Food was delicious great place to stop if your heading to the airport

Lovely and clean, great selection of vegetarian dishes, very good pint of Guinness. Lovely friendly, helpful staff.

Getting a little dated now and needs a refresh. Staff were lovely and service was good. Cauli wings for starters was lacking BBQ sauce, not very large and expensive for what is was. Rest of the food was good though.

The staff working weekends was great

Excellent food, beer and service. Very convenient to Bristol Airport. We stopped there on the way, which we booked in advance and on the way home on a very busy bank holiday afternoon, and they found us a table even though we hadn't booked. Thanks to everyone at the Fox and Goose

Easy to find and close to Bristol airport. No problem with parking. Friendly welcome with easy check in. Very nice room, I would just say that our room was upstairs which was no issue for us but if stairs are an issue let them know you need a ground floor room. We did not eat so cannot comment on food but there were a number of people eating but it was a good pint of beer.

We were lucky to arrive just before 3pm, not aware of the fact, they close the kitchen between 3pm and 5 pm, webpage didn't tell us.

It's a nice pub, a bit tired around the edges, but lovely staff. The food is what you would expect from a Marston's and was served promptly hot and presented well by someone who smiled

Lovely pub, great service, decent food. Very busy midweek, glad we booked in advance. The burger and chips were really nice. Can also recommend the scampi and the chicken burger. Desserts went down well 😁 Hope to visit again.

Pub 7km from Bristol, overnight stay a little expensive for the type of accommodation

Booked for stay the night before early flight. On arrival we were greeted and checked in promptly. The room was clean warm and had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant area was spotless and tables were being cleaned and cleared as soon as people finished and left We reserved a table for food, lucky we pre booked as the restaurant soon filled up. The staff were friendly helpful and gave us a warm welcome. I would definitely stay again based on this experience and have already recommended to family and friends.

Website menu states food avaliable / served up to 3pm. We called for a late lunch at 2:45pm and we're told no food available as the kitchen shuts @ 3pm! Very misleading and disengenuous then!

Enjoyed a night's stay. Very comfortable hotel. Had an evening meal & drinks in the bar which was very good & didn't break the bank ! Had a first class breakfast before we departed the following morning. Hotel very clean & tidy, the staff were friendly & very polite & helpful. Will certainly be back for another visit. Staying the night at the start of our holiday, Rachel greeted us , she was very friendly , pleasant and saved us table for late evening meal 5☆ can't fault the service even though they were very busy.

I’d made an error and booked a room for the wrong date. The staff were excellent and fortunately there was availability and they changed my booking. They were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We eat in the restaurant, food was great. Plenty of car parking spaces

The room had no wifi, lost power overnight and had no running water. It was OK, but would make me hesitant to return on future visits.

Very nice roast and lovely staff

Visited on Friday with my friend for lunch. We hadn't booked and it was busy so we were lucky to get a table. We were made to feel welcome and service was good. We both had scampi and chips which we both found very enjoyable. I used to visit this pub regularly many years ago as it was my gran's local so it was great to visit again and to find it's still good. Will definitely go back again.

Stayed the night as had holiday flight next day. Easy to book online. Had very pleasant spacious room. Comfy bed. Very clean. Great shower and spacious enclosure. Perhaps a second chair would be good in the bedroom. Staff at reception and in the bar really pleasant and helpful. Evening meal was really good. Will definitely stay again.

This is a nice old fashioned pub with a lovely cosy atmosphere. The food was typical pub food but served hot and extremely tasty. The staff were very accommodating in fitting us in as we had just landed on a flight from Tenerife and were quite hungry. Would highly recommend them.

Would like to thank James,Becki and Kelsey for their amazing hospitality made us feel so welcome. Also thank you to Tom and Rich in the kitchen for the top quality food we were served. The best steak I have ever eaten. We will definitely be returning and I wish we could give more than a 5☆ rating.

Just popped in for the a quick pub lunch. I had the pie and it was really good, helped with really crisp chips and a good glug of gravy. Well worth a visit.

We had three steaks, order one rare, one medium rare and one well done - all three were exactly right! Free parking if you register your vehicleatcthe bar. Stayed the night before flying from Bristol. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Plug/usb sockets next to bed. Comfortable beds. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

When we arrived all the tables were reserved however a table came free but was taken by other customers. Staff found us a table in the restaurant. Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff were fantastic. We were collecting from the airport that evening so them helping us get something to eat so close was great. Highly recommend.

We first visited here on the night before our honeymoon and had a delightful, romantic meal ovelooking the lakes and Bristol. Our recent return was for a late lunch, due to a lost bag at the airport delaying our homeward journey. Both times the food has been simple, but good quality, well cooked, very tasty and excellent value. Staff are friendly and helpful, service is swift and good and we recommend a visit.

Had a lovely meal with very good friends but the management must take control of other customer's that are creating an issue. over noisy shouting and letting the child run riot. The county side smell can not be helped but they could but closers on the doors.

The staff are always kind and thoughtfull, nothing is ever a probkem. The food is nice and the sevice is good, we go there fairley often.

Lovely food,nice room,comfy bed,only slight bother was the busy road....But after a vino or two you don't really notice it.......

Make sure you put your vehicle reg in the iPad. Good pub, good food, lovely staff!
