I wanted to change something on the menu and there was no hesitation to meet my requirements. I was absolutely fine to choose something else if they could not. But wanted to mozzarella sticks in a burger and not felafel. Service was outstanding, quick, polite and friendly. Food quality was excellent and the pub itself is clean, well organised and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Very reasonably priced. Ploughmans was huge and kids portions available for everything. Huge garden. Very relaxed and an amazing selection of ciders

If you like Thatchers and/or cider this place is an absolute treat!! Really nice decor, up market but friendly and all the staff were really welcoming. Food was amazing and worth the prices. We will be back!

We booked for 5pm when service was just starting. The pub and restaurant is beautiful in decor. The staff were attentive. The range of Thatchers ciders is amazing!! We came for our last night holiday meal and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing. The only disappointment was that they don't do a child's burger which is what my daughter wanted. Hey ho, she had the adult one instead 😂 We will definitely be back next year and every year from now on!! What a gem!!

We’re local so come here a lot. Great food, top cider. We keep coming back!! Great in the summer outside, cosy in the winter. Menu changes regularly but keeps some staples all year round. There’s always something new to try. Occasionally you’ll see the mutton pie on the menu. Don’t think twice and try it. Marvellous.

Great service, good overcooked and significant levels of salt added to some dishes. Overall disappointing.

We cycled the strawberry line recently on a hot day so decided to drop in for a pint. As a huge thatchers fan, it didn't disappoint! Pub is really nice and we'll worth a visit 👌

One of the best dining experiences I've had in recent memory. Expensive but truly worth it. I had crispy beef to start which came with a tasty salad base drizzled with honey, and a gorgeous pork main that came with a quirky prune puree. We enjoyed our meal in the lovely greenhouse room, which is a roomy and pleasant space with lots of hanging plants and large windows for the sun to shine in. This venue made our anniversary very special and we will absolutely visit again.

I guess you could call The Railway In. The Thatchers Signature Pub, huge range of Thatchers Ciders and some decent beers too. Food is always good whether you stop for a bar meal or in the restaurant the quality is top notch. Ample room inside and a great space outside to sit in the sun. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area.

First off I want to say that they sell the world's best cider here. Unfortunately the food didn't hold up to our expectations. The mussels tastes like they were undercooked and felt gritty, we found the burger buns to be very though and the falafel dry. The tartar sauce was the best we ever had nonetheless.

Beautiful place. We love locally but had never been in so we chose to go for my husbands birthday. Staff were wonderful, food choice were great, lots of what you would think was a standard meal but with a thatchers twist. All the drinks available as well as a great choice for non cider drinkers. Huge garden area with plenty of parking. Great little surprise of brownies with a happy birthday slate at the end of the evening so really thoughtful. More expensive than some places but the quality was amazing and lived up the positive reviews from friends. Highly recommend and will go again. Very busy on weekends, recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Usually you get good food and service at the Railway, but not tonight! Service was poor, food late and parts of orders missed. I finally received a small piece of over-cooked fish with some lettuce leaves on a small plate filled with dry tasteless French fries. Still hungry I tried the pudding which was equally bad. Very disapointing!

Unbelievable service, especially from one person called Chloe. We felt like the only people in the restaurant, yet it was super busy. We are going to become regular date night attendees.

Sat on the site of “Myrtle Farm” the home of “Thatchers Cider Makers” the pub is a fabulous setting to dine. The food was excellent as was the care and attention of the staff. The large glass windows allow the sunn to illuminate the dining area with the backdrop being the Thatcher Factory. The menu is Gluten Free friendly with great selection of delicious dishes to choose from. One item that caught us off guard was the tomato sauce which was not GF however the staff were diligent and asked the chef just to make sure . Our waitress raced to our table with a pot of “Heinz” tomato sauce saying “please don’t eat the one you have” My daughter suffered a small reaction but the diligence of the Lady who served us was brilliant. If it was not hundreds of miles away we would dine there more often. We will book on the Tour soon then dine in the Thatchers Railway Inn Paul (Bury Lancashire)

Lovely pub, and great food. Lucky to be able to visit on a Monday during summer months and have a quiet lunchtime. Great for a family catch up. Very attentive staff, and prompt service.

