Got greeted by very Friendly and helpful staff as soon as we walked in, rooms are nice, stayed in the family room, coffee and tea things in the room

Good value food and accommodation.

Visited on 21/08/24 at roughly 5:30pm. It was an okay visit overall! Soft play was great and adult friendly too; also the price of meals was great for a family of 3. I cant speak highly enough of Sophie, she was practically running the softplay on her own and delivered an excellent service! Also, the team lead on duty was very friendly and had attention to detail when it came to a problem with sorting the meals. However, I was disappointed regarding the chefs comments towards how I should order my steak, his words were “next time just order the medium well”, but to send it through the young waitress was a bit of a low blow! Overall though, it was a nice enough visit just a few minor issues!

Perfect place reasonably priced very friendly staff would definitely come back.

The lamp in the room was not working properly. Sink plug wS the wrong size. The wooden floor panel wasn't fitted properly going into bathroom and it was an hazard for tripping over. It was just basic for the stay there.

Me and my wife came here and we had the Katsu meal and a steak pie. Both were amazing!!!! Can't wait to come again!

Came here with work for lunch (my suggestion) the food was tasty! Enjoyed my chicken New Yorker! Everyone else seemed happy with their food! Will be coming back again soon!

The food and service were excellent.

Lovely big room, a little dated but all good. Big bath and good shower and really comfy pillows. The lady on reception was brilliant, really friendly and professional.

We were met by friendly staff who showed us the restaurant. Food was good well cooked pub food. We watched the England game.great atmosphere. staff were busy and polite. First time in a hungry horse would recommend this place to anybody.

Had a nice pleasant stay as in the area for fishing which is nearby , evening meals are really nice ,staff members are helpful ,our room was nice and comfy , also family friendly with children's area for them to play etc ,also plenty of parking at the back plus electric charging points ,bus stop outside, Nigel, Laura thankyou for being very knowledgeable about the surrounding area

Room was generous size for 4 people. Play area clean and not expensive for food and drinks. Service is quick and always from friendly staff. Breakfast again was a reasonable price and lots of choice for both adults and children. Location is quiet with plenty of parking, would definitely recommend

We were a large group of eight adults and six children with a range of food allergies and intolerances. The menu was very clear and the few extra tweaks were catered for with no fuss. It is great to find somewhere that understands and appreciates the problems. We were given tables which were exactly right for us and allowed the children to enjoy the soft play with the minimum of interference to other customers. The chef, bar and table staff were friendly and helpful. Great service, great value for money and an enjoyable meal and time out. Well done everyone and thank you. We will definitely return.

Haven't been here for a long time as we dont travel this road very often. There is plenty of parking here, including a few disabled spaces. Friendly helpful service when ordering at the bar. Our meals didn't take long to arrive, looked good, and tasted even better. Highly recommend the chicken New Yorker big plate special. Happy with the service and food, we will be back for more.

Really impressed with Kids Play area. Food is nice and good price. Only minus - it could be a bit cleaner. Happy to see some new furniture on my last visit.

four of us stayed here for the the bank holiday weekend for the love saves the day festival in long ashton, the food service & room was perfect for us the staff were so lovely and friendly! the food and quiet location in yatton was exactly what we needed to help get us through our weekend thank you so much we definitely recommend!!

We arrived at 8:30 p.m. having just arrived on the train from London. We were warmly greeted and to our surprise they were still serving our delicious food arrived very quickly, the staff were friendly and very professional, a lovely pub we will be back...

We've have been coming here for years and the food has not been great. However, the food today was fantastic, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. So whatever you are doing keep it up.

Great place to stay. Nice rooms, helpful staff and very good pub with an excellent range of food and drink options.

Been here a few times mainly for the play area for my young children.Have been let down twice after travelling 40 minutes to find the play area not open due to lack of staff! The final time we went I was confronted with a sign in the main entrance foyer stating if you have not booked a table there were no available tables! It's a bloody hungry horse for Christ sake. not a Michelin star restaurant. Priorities should be to those customers walk through the door.

It is what it is. If you have a family to feed and want something cheap and cheerful, it delivers just that. Service OK, food wasn't great but cannot complain at price

I haven't stayed here but I spoke with Nigel over the phone regarding a booking and parking for flying from Bristol etc. Nigel was very informative and helpful in regards to the hotel/booking process and also spoke truthfully about the parking. Parking is allowed when staying at the hotel itself for the designated nights but parking whilst you are away / when you travel from Bristol airport is not allowed as this causes unnecessary build up of traffic and cars in the hotel parking and looks more like a car park than a hotel/pub so please bare this in mind and be aware and fair on where and when you park. Hotel looks nice online.

Been waiting 35 minutes for two meals, there’s probably about 5 tables with most already have their meals. It hardly busy and I’ve worked for greene king before so I know how long these certain meals should take, and it’s not 35 minutes. At least we got our drinks.

