Lovely staff and lovely chips! Been visiting for the last few years and I've never had a bad experience. Also, it's great for us as the chips are cooked in seperate oil to the meat products which is a must for me! Thanks guys 😊

Well presented chippie with outstanding varied menu. Excellent service, deliciously fried, reasonably priced so will be certainly be stopping by here next time I’m over in Poole. You can’t get the same quality anywhere in Bournemouth! Believe me, I live in Westbourne and grew up enjoying the expert stuff Mr Longs original teams used to deliver in Oakdale and Broadstone. 👌🏼

Visiting Dorset for the first time from London. Lovely fish and chips, good portion sizes. My boys especially loved the fish! Great service from the owner John, who went above and beyond for my little ones ketchup request! Very friendly guy who even gave us tips on nearby places to visit :)

Dont even know where to begin. Disappointed is an understatement. First time trying here, and will definitely be the last. Chips undercooked, soggy, mush, but somehow had a rubbery consistency. Inedible, went in bin. Sausage had no flavour and barely any batter. Onions rings and chicken bites were the only things worth eating. Waited a good 20mins for food, yet there were no other customers. Staff were friendly and polite though, so that's something. 5 stars for customer service.

Lovely chips and a good choice of slushies. Service was excellent as well. Will definitely be back.

Really clean lovely selection of deals and prices really nice. for a regular chips and a battered jumbo sausage cost only around the 4 pound mark which is great they have a lovely selection of drinks aswell from slushes for a nice warm day and lots of cans can’t wait to come back next time and try some more stuff

I ordered of Just Eat, never again appalling service. So I decided to go to the shop myself to mention that an item was forgotten in my delivery. The really genuine lovely owner, apologised and gave me a massive yummy fishy delight. Apologies, I’m unable to take down my review from Just Eat. I was “hangry” I’m getting nowhere. My lesson has been learned. I will never order off Just Eat again. I think your chip shop is amazing.

Lovely food and great portion size

A brilliant find in Poole. Had a lovely portion of fish and chips, freshly prepared. The owner was a great guy who went out of his way for our little one as well.

Excellent chippy which has great variety on the menu. Some of the menu items you wouldn’t expect and are great. The piri chips were actual chilled potatoes. Great portion sizing too. The guys working in the shop were great to speak to whilst waiting. Thanks again.

What can I say the best fish and chips I have had for a long time. We had the cod freshly cooked why you wait. Batter on the fish was light which was perfect. Fish was lovely and white. Chips great. And to top it off the homemade tartar sauce was outstanding. Would definitely be back. When visiting Poole. Great service.

Amazing place! Staff were so welcoming and lovely, I bought one of their new red boost slush puppies and was very impressed. Tasted just like redbull and very good price too! Would definitely recommend this place

Had a large cod small chips, have to say the cod was beautiful the meat was all nice and white in the middle and the batter was nice and crispy not soggy and full of fat like some places. The chips must of been cut xtra large if I park round here again I will definitely be coming back

Best menu around including fish, chips and burgers. Owner is amazing and although not our nearest fish and chips, is by far our favourite. Amazing food which is great quality and thoughtfully sourced, fabulous friendly service and well priced.

Outstanding food and service. I love the new breakfast idea and what makes it even better is the quality of ingredients which shows in the end result great selection of food and very tasty. I can personally recommend the toasted BLT and egg Benedict Yummmmm

Food was nearly stone cold, found a hair in the fish batter that certainly did not match mine, had to microwave my meal and made the chips even soggier

Cleanest' Spacious and freshest chippy i ever been in the service is friendly and professional and the food tastes great just had some of there chips on Tiger bread with a nice cup of tea. Lovely!

I’ve been going in for over a year now, everytime the food is delicious and the owner takes care of us. Portion sizes are great and good value for money. Even tried the frickles upon his recommendation, not too bad 😋 Highly recommend!

Easily one of the best Fish and Chips shops I've been too. Extremely generous portion sizes and value for money. It was great to taste a proper British chippy again. The staff even including a delivey driver whilst I was waiting were very friendly and food served both promptly and deliciously. Highly recommend this place because if you want a great feed, value for money and a friendly customer experience this is certainly your spot 😋👌👍

Owners lie on the reviews, gave me quite a laugh, worst fish n chips I’ve ever seen and poor business decisions especially how they talk to others.

Bad business, you can tell there is an act put on for customers as all the staff look miserable and are quite rude to each-other as well by the looks of it, edit: noticed the owner makes up a story about them in his replies to the reviewers to make them look bad despite them having no proof who they are whatsoever, these owners are not good people, anyone smart will see that.

We ordered from here for dinner on 08/08 and was literally the worst fish n chips I've ever had...no exaggeration! Everything just tastes reheated and the battered sausages barely had any batter on at all...like they were cooked off....then through in the fryer with batter on. We won't be ordering again

Most fish and chips shops are much the same but Tatnam's is better in every way, including quality, speed and value. Best I've ever been to in 73 years of extensive UK travel.

