The burgers and fries here still taste exactly the same as this did in 1998 which is bizarre and cool. If you are peckish and it is late then be sure to make a pitstop here!

I heard good things so went to try it, it wasn't good at all the burgers are tasteless and are rubbery I ordered the the big one, I wouldn't go back. The garlic mayo was tasteless but the onions were nice. One of our burgers had a big bit of gristle in. Service was fast and friendly but food was just bad. After going there and looking at the reviewers it seems that it used to be really good but has gone down hill.

Awful burger. Not sure what meat was in it. Staff touching and handling raw food and cooked food with same gloves on.

Literally the worst burger on the Bournemouth to Poole run. Ordered a burger expecting it to look like the pictures advertising it outside the shop. Received a bland, grey, previously frozen patty of unknown origin in the cheapest bun possible. Literally every other local burger shop is better than this.

Misses never had a night owl cheese burger so got the big one....... I'm in the good books tonight thanks guys. Love the chat love the food even more. See you soon

We were frequent customers as teenagers and remember the burgers being awesome, we went back last night and it may be the nostalgia but they were just as we remembered them, excellent. The guys were very friendly and the place was really up together, its still a true hidden gem of the area! We are going to make the effort to get down there more often. 5 * all the way, thanks for bringing back cherished memories

What has ruined it is the burgers used to be the 2oz ones. Regardless of whether it's from the same company, it is ruined by using 1/4 pounders. Now I'm not saying the burgers are awful but they are not what used to draw the crowds. I guess things move on but start using the smaller burgers, they taste far better. As for using the best quality ingredients, that's a laugh cos the they have said they are the same burgers. Well they never used to be quality ingredients (like they would know) they just tasted nice in a cleverly inventive burger.

The finest burgers when I've had 8 pints. I've yet to try pre-alchohol but I recommend if you're on your way home from a night out and need a dirtyburger (shop next door to grab a can while you wait)

Do know how to speak with the customers he is very rude to customers and using very un hygienic process to cook food after seeing that simply left from the restaurant with out ordering very very bad

Absolutely AMAZING burger!! Due to a hectic day just HAD to have a burger!!! Brilliant mushroom cheese burger!! Arrived promptly and burger was hot, fresh and delicious!!!! 1st time used this firm for a few years as used to work locally and ' pop in' after my late shift!! Very pleasant surprise as food was exceptional!!! Delicious burger and onion rings! HIGHLY recommended. You will not be disappointed!!!! Great prompt service. Definitely beats McD or Burger King!!!! Will definitely use again!!! GREAT job!! : )

First time ordering from this place on deliveroo and it was the most delicious food I've had. I absolutely loved it. The hotdog was amazing, as well as the chicken burger. So very yummy!

I visited The Night Owl a few months ago and I still remember the amazing experience to this day. The burgers were truly top-notch, with the bacon and cheese, giant mushroom and pineapple and cheese options standing out as particularly delicious. In my opinion, The Night Owl's offerings are head and shoulders above those of other big chain restaurants like McDonald's and Five Guys. The atmosphere before collection is great, with a friendly and attentive staff that made the experience all the more enjoyable. I have to say, I'm still craving one of their burgers even now! If you're looking for top-quality burgers and a great dining experience, I highly recommend giving The Night Owl a try. Five stars all the way!

Stopped off for a burger, after my dad telling me he used to come here for late night burgers years ago. Lovely and fresh food, brilliant value for the price.

Been here again and like always the food was lovely. This time got an 12inch hot dog and chips instead the burger I usually get and haven't got disappointed. It was lovely. The people working there are also lovely. I recommend to anyone late night hungry. Careful with the spicy sauce they have. It's really spicy. 😂

Have been ordering takeaways here for over 10 years now and cannot fault them. Easy to order for delivery or pop down and chat to the guys whilst they prepare the food. The giant burgers are my favorite. Would highly recommend anyone to give these guys a try!!

The Night Owl is a local late night burger institution. For many years you would get a large juicy burger, now it’s more a cheap frozen one. To enjoy the pleasures I would recommend being very drunk!

Just had deliveroo delivery from here. Food was great and I would have given 5 stars but to be charged 35p for a table spoon of ketchup is taking the pi--. I would order from here again but I would not add any sauce.

Please beware this place has gone done like a lead ballon it has so much history for its unbelievable burgers but new owners over the last few years have killed it the burgers are vile save your money and go elsewhere such a shame !!!

I have just been delivered (Happy Eater) the first Night Owl burger that I have had for years and I was not disappointed! All our food was delivered quickly and piping hot! My whole family loved their burgers and we will definitely be ordering again! FANTASTIC!!!!!

My wife and I have used the Night owl since the 80s and always loved the burgers ... the food quality is not the problem but the poor customer service is the problem.. my wife and I travelled from Poole town to Branksome at 7pm and any local knows that this in itself is a mission at peak times but what topped it off was turning up at the night owl and being told that we would have to wait 25 minutes for 2 burgers because they were prioritising telephone orders plus it is raining !!! So nope, never again will we use the night owl when for the time it would take to turn out 2 burgers they would rather make them wait and prioritise people that didn’t make the effort to go there... will miss the burgers but not how you’re treated and will never return there now..

This place is a little gem - only open in the evening it basically opens on to the street and serves a basic range of food. I opted for one of their burgers which was really tasty. The burgers were a decent thickness, cooked fresh to order and with an open plan kitchen, I could see that cleanliness and food hygiene were all to a high standard. The prices were very fair and the service, although unremarkable was polite and efficient. If I am in the area again, I will be returning for sure.

Excellent staff friendly, regrettably I found they put too much onion on the burger which took away the taste of the actual burger . On my last bite I got the full taste of the burgers . Other than that I see it has great reviews

Been using this place for a late night burger for to many years now while the faces have changed still s good place for a good honest bit to eat Just wish you still used the same patties from back in the 80/90s as thay were fantastic nice peppery flavour to them just saying 👍

My parents recommend this place from when they used to go here in the 80's, I loved this place in the early 00's, but always felt my parents had a much wider range. Must try this place again soon, will update asap!

Freshly cooked every time , tastes like your mothers traditional home made sausage in a bun same with the burgers . Worth every penny spent and definitely the best burger bar around . Friendly staff qnd a good place order takeout from .

The night owl is an institution, you have got to stop off here on your way home from a night out. I did just that last Friday and ordered a giant cheeseburger with onions and an egg. The burger comes in a warm bun with two burgers placed within different sections of the bun topped off with a fried egg, onions, cheese and burger sauce. A perfect way to soak up the alcohol and was served promptly by the two guys working.

Went there on the basis of the reviews and didn't disappoint. Struggling to recal a more delicious burger I've eaten.

Place has Been here for years! My dad used to come here back in the 90's friendly people! Who else sells food at these hours? Especially in this area as food choice is limited!

The main selling points of the night owl are the late opening hours and that's it full stop the portions are good the quality is alright and the prices are alright full stop parking is poor because it's on a main street. Really it's just one of the last places that you can get food on a weekday full stop

My boyfriend and I love love love this place! The burgers are amazing! You need to go late evening to pick one up but it's completely worth it! We live abroad now so every time we come back to the UK we head here for at least one amazing dinner!

I went here last Saturday night and ordered a burger and hotdog.both were lovely.thought I would go last nite Monday the 25th sept.checked the opening times and said it was open till 2am so I went there at 1.20am and it was shut.was gutted.i am still giving this place a good score on review but it would have been 5 stars if it was open when it should be!!!