Hi. First time visit to this Hungry Horse (Yatton), and have had a fantastic experience. The service from the staff (Shara), was excellent and the food (Full English Breakfast) was superb. An all round enjoyable experience and will definitely be coming back soon. A personal high recommendation. Thank you.

Stopped for breakfast on a friday at 9.30am with my 6 year old daughter very friendly service. Had buy one get one free breakfast. Food was cold though. Toast was very thin and also cold no butter had to ask for it. Black pudding was 1 thin slice over cooked and dry. Even my daughter said daddy the beans are freezing cold. Coffee didn't fill the mug and wasn't hot enough either. Disappointing tbh

Stayed here through work for 4 nights. The hotel itself is dated and in need of some upgrades. However, the staff make up for the hotel and are brilliant. Very friendly service every day and evening I was here. The restaurant is part of the Hungry Horse chain and was fine and well priced although there is a lack of healthier options on the menu. Good location for the hotel. Its away from the M5 and is quiet enough that sleeping isn't an issue, but close enough that everything is accessible quickly. In short, really excellent staff but the hotel needs an update.

Excellent stay the room was huge and well appointed, the service was superb,and the food perfectly cooked. Shara the lady who served us was attentive and efficient. It was the best way to relax before jetting off.

Wonderfully cheap and cheerful! It's a not a gourmet dining experience, but it's not priced like one. The food is well cooked, and it can be cheaper than going to the chippy, with all the offers available. It's no wonder we go regularly, rather than cooking. As we're local, we haven't used the bedrooms

Great location near M5 and airport, but quite in the countryside away from the hussle. Rooms are very clean and the staff, notably Nigel, Shara and Aaron will take care of your every need.

Only came for the play area which is a little outdated, we were warned to cross the rope bridge with caution due to it being loose? Ordered some food which is normally okay but what we received was nothing to be desired. Veggie lasagna came out like a burnt brick topped with hair 😍 Waited over 15 mins for them to send out what looked like the same thing, didn’t seem very apologetic about it either. Wouldn’t hurry back.

Just the job for a quick drink and a meal. Play area for the kids to.

My second visit to a Hungry Horse branded pub chain from Green King. This premises is huge with multiple rooms for casual drinking, eating, watching sports tv of the various kinds and a drinks menu with emphasis on value and fun. Predominantly ciders, lagers, cocktails and the odd IPA served chilled. Bottles are available but this isn't a pub for real ale drinkers with very limited options. Plenty of screens so particularly beneficial when major events take place. Choose your screen! Bar staff helpful and pleasant. My dish a 5 oz succulent gammon did the job at £8.49 and comes complete with all the trimmings - pineapple slice, peas, chips and egg. IPA was under £4 and regular americano coffee £1.99 with welcome size jug of milk. This pub brand is clearly pitched with value in mind. The overall decor is long overdue for a makeover and not surprisingly when the pub industry is having a tough time and value is key. It has seen better days however this huge pub still manages to fill many seats on Sundays and booking ahead is advised. I cannot imagine how the kitchen copes when everyone wants a meal at weekends. The food menu is extensive but with emphasis on chips and salads - not sure if you can substitute chips for healthy options like jackets, new potatoes etc. This is a pub where your money comes first, sports tv second, value drinks third and of course it has accommodation so very handy when distant travellors are wanting the airport before or after holidays etc. Sizeable car park and quite a few charging points for those lucky enough to own an EV. This review was requested by staff. Will can again.

Didn't use the hotel so I can't comment on the facilities. The play area and subsequent dining area was busy when we arrived but it was half term so it's to be expected, 2 members of staff were rude when asked where drinks or food items were telling us its not their job. I'm not sure what the service of the main bar and dining are like so I won't judge. But overall I wouldn't go back.

Pretty basic food. Staff are nice and friendly. It’s just an average chain pub.

Dinner was nice, long wait though, kids soft play was ok… smells in there though, toilets near the bar/soft play were disgusting but the staff member I spoke to was apologetic and she was very nice, other toilets were fine.

I've been to several chain bars and restaurants, and this is the best I've experienced. The waiter's seriousness and the chef came over to ask me how satisfied I was with the dishes. Because it was the chef who was taking the order. I asked some questions about the dishes and the chef explained them to me and I ordered the dishes I liked. This pancake-wrapped chicken dish is so delicious. I will go to this restaurant with my kids and my wife next time. Serving speed is very fast

I am a regular visitor to the Bridge Inn. I can honestly say that I always enjoy my meals. The only criticism is they can be a little skimpy with the fries/chips. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. Especially Laura who always greets customers with a smile and is very polite and helpful. There is a large car park too which is great. Worth a visit.

Staff are friendly. Menu is varied and inexpensive. Food is good. I visit here with my father every couple of weeks as he enjoys eating in a place he is familiar with. 9 out of 10 times this place fits the bill, occasionally it can be over busy with a lot of kids, but it's a family pub and to be expected. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for lunch time food.