Excellent place, beautiful design, clean, welcoming, popped in after tasting / buying some of their Ciders from their shop. The best family Inn by far.

Lovely pub/restaurant. We had Sunday roast which was perfect, maybe slightly high on the price for what you got but the food was perfect so no complaints

Really nice pub meal. We had the fish and chips and it didn’t let us down. Being next door to Thatchers ciders it had a great range of ciders. Sat in the garden on a warm night. Perfect.

We waited to be seated but were ignored by two staff (deep in a conversation about seating a table for three or four) until an older gentleman working at the bar noticed us, and came forward. He seated us and apologised for the wait. No worries. The food was delicious and well presented. We will go there again.

what a stunning pub , very welcoming for families, food delicious great value for money and staff absolutely amazing so helpful and polite didnt catch the lady’s name looked like a manager long brown hair with white bow she was absolutely exceptional would recommend this place to any looking for a lovely sunday zero faults

Very average. Just had the mixed grill at £25 plus £4 for chips. It was a very beige meal under cooked and small portions. The thatcher tour was great but the meal was a real let down.

Food mixed, had problem with undercooked pork which took an age to sort out but kitchen was very slow on day we visited despite being literally the first customers there. Some food was great though and pub itself was gorgeous. Unsure if I’ll be back as very expensive for what it was.

A little overpriced for the quality of the food, in our opinion. Service slow. Slow cooked beef was the best of the meal and amazing chips.

WoW - What an amazing Pub/Restaurant. We had Lunch after a great tour of the Thatchers Factory. Food was excellent, service was very professional and what better than an array of Thatchers Ciders to wash it all down! We will be back 👍

Great food and very nice inside and outside areas.

Very nice building on the road on the way to Weston. Must visit the brewery next time we come. Have been a couple of times before so was a little disappointed in the size of the battered haddock I had. Tasted very nice but was more like a fish finger than a full size fish. My son had the burger,so no complaints there. Staff very pleasant, very clean and has a good atmosphere, even though there weren't many in the restaurant.

Nice clean and friendly place. Visited several times whilst working in the area, and brought family a few times too.

Lovely outside seating area. However because there is a limited menu outside the vegan/vegetarian option is a bit lacklustre especially for the price... I must say everyone enjoyed there food the pita bread was just a let down... And obviously all the fabulous ciders on tap were great!

Went for a lovely tour of Thatchers with my family, then stopped for food. The food took a while to co.e out but when arrived was absolutely amazing. Would thoroughly recommend the tour the food to soak up the alcohol 🍻

Food was good, not great. Felt ripped off as VAT was added to the bill, which I believe may be illegal, plus service charge with no option to cancel it.

The staff were very slow to take orders. They didn’t know what was on the menu when we asked questions. On each course there was at least one item that was not enjoyable.

Great pub/ restaurant attached to Thatchers Cider brewery. Opportunity to tour the factory try all the varieties of cider and eat in the bar, restaurant or outside weather permitting.

Lovely Thatchers pub. Great selection of cider direct from the brewery next door. Had Sunday lunch a few years ago and it was excellent.

Very disappointed by the Station Kitchen (outside food) very poor choice, nothing for kids other than chips (£3.50) expensive for what you got (which was to be expected) and food just not that good. Chargrilled vegetable pitta (£8) made me very glad not to be vegi (got it for my 3yr & 9mnth old to share). Burger was pretty thin for £10 (no chips included). Was not even that impressed with the chips. The other two food options were haddock bites £10 and Chargrilled corn on the cob £5. Cider over £5 pint. Can't comment on the main indoor menu. Shame about the choice as there were lots of families and children outside and it's right next to Strawberry line.

It's my absolute favourite place to dine. The food, the service is spot on every time. The house special lasagne tastes fantastic, and the sweet menu is simply delicious.

Nice, slightly upmarket place, good food, nice atmosphere - feels like you ought to dress up a bit! Loads of parking.

