and limp toasted sandwich with no garnish at all, As well as a very small and unappetising breakfast bap. Perhaps it was an off day but this slide of standards has become sadly noticeable. The prices are high for a cafe as well. The staff are slow to take your order and can be offhand. There can be a lot of dogs crammed into a very small space which often get jumpy and bark. There is so little space that dogs often encroach into your space. Perhaps people with large dogs should sit outside?! It’s a cozy cafe I just hope it can bring its food and service standards back up.

Myself and some friends were out having a walk and we thought we would stop in for a drink and maybe some food. We did all have our pushchairs so we were going to sit outside but it wasn’t busy at all so we went on in. From the start we felt unwelcome! We lined our prams up so they wouldn’t be in the way of passes by, but one of the waitresses tutted at this. The male server with curly longish hair was the most unwelcoming person I’ve come across and shouldn’t work within the general public at all. He wouldn’t really look at us, and was just blunt and rude whilst talking to us. It felt like we weren’t good enough to be there. The only friendly person with the other man working wearing classes (we assumed he owned the place) he actually interacted with us and our babies. Food wise the smoothie I had was lovely, and I had crumpets but these were priced at £5 for just two small crumpets! They need to review this. I’ve been other places and I’ve been charged less for larger crumpets! But even if I had loved the food, I wouldn’t ever return! Manners and service mean everything to a restaurant and sadly this place doesn’t have either. Such a shame.

It looked nice & the other staff were very friendly but the owner who was strutting around as if he were incredibly important was just such a rude little man. We were a group of 10 well turned out polite and smiley customers ready & willing to spend good money in his cafe he greeted us at the door looked us all up and down disapprovingly as if he were chewing a wasp and said maybe we should walk on to find somewhere else. Some of our party bought a take away coffee despite his disgusting customer service and spoke to the staff, they whispered under their breath that he is rude to everyone and not to take it personally. I honestly do not know how some people keep a business like this going, customer service is everything. This place would be great ... without him! Well done to the rest of the staff team for keeping this place going, you guys are clearly good at biting your tongues!

My wife and I were staying at Sandbanks and I liked the look of this Cafe for breakfast as it was a short walk from our accommodation. The Caff is a quirky place to meet and enjoy breakfast. The staff were engaging without being overbearing. We were served Fruit juices which were fresh and lovely Lattes before our fully English breakfast arrived. The breakfast was excellent, not greasy. Produce appeared to be very fresh and tasty especially the Mushrooms. The menu was excellent and we had a number of other options which all appealed to our taste. These included Poached Eggs and smashed Avocado, Salmon and Scrambled Eggs to name just a couple of choices. Excellent food at a reasonable price. No screaming children.

Visited yesterday after a walk along the beach from the nearby hotel where we were staying. We enjoyed the whole experience of lunch at this cafe. Staff were really welcoming and attentive but not overly so. The menu had a good range of choices to suit all appetites including vegetarians. The option to have a glass of chilled wine was nice and made it feel like a purport holiday lunchtime treat. To eat we shared a hot dog and a steak & onion sandwich, with fries. The steak was absolutely freshly cooked to order. We asked for it rare (which I was surprised would be accommodated as an option as some places won’t do it), needless to say it was cooked perfectly rare and this elevated the sandwich to the next level of yum! It looked and tasted great. Overall we both agreed that it had been a good choice to stop there for lunch. I’d go again next time I’m in the area.

Why can't a cafe make a decent coffee? Why do customers have to explain how to make this simple drink? Mine was worse than a motorway Costa. Nearly all milk, zero coffee flavour, too hot and smothered in chocolate powder. And the cup was too full. I sell domestic coffee machines - it's not difficult guys. Coffee on my last visit was fine.

Saw this cafe the other day but brought a Luke warm coffee elsewhere. We decided to give them a try today. Nice and clean with friendly staff who had banter but not so it impacted on your visit. My husband is quite critical but could find nothing to moan about. Freshly cooked breakfast with good quality products and actually hot coffee. He demolished the lot. I had a toasted cheese and tuna sandwich crammed full of filling. Well done if any friends down this way would recommend.

Whilst away for the weekend we spotted this whilst bussing passed post wedding en route to a boat trip - simple decor yet 'Caff' caught my attention. The following day we were due to meet other 'guests' for the ubiquitous post ceremony/event stroll - unfortunately due to traffic/weather/hangovers/wifi everybody else was rather late. Given that we'd spotted this place we decided we'd grab a quick coffee - take away was available and more importantly good! Upon finally being joined by said friends and revellers and walking along a blustery but beautiful Sandbanks stretch of beach we returned to Caff for lunch. It has a feint American diner feel in decor, simple monochromatic interior, decking outside area [sadly onto the main road but this allows for the interior being less congested]. In such places - tiled, sparse decor - it is easy to notice how clean an establishment is kept and given they are open to the elements it was impressive. The service was good; a hospitable, enthusiastic young crew aided by an older gent whom oversaw the action - possible proprietor. Food was good also and reasonably priced; decent portions with both our Chicken Caesar salad and Battered Cod & Chips. Caff has an alcohol licence and a beer [San Miguel?] was duly consumed to assist the rehydration. Brief synopsis - on a weekend venture to an unfamiliar place on the morning after the wedding before, this was a perfect find. Had we been visiting Bournemouth or Poole for other reasons, I'd still have hoped to have found it.

Simple but homely food, I had a cheese and ham toasty served with a mustardy saucy filling with the filling!! Difficult to describe but very tasty and welcoming. Good price. The decor here is lovely, Norwegian wood theme with deer at the moment but I understand they will ring the changes with the seasons. Very comfortable for me as a lady on my own and comforting too was the tv on the wall up high, not intrusive but gave me something to watch rather than twiddle my thumbs.I like to people watch and although I gained the window table, the decorative strip along the window is at just the height to stop you being able to see out without either standing or crouching down!! I know the idea is to give privacy to diners, but I think that is more for their parent restaurant, Cafe Shore.....although Im sure some of their clients have no problem with being seen either!I whiled a very pleasant hour here before heading out for my even colder walk home.I look forward to returning. There is a chaotic atmosphere in the cafe, but the food still arrives and is well cooked and good quality. It seems to be very popular with locals and visitors alike, as it was very busy on the occasions we were there.

This place is a little gem. We ate breakfast here and it was very hot and really nicely presented. The staff were all very young but very efficient and I would definitely return if I stayed in this area again

Firstly was ignored. Lots of confusion over order. Food was plonked down eventually. did not clear previous customers dirty glasses from our table or offer to wipe down. Food was below average. amazing givn the area and potential. Cleanliness not great either.

This is a gem, situated two doors from Cafe Shore this is a greasy spoon with style!!The food is good, the service a bit greasy spoon but acceptable, the view is non-existant but if I lived on Sandbanks (and I used to, but thankfully don't any more) and I'd paid the very high prices that properties there command, then I'd take my morning stroll up the La Cafe, buy a newspaper from the very unfriendly newsagent next door (there is a choice but that depends on your walking route) and go have a good traditional breakfast!!

Nice place ruined by a local. Ignorant and aggressive and then backed up by the management, assume because they are regulars and that 1 pint is more important to him than my custom.

Popped in on dog walk, purchased two 99’s and nearly died when they asked for £7!! Been coming here for years and can’t believe what they now charging! Wasn’t even the peak summer season !
