Needed to wait for another shop, so went in for a coffee. Good prices and coffee pleasant. Was fairly busy and the breakfast options looked good.

Have been a few times but now won't be going back due to very slow and disorganised service. It was busy when I arrived so ordered a take out large breakfast, after 10 mins a small table became available so sat down. After 20 mins people started to get breakfast who arrived after me After 30 mins still no food, so asked where my food was. After 35 mins after still more people got their food before me when ordering after me, I decided I had wasted enough time from my Dad and had my money returned. They knew I had ordered takeaway but do not do any ordering of food and basically the first person to say that's my food gets served. Not good service especially when busy. Had a breakfast sandwich. With egg, sausgae, bacon and mushrooms. Would I go back - No, the service is very poor.

Disapointed to find my favourite stop is closed until Sept,if id have known ,i could have stayed. CLoser to airport,you should change to "closed for Annual holidays") And now a 45 minute break ....

Best pizzas in Nailsea and Backwell. Owner makes his own pizza basis on the day and these are not frozen

Just off the main A370 main road in Backwell. Free parking outside. Next door to the vets. Although we only had coffee, (and chips!!), meals were also being served. Very good value for money. We will certainly call in again. The burgers and breakfast looked very good, all cooked to order. Cafe was very clean, with tables being cleaned after each customer. Well behaved dogs admitted. Cash only

Lovely place, excellent food, reasonably priced and the guy was a gent.

Myself and a few friends ordered chips in which they gave to us in a takeway box (even though we didn’t ask for takeway). We sat down at a table before shortly after being rudely told to leave halfway through eating our food since there were other customers that needed to sit down that were more important than us. We left in silence, embarrassed about being kicked out for no reason and will not be spending money here again.

Cash only. Cash. When was the last time you even saw cash? My chicken kebab was decent and I would go back again ...with cash this time!

The food is awful, quality of chips, the cheese on the pizza to the bread, it very low quality and disgusting.

I have to say the chicken shish kebab was stunning. Chicken was well cooked and succelent with plenty of flavour. Chilli sauce was well balanced with an excellent salad that was freSH and crisp accompanied with a garlic sauce that just pushed it over the top. 2 thumbs up Staff are always friendly and happy to have you in. We stopped here on a sunny day for a late lunch and to use the facilities. We had pizza and vegetarian kebabs made with halloumi. We had a friendly welcome and sat outside. Everything was very clean (including the indoor seating) and the food was delicious. Generous portions, delicious and well presented. The pizza arrived on wooden plates, looking rustic, loaded with cheese and pepperami, and not too salty.

Food was fresh and tasty. Well seasoned.

We came at late hours and they’ll still manage to serve us with some food with a smile! Really close to Bristol airport if you want to stop by on the way! 😃

Love the place. Rare that you can eat your kebab whilst it’s hot and fresh in the shop. Loads of room here to sit and eat. Kofte kebab is sooo tasty! Love the friendly staff very accommodating. Been back and will continue to do so

We have recently visited Backwell Grill twice in two weeks. The first time, we ordered a pizza to be delivered. The pizza was first class. The gentleman's manner on the phone was cheerie and very helpful, giving really good advice in a perfect way. The pizza was delivered promptly, and was piping hot. The second visit, we went round in person for a take away pizza. The preparation of the food was done in front of the customers. There was a range of most take away meals. The grill house also catered for eating in customers. We will certainly go there again

Really reliable and good quality food and do the best pizzas

Ordered a meal for delivery at 8pm, was told that we should expect delivery at around 8.40pm. It's now 9.15pm and despite telephoning them, no food has arrived. Will not be using them in future.

Lovely people run this place. Always friendly and they serve a perfect fried egg on toast. Great with kids too. My little one loves it as they always give him a lolly pop when he leaves!

We decided to visit Bristol from the DoubleTree at Yatton and stumbled across the Blackwell grill house for breakfast, that was a very good alternative to the overpriced breakfast in the DoubleTree hotel. They only grilled the food but the fried eggs were good. Disappointing wifi connection,

At first I was unsure until I tried this wonderful Grill House in Backwell. You will get a warm reception from these guys, service is great and also the quality and quantity of the meals is excellent. It's always busy with what seems to be a stream of regular customers - always a good sign. Thanks, I will visit again.

Even though it comes across as a place that a student would go to have a midnight kebab, it's nice and the food isn't that bad. It's nice to have it in the village

Best breakfast in the area! Boss man is always friendly, and both food and tables are smartly presented. Try the x-large breakfast if you get the chance!

Waited 10 minutes to be told that there was a half hour to 40 minute wait for food. They only have 7 tables! Polite but very badly managed.

Hemos estado aquí unas cuantas veces y realmente disfrutamos de nuestra gran desayuno inglés completo, siempre muy contento y siempre £1:00 consejo, pero desafortunadamente no fue un desayuno completo inglés ya más: no, no tomates croquetas de patata. Me temo que no será la última vez que nos visita por la buena relación calidad-precio es simplemente no hay más, así que nos cocinará nuestro propio desayuno de ahora en adelante.

Luchando por encontrar ningún sitio donde comer después de un vuelo nocturno y de casualidad de tropezar en este lugar. Aunque no es un elegante restaurante (cafetería) creo que pudimos comer y la comida estaba recién hecho y delicioso. La parrilla mixta que kebab mi marido pidió hubiera sido suficiente para dos personas y cuesta menos de 10 libras! Por suerte, no de comida para llevar, y nos alegra una caja para la comida del día siguiente. El personal turco no podría haber sido más servicial y sirven comida hasta las 11:00. Esta va a ser nuestra parada regular al volar desde el aeropuerto de Bristol.

Everything is the cheapest produce they can find, the egg yolks look white and are slimey it's more of a slice of fat than bacon chips are cold and the sausage that was the only thing manageable to eat was dry as a nuns c**** never going back.

He estado muchas veces en los últimos meses y he probado todos los desayunos y los pinchos de día. Calidad es excelente y precios competitivos. Servicio de entrega a domicilio también fiable y rápido y el personal muy agradable. Las patatas fritas son especialmente buenos y deben pedirse independientemente de lo que estás comprando - son buenos. No te recomiendo una visita.

Es una casa grill. La comida no es gourmet o Michelin, pero está bien para una comida. Fui a este restaurante constantemente como yo vivo en Backwell y la mayoría del tiempo he estado satisfechos.

La comida aquí nunca falla, el personal es amable, porciones de comida son fabulosas y los precios son muy buenos, no tengo nada malo que decir

I've had quite a few breakfast sandwiches in my time but this places Sausage and Egg sandwich really hit the spot.Need to try some of the late night food but so far very impressed.

Working near by have had a few breakfasts in and to takeaway and been very happy all cooked fresh to order and very tasty. Also had a few jacket potatoes to take away which have also been very nice good portions and fresh fillings. Hope people go in and try this place Backwell is lacking a good eat in and takeaway food place at a reasonable price! Will be back to try done more off the menu x

We have had Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Meal at the Backwell Grill House and found that the staff were friendly people, very accommodating and gave a good service. The prices are reasonable and excellent value. They also do the best steaks in the area. They also do a takeaway service and delicery.

Have eaten here and had takeouts. Food is always hot, fresh & extremely tasty. Not often you get such great tasting food from this sort of establishment. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely be becoming regulars.

Don't Bother! I tried this place for breakfast with my partner as we live just down the road. First impressions, tacky and bad decor. Inattentive staff.A plate of missing food, cold tea and burnt toast. When trying to complain i was ignored three times.Backwell's grill house won't last. Their food is only worth morning hangovers were you don't care what your eating as long as its cheap and nasty.