Lovely walk to a lovely pub. Staff excellent but £8.00 for Welsh rarebit . One small piece of bread covered in Welsh rarebit with nothing else. Very disappointing.

Food was good & service excellent.

Just arrived home and chuffed to bits after a delicious lunch in this beautiful restaurant. I can absolutely recommend the Chicken Schnitzel and Cider battered haddock. The young ladies who looked after us were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. So many dishes I wanted to try so we will definitely return.

We went as a party of four. My partner and both chose the gammon steak with egg, chips and pineapple chutney. I was rather disappointed. Both the gammon and the egg were overcooked. The gammon was quite tough to cut. The egg was fried but not at all runny. We both had the same experience with the food. The staff were pleasant and attentive. But the food let the place down.

Lovely pub plenty of parking and cycle parking facilities does a good selection of ales perfect stop of your using the strawberry line nearby… food is lovely however I personally would like to see more traditional dishes on the menu but don’t let this put you off…. Well worth a visit

Best service I have ever had. We went on Saturday (27/01/24) and had a lovely time. Service was quick and all staff were so friendly. The menu has something for everyone and of course the cider choice was amazing. Couldnt recommend more.

Our first ever visit for Sunday lunch and I must say it didn't disappoint. The staff, food , service everything was excellent. Everything is done to a very high standard. We will be back.

Large pub beside the Thatchers Cider factory with a beautifully designed, warm & spacious interior. We sat in the bar area on big comfy sofas. Dog friendly. Very helpful & friendly staff. Good menu with standard pub fare done well. Generous portions. We’ve already visited twice (staying g in an Airbnb in village for Xmas) & we’ll definitely be back.

About as close as you can get to the source of Thatchers without standing under the press, this pub is ideally suited (and rigjt by the Strawberry Line). However, I did find it a bit of a 'hungry horse' vibe - take that as you will. Service was friendly, but did find it lacked atmosphere (being a new build probably), and was extremely busy with families. Cider was of course, very nice - but I'd probably try to find a more authentic pub nearby to have one.

Excellent food and customer service for entertaining visiting guests. The main meals were well presented, tasty and good value. Of particular the salted caramel ice cream was well worth the visit in itself and look forward to further visits with close family

The menu looked great. Innovative and a bit different. However, the meal from the day’s specials list, was very below standard. I had sea bass which was hard and very over cooked. It came with ‘saffron potatoes’ which were tasteless. Plain small potatoes would have been better. The crab croquette was ok. I was excited by the sound of the dessert I ordered. Apple and brandy filo tart with extra bits. So disappointing. There was just a few thin slices of a very tasteless apple, no taste whatsoever of brandy and the filo pastry was underdone and stuck to the roof of my mouth. It was also very expensive. Such a pity. My advice to the Railway is to stop trying to be ‘fancy’. Stick to basics and do them well. Fancy ingredients on the menu are only impressive if they taste really good. Today’s meal was far from that.

Fantastic tour of Thatchers and a great meal post visit. Had Cornish Haddock with triple cooked chips, came with an ample portion of fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce and Curry sauce provided. Really was scrumptious and the chips divine. Would happily eat here again on my way through.

Went for food after the tour. Sat in the bar rather than the main restaurant. Food was a little more expensive compared to other places however you get the quality you pay for. Can really taste the difference with the quality of the meat. Cider wise I would recommend Cheddar Valley as its a bit lighter and easier to drink. Would love to go there and eat again.

Excellent public house on the Thatchers Cider complex. Obviously a full range of Thatchers Cider and the Gin they make too. Beautifully decorated bar area with lovely views and comfortable seating. We didn’t eat however the restaurant was set extremely well and the tables looked lovely. The menu read well and perhaps we will try it another time. Booking essential according to the bar staff. Large beer garden. Spotless throughout. Large car park with disabled parking spaces available. Disability access throughout and disabled toilets on the ground floor - main toilets are up the stairs on the second floor.

Food was awful it came out cold sent it back, I think that it was microwaved as it was back in seconds and the food and plate were red hot. Then had a cheek to put on a service charge.Cider was good
