Cabin Bar Bristol Airport in North Somerset

I just wanted a quick pint before the flight. Relatively quiet and no on waiting at the bar to be served. Was told to sit down and I'll be served. Mate, I just wanted a pint. 10 minutes later and nothing. Weirdest bar ever.

Best Caesar Salad in Bristol. Impressive for an airport stop off! Abi & Gabby were great servers, i’ve stopped here a few times and their service is always top tier and consistent, always friendly, fast and polite. My place of choice for a drink or bite whenever passing through thanks to their efforts and the great food.

Absolutely overpriced drinks, even for an airport. No draught prices on the menu which is a bit cheeky - I know we could have asked for prices but come on. Over £8 for a pint is taking the proverbial. Also closes super early, last orders at 7.20pm is ridiculous when the last flight of the day was over 2 hours later.

Well looked after by Joe and Gabby while waiting for my delayed flight. Highly recommend.

Similar to the below post. They are still serving the 'smoked salmon plate' for 7.99GBP. it's absolutely ridiculous as it's half a slice of sourdough and a sliver of salmon. Management have responded saying they are welcoming the feedback but have made absolutely no changes.

Joe was a perfect host very charming and good at suggestions. Went above and beyond.

Shout out to Joe and Rob for keeping us fed and watered up to a 5% level of alcoholic intake. Friendly guys who are good vibes overall, always on point with the service, especially quick to spot when we need a top up and nothing is ever too much trouble. Also rating the playlist. Fallout Boy, a plate of hummus and some Moretti on tap. What more do you need? Cheers 🍻

Joe and Rob were absolutely brilliant. Great service.

They do not have a real kitchen, just reheating food that has been prepared elsewhere. So I agree with another one of the reviews. Do not eat the food here. We should have seen this beforehand that there was no real kitchen, just a corner of the bar where food is reheated in a microwave. It should have also been obvious since there were hardly any customers for the food while other places in the foodcourt were busy.

Very well looked after by Joe at Bristol airport. He was just fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He even looked out how our flight time! Please give him some recognition!

Don't usually enjoy airport food outlets, but this one is comfy, relaxing, made all the better by the really friendly and efficient service from Abi and Joe Top tip: check what beers and ciders they have at the bar, don't think it's just the few they have on the printed menus

Ordered scrambled eggs, salmon and roasted tomatoes from the 'customised' section. Plus OJ and americano. Eggs microwaved and grainy. Salmon portion tiny - looked like an offcut. Tomatoes had not been anywhere near an oven - microwaved and barely warm so sent back.OJ not fresh - bottle or carton. Staff polite and service prompt. Tables/crocks clean. Shame - it's a quiet spot and the menu reads well. It could be a real haven.

Me and my partner have flown from Bristol twice in the last few months and we have had amazing service and great food both times we’ve visited. We were especially appreciative of Dorin who remembered us and greeted us warmly and provided us with everything we needed going above and beyond for us. I recommend the smashed avo, poached eggs on sourdough toast for a good price and it fueled us for our busy day of travelling. Will come here as a must for breakfast every time we fly from Bristol.

The Cabin Bar is a nice little bar within Bristol airport lounge and serves good basic food at a slightly expensive price. The Nachos were tasty and the service prompt and friendly.

We had a delicious risotto and a phenomenal bread with salmon as a starter. Abi and Anita assisted us and despite not understanding English very well with the Google translator tool, we met expectations. We will return if we go through that airport to CABIN BAR. Thank you

7,99 pounds for a ridiculous plate of smoked salmon. The Caesar salad was better. Not exceptional avocado and croutons, but ok. Service was rapid and place quiet.

Paid £6.50 for a ridiculously stingy portion of beans on toast. They also had no milk alternatives, not great for plant-based diets or anyone with lactose intolerance.

A very nice place with good food and atmosphere

The staff are lovely and already aware that I’m Deaf, so they were careful with me and my order. The food is delicious, and they even used basic BSL, which I really appreciated! I’m really pleased with their service.

A rip off. 2 x chicken burgers with small bowl of crisps, 3x lattes, 1 x small coke £46.65 and then to rub salt into the wound 12.5% service charge for staff completely disinterested! Rip off - never again!

Joe showed me to a table which was perfect for a single lady. The service was quick and both Joe and the lady at the bar were so friendly.

I know expectations are never high when eating in an airport, but this place used to be OK. Sadly, not any more. The quality of the food has really gone down hill. Grainy scrambled eggs, small portions and greasy . The vine roasted tomatoes were just simply microwaved. I used to have the avo on toast. The portion of avocado was just a thin spread. Poor.

Staff. Lovely. Really nice.. Food. Rubbish.. absolutely terrible. Small plate should not mean "it's enough to feed a sparrow". Hummus should not have so much turmeric in it that it resembles canary yellow.. also it was so smothered in oil that I could have serviced my vintage lambrettas gear box with it.. The S at the end of roasted VEGETABLES would normally indicate more that 1 type of vegetable. 1 carrot and half a sun dried tomato is NOT roasted vegetableS.. Sorry.. it was just rubbish.. Even the guy sat next to me was wondering if his vegetable based burger had seen any form of heat whatsoever.. I paid and left..

"Fine" if you're expecting below average quality, low value food. £18 chicken burger was drier than the Sahara and more batter than chicken. Plus it came with... <drum roll>... crisps rather than chips. I imagined it was a description to make my North American brethren feel more at home. I was wrong: my guess is profit optimisation! Staff were friendly and polite :)

Joe was an amazing server, very friendly. Cracked a good joke too! Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to bristol. Will be returning again whenever i’m back to the airport!

Worst airport breakfast I have ever had, Tasteless scrambled egg, mini egg cup portion of beans? Herby potatoes were clearly last nights left over microwaved, tough and soggy!

Restaurant is clean and tidy, staff helpful and very quick service. Not too many tables so fairly quick most of time and never had to wait. They had changed menu on last few visits also started to change a Service Charge of 12%. This is regardless how many in your party. I have always left tips in the past and feel it’s down to individual how much they wish to leave not adding charges on.

Stopped in for drink not clear where to sit or how to order was shouted at by lady in a red dress as was in her way - customer service at its worse merry Xmas thanks for starting our trip off on a bad note!!!

Honestly the whole experience was made by Joe if I’m honest, a lad clearly grafting that could do no wrong. I’d actually go as far to say the food tasted better because of Joes unbelievable service. Have to mention Gabi as well who just finished the perfect pre flight meal off.

The food was okay, not bad for airport food. Drinks and service were great. Drinks and meal delivered in good time and waiters would check in periodically without seeming intrusive. Friendly and warm atmosphere. Prices are a bit high but what you would expect for an airport bar.

I’ve been to cabin bar twice now and both times I have been served my Tihomir. He’s so polite, helpful and personable. A credit to the business!

Seriously. Don’t waste your money on the burgers here. They are extremely basic, served with CRISPS (not chips, when I asked about this the staff helpfully said “can’t you read sir…”).

Long wait for a flight as we're rather eager to leave home! Service from Valda and skouste was great, very attentive and chatty, the table was clean and space inviting, we didn't eat buy lots around us did and seemed to enjoy it. The Cabin red wine was very moorish and my husband seemed to enjoy his coffee. We choose the Cabin over the bigger bar further along the concourse as it had a warmer feeling and the ambiance was better. 100% would return.
