Gracie was our server and she done an exceptional job looking after us. Food was served quickly and nothing was a problem. Tables were cleared quickly when we had finished. Absolutely amazing job… thank you Gracie!!

Our friends chose this venue for lunch. We had two sharing platters, One of the staff was a bit miserable at first, but apologised later. The food was great and full flavoured. I normally keep away from these multiple pubs but must conceed that this was a good meal.

My family and I had lunch here recently and had a great experience! Was very quiet (on a Sunday afternoon) which was nice and had a really cosy feel as I find most slug and lettuce do! The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and very accommodating! My mum had a problem with her tea and she was quickly upgraded to a better drink free of charge - I think this is great as every now and again something will not be right and it is no one’s fault, it is how they react to it that counts and we could not have been happier with the response. We were served by both Allanah and Charlotte both of whom were very welcoming, helpful and all round lovely - both were absolute stars! The food itself was absolutely fantastic, fair prices and top quality I had the smothered chicken which was amazing! All in all an excellent experience; we couldn’t be happier!

Came in for a pint had a chat with the staff, Claire and Lucy, very friendly. Ordered smothered chicken which was very enjoyable which was made by Jordan.

Didn't know what to expect. A little bit disappointed. They need to how to make cocktails as I believe they should be made with crushed ice,not lumps of ice. The girl with the red hair in here has a horrible attitude! I've never met such a rude bar staff. We walked in she didn't even give me a chance to read the menu. Right attitude! Then rolled her eyes at me when her mate asked me what we wanted wow just give us a chance to read the menu. I don't go in there very often. Probably won't again as can't get over their attitude.

Popped in for some lunch , and the staff were pleasant and welcoming, we have used the slug & lettuce before you usually have no problem finding a table.

Had a bottomless brunch on 4/9/24 - it was the first time we’d done this and it was a brilliant experience! Lewis and Carla were so kind and helpful and kept the drinks coming - there was a good choice of drinks and we enjoyed many cocktails between us (my favourite was Tequila Sunrise) and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and it was really good value. Thank you for making a celebration special!

Whenever I go to slug n lettuce, it's always good value for money and the customer service is really good. Myself, my little boy and my nan had lunch at the poole restaurant ( on the 30th august), we were served by a waitress called Gracie, she was a lovely waitress, helpful with the menu and was very polite and friendly and gave brilliant customer service

I don't come here anymore. The food is average and the service is below average. OK for the 20 somethings.

What truly set the experience apart, however, was the outstanding service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and attentive care. Our server, Gracie, went above and beyond to ensure that our meal was perfect in every way. She was not only knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations, but also incredibly friendly and personable, making us feel right at home. 10/10.

Not the standard we would expect from this chain (which is not high to start with). Gave up waiting for staff, so downloaded and ordered via the app. S&L Sharer was simply fried frozen food on a three tier plate tower. We had to ask for side plates (what did they think, we would eat off the table?!). We were asked if the food was okay, having barely taken two bites! It was average food, mostly fried and some burnt bits. A good chain to visit, just not this location.
