The best restaurants in Backwell North Somerset South West

Big Naths catered our wedding and were superb. Everyone knows their food is incredible (vegan included!) but just as good is their customer service. Lots of communication to settle on a menu (including a home visit) and meticulous planning for allergies etc. Can’t recommend highly enough.

This place never disappoints. Grabbing a drink before flight is a must.

Raam was really friendly and helpful! He had a good laugh with us too! Food was great 😁

I always place orders by telephone. Very good service and quality food nicely cooked. Parking at the shop available.

A 15 mins drive from junction 21 on M5, a recommendation out of The Extra Mile book, this is a road side stall selling local produce which also sells takeaway drinks and cakes with seating on picnic tables in the car park ie it does not have a proper cafe. Coffee was v tasty (in disposable cups) and we ate a lovely carrot cake muffin but it was not a relaxing place to sit near the main road and I don’t like my drinks out of a paper cup. Could not have had a nicer greeting from outstandingly polite and friendly staff. The atmosphere and surroundings were cosy, clean and bright - one of the nicest pubs/restaurants I have visited in quite some time. As for the food - very nice indeed. If I may make a polite criticism, it is that my Tikka Masala could have been just a little spicier and my partners chicken was a little dry. Nevertheless, we shall certainly return. I would also like to add that you certainly give very good value for money. So all in all, The Fox & Goose are very much on our 'we'll be back' menu.

I had a bacon egg cheeseburger and it was beautiful, one of the best I've had. We also ordered 2 large breakfasts and these were thoroughly enjoyed. All food is freshly cooked and hot to the table. Would recommend.

Super friendly service and nice Employees - would definitely recommend

Reasonable choice of four hot dishes plus salads and cakes. The chairs were a bit basic. Toilets are out in the concourse. Staff were nice despite it being a very busy day.

It's closed down! Visited Saturday 15th June and it's completely shut down!

I know expectations are never high when eating in an airport, but this place used to be OK. Sadly, not any more. The quality of the food has really gone down hill. Grainy scrambled eggs, small portions and greasy . The vine roasted tomatoes were just simply microwaved. I used to have the avo on toast. The portion of avocado was just a thin spread. Poor.

We popped in for lunch, sadly the kitchen was being refurbished BUT, when we said oh dear, and could he recommend somewhere and also be able to park the car, he said, no problem, just leave the car here and made various alternative suggestions. We went round town, had some lunch and of course went back for a lovely gin at about 3:00. Great old fashioned service.

I could eat one of these every day Staff are friendly and helpful and good looking too Will definitely return next time I'm flying thru Bristol!!
