Bridge Inn in North Somerset

We usually find The Bridge inn pretty good. However one of the meals we bought was not as described. We weren't the only table with an issue as several other people were sending their meals back. Price for a pint of thatchers gold was a bit spendy £5.15!

Staff are really friendly and accommodating when we arrived. We came for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint at all. Will definitely return thank you.

Did not stay just had food We went Sunday evening, staff was very rude, one staff made it so obvious that she open the back door where we sat, she did this in a pissy way. Need some more tranning on there customer service if want this place to keep going. Not very happy with the service will not be going again. Food was not great but we was hungry.

Superb accommodation, very close to clevedon (10 min drive to seafront) Tracey was very helpful and accommodating, great value rooms and breakfast. Second time we’ve stayed and would definitely stay again. One tiny note, the family room we stayed in is on the first floor so a little tricky with a little one but you can’t complain. Excellent

The Bridge inn was great the staff were extremely helpful especially Tracy on reception. We had breakfast as well , It was great the staff were really attentive especially Barry and Sophie they made the stay outstanding overall the room was great many thanks for everything Jeremy.

Great service! Came in for a family get together, booked a table before going as I know it can get busy. We had a large table of people but all the food came out together and was lovely. We ordered on the app and the drinks came out extremely quickly! Great place for a large family meal!

Just had a meal there. I enjoyed the burger with beef chilli. Service was very good, helpful, friendly and quick.

We didn't stay at the hotel, just ate in the play area. The play area is great, food is great, staff are polite. I would have given 4.5 stars but since that's not an option I've knocked it down due to the slightly neglected furniture and the toilets. The seats are ripped with no attempt to repair them and the toilet roll holders in the cubicles are so high that my 7 year old daughter couldn't reach them. I'm 5ft6 and they are at my shoulder height. The toilet took a few pushes of the flush before flushing and again, just seemed a bit neglected. Other than that it was a pleasant visit and the kids love it because there's a Wacky Warehouse play area.

Very poor experience. The food made me unwell and the rooms were unpleasant - strong musky damp smell which was overpowering and the beds were rock hard, impossible to sleep on. All of the staff we encountered were exceptionally rude. **Update: Chloe’s reply was disingenuous as they never responded to my email - clearly not interested in hearing feedback or making reparations, they reply was just for public show!

We regularly visit the Bridge, often just before we go on stage., so we really appreciate prompt delivery and consistent high quality of the food we receive.

This is our 5th visit to the bridge inn for a stopover before the airport and we always enjoy the super clean comfortable rooms and the bar/restaurant is very reasonable and the staff are always very friendly

Visited the restaurant for lunch. Food was delicious as always. Realised my dip was missing so collared James as he walked past. He quickly bought me two pots (one as an apology) and checked back into see if everything was ok. Super friendly and helpful. This is one of my favourite places to eat so we will definitely be back:)

It what you expect for cheap and cheerful. I liked that the parking was nice and spacious. We went for a kids party so didn't buy any food ourselves. I had a coffee which was from a machine. Staff were attentive and friendly. The hosting room was warm- which was nice on a cold day.

It’s a greene king pub, so cheap as chips. Rooms are functional, clean and a little tired but perfectly fine for the price

Service was brilliant once again. Sophie and Dan were both really polite and the food was fantastic. Second time coming here and would recommend it to anyone.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here with my daughter and friend. The manager helped us navigate the menu as we were cost limited due to having a giftcard. The establishment looked clean and tidy and the food came out in a timely manner. We were asked how our food was during and if we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend if you're looking for low cost good quality meal 😀

Great family pub with a soft play. Soft play could do with a little updating and repair but still fun for the kids. Food is great for the price you pay, and accepting clubcard vouchers is a bonus!

We visited after a visit to Cadbury and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, my meal was too big and the staff kindly packed it up for me to take home for later. Our children had an enjoyable experience also and really enjoyed their food. Would highly recommend.

I have been coming here with my children for 6 yrs and the service is great and friendly. We are made to feel welcome. It’s great 90 minutes a week I get see them where we are not living together.

Thoroughly impressed and grateful with the service from the Bridge Inn (both hotel and restaurant) today. They have been efficient and helpful to speak with at what I’m sure is a very busy time of year. It was a lovely afternoon with my daughter and grandchildren. They really enjoyed themselves in the play area, while we enjoyed our drinks. Evie was lovely and friendly. I ended up buying the 4 of us a pair of Whacky Warehouse socks.

Genuinely one of the best steaks I've had in a long time(wasn't expecting it to be honest) perfectly cooked(medium rare). Staff were efficient and very pleasant. I will definitely be going back when I next visit family.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. I am not fond of carvery's. However, the food was well presented and nicely cooked. The sweet courses were very rich and very large. Many people made use of the supplied plastic box 'doggy bags' to finish their sweet at home!

Stopped in to charge the car. Coffee and burger whilst I waited were served promptly and was as expected.

Unfortunately not the dinning experience we were expecting. Child's roast looked appealing and was warm to eat. The other meals order had clearly been sat on the kitchen side until all the order was ready. Chips were cold not even warm fish well the batter had seen better days, with throwing accussions around possibly re-fried. Wished we'd read reviews before visiting.

Linda is so welcoming and so helpful I don't know how i would've coped when I came on my own with my little one, she was amazing as it normally have my partner with me. We always return because of Linda it feels like coming to a family house for food. She doesn't stop working an making sure everyone ok

We live local and love coming here often with family over the years. Great food, drink, atmosphere and soft play for the kids. We even book our family Christmas get together every year. Also the breakfast choice is AMAZING!

Booked my daughter’s party. Great staff, food and service

The party was really good the play area staff were amazing but this new rule about older kids not allowed in to help there younger siblings is ridiculous I understand them running around maybe incase knocking over kids but getting shouted out while helping their sister or brother is a stupid and ruined the party a little bit .

I visited the pub on Wednesday the 2nd of October me and my partner are regulars as we really really enjoy the food I just wanted to say that i found Dean on the serving bar really lovely and friendly he took my order no problems i just wanted to comment on his brilliant customer service food was great as always and always out of the kitchen so quickly :)

My room was a disaster, there was dust everywhere, dead bugs, everything was shabby and dirty, the carpet smelled horrible, the clientele in this hotel was terrible, I travel a lot for business - the worst hotel I've ever been in - by far

Ordered a medium steak but when it arrived it was rare. They replaced it with another which was so well done it was like cutting into cardboard.

Got greeted by very Friendly and helpful staff as soon as we walked in, rooms are nice, stayed in the family room, coffee and tea things in the room

Visited on 21/08/24 at roughly 5:30pm. It was an okay visit overall! Soft play was great and adult friendly too; also the price of meals was great for a family of 3. I cant speak highly enough of Sophie, she was practically running the softplay on her own and delivered an excellent service! Also, the team lead on duty was very friendly and had attention to detail when it came to a problem with sorting the meals. However, I was disappointed regarding the chefs comments towards how I should order my steak, his words were “next time just order the medium well”, but to send it through the young waitress was a bit of a low blow! Overall though, it was a nice enough visit just a few minor issues!

Perfect place reasonably priced very friendly staff would definitely come back.