We've enjoyed Tatnam for a while now as a family of four - the little pups menu is perfect, our girls are always welcomed and a bag of chips never goes a miss for the adults. Today our daughter asked for fish chips with all of the extended family! Well a huge order later and the food was great, delivery on time and memories made!! Thanks as always - number 34 👍

Haven't been here in a while, however today went for their lunchtime deals. What can I say they've upped their game and everything was on point. Would definitely travel further than my local for this.

Friday is fish night and fish cakes didnt disappoint. A meal and a half literally fish was an awesome size and so fresh. See you again soon. Forgot to mention how friendly the owners and staff are. Always use Tatnam fish shop when family come down. They have a loyalty card which I have used. Its my number 1 chippy. You won't be disappointed.

Wow I know prices have gone up in all chip shops, but this one is well worth the price the portion sizes are great. By far best value for money I've found so far for chip shops I've been to lately. So filling and satisfying.

Just been in as I won the competition on Fb and was also my first time here the Owner & staff were all very friendly and cheerful, such lovely people, Great portion sizes and quality of food, battered cod was really nice! The food was a real mix, we had fish and chips, peas, curry sauce and jumbo sausages. Unfortunately, the sausages were really bad and the kids didn't enjoy them at all. The mushy peas were very dry which for mushy peas is an achievment. The curry sauce was not to our taste, was watery but I guess this can be personal preference. However, that being said.. the fish was cooked fresh and this was genuinely great. No complaints at all. The chips were good too, great portion size in the large. Overall price was expensive, but this I don't mind if quality is good. On this occasion it didn't feel value for money across the selection, but the fish and chips were good. Friendly server and no complaints about the service.

We stopped at Tatnam fish and chips after long journey with two starving toddlers. Not only food was delicious and very affordable but staff was extremely helpful and kind. Very highly recommend this place, lovely food, great prices and fantastic customer service.

Used to love this place once it was under new management, now I get charged £30 for 2 nasty sweaty burgers an 2 large chips an curry sauce, they forget the curry sauce an on my next visit a while later they not even open when they say are. Closing 15 mins early. Back to lakeside... bit posher but worth it. R.I.P RODEO BURGER

Wow. Wow. And again, wow. Just had the belly smasher burger and it was absolutely delicious! I originally ordered a portion of chips as well but was advised to share a large portion with my wife's fish and chips instead. So glad I did or I would have wasted a load of chips! It was juicy, tasty, and massive. And what they don't tell you is they use a pretzel type bun as well that adds even more flavour to it. Top marks from me! Oh and the wife said that the fish was lovely as well👍

Just found TATNUM FISH AND CHIPS have new proprietors..... Great food!! If you're looking for something different, try GOATS CHEESE FRITTER!! BEAUTIFUL!! Everything cooked to order, so it's fresh and hot. Might be a bit of a wait if they're busy but it's worth it!!

Absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and tasty. Lovely fish in batter, light crispy batter and melt in the mouth fish. Chips are just crispy enough and always fresh. Lucky to have these guys as my local but would definitely travel to get food from here. The service is always great too. Lovely staff with a nice friendly demeanor and banter. Lunch special is a disappointment. Nothing special about it, except its a smaller portion for a relatively cheaper price. I'd expect a normal portion for a reduced price. That's what special means in my dictionary. Other than that, it's a nice chippy, good food and service in general.

I stopped off here whilst out cycling. I grabbed, (battered sausage and chips) from the lunchtime specials board. I was very pleased with the quality and portion size, brilliant for £1.99 .. I'll be making a special visit the next time I'm out on my bike. 5 stars from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beware when ordering from here. Prices are fictitious. Trading standards issue. I was served by a Polish guy and he wanted to over charge on the advertised price for a lunchtime burger and chips. He blamed the owner saying it wasn't his business. Apparently the photo of the burger doesn't come with cheese or relish like in the photo. That's an extra 41pence... Bullsh1t!! Don't open your business if you cannot provide what your selling at the prices you display.. !!!!!

This is my second time trying haddock and chips under new management and can now confirm that the freshness and consistency is good. We had haddock and chips with a regular chips split between two in the boxes and it was plenty. Walked in early evening and both chips and haddock freshly cooked in about 5 mins. Will be my local Chippie now - so keep it up.

The best cod and chips I've ever had, really fresh flakey white cod lovely crisp batter. The chips were golden and freshly cooked. Two massive pickled onions. Packaged really well. Nice friendly staff too

Ordered a Large chips during a busy period, so had to wait. Twenty minutes later I was first in queue but instead of prioritising my order they instead prioritised an online order that had just walked through the door and then told me to wait for a further five minutes! Disgraceful treatment, just because I didn't look like I had anywhere to go, my elderly grandparents had just returned from Turkey and I had to meet them at the station to help with their luggage. Glad to see the latest owners are just as bad as the previous three or four this chip shop has had in the past TWO YEARS. AVOID!!!!!!!!
