We recently held a 90th birthday celebration here. Through out the booking process the staff were responsive and helpful. On the day everything was flexible and well organised enabling us to enjoy having 4 generations of our family together for the first time. Overall it was an excellent day. There was an error on our bill on the day however once again it was sorted out amicably and a refund was made.

We have visited the Fox and Goose about 4 times since our usual restaurant went into decline.if I had known about this place I would have gone before.the staff are friendly the food is good it is now going to be our regular restaurant.Only downside if the restaurant is full the parking is difficult you can’t park on the roadside so it may be a case of waiting for someone to leave

I stayed in the Inn for one night to fly out early the next morning. Excellent service! Especially the lady in the black and white stripped shirt, blonde hair. She really helped me out. Checking me in, helping me get a taxi for 4am. I had drinks and food, all just lovely. Only complaint is that ALL tables are reserved. So if you are staying at the Inn it’s a bit tricky to get dinner. Overall it was fantastic. Will stay again over the airport hotel!

Great food,friendly service,although most of the tables were reserved,they made room for 3 of us.The food was excellent,really enjoyed,even my fussy eater daughter enjoyed,so top marks.We fly out of Bristol often,so we will be back...Highly recommended.

A cosy pub with places to stay overnight. The room was quite spacious as for the single room. Very close to the Bristol airport. Super friendly staff! Unfortunately, as it is situated by the busy road, rather noisy.

Visited here again recently after a fantastic visit a while back and I was not disappointed. The staff were efficient and really very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, great care was taken for a friend of mine who has allergies. The food was really tasty and served quickly without being rushed. We enjoyed drinks the large beer garden which was really peaceful, fantastic that we could just scan the QR on the table and get our drinks brought to us so we didn’t have to loose our spot in the sunshine. We will certainly be back soon!

Literally popped in while on our way to Bristol Airport. What a lovely little pub. Perfect for anyone who may be slightly too early to the airport or if you would like to avoid the astronomical cost of airport grub. Perfect portions as well as lovely staff. Will definitely be coming in again.

Greeted by happy helpful member of staff, gave us a table number, ordered a steak pie, chip & pea’s, must say it was the best steak pie I’ve ever had, will definitely be having it again.

Restaurant was busy but a nice vibe. Staff very friendly and we had a table booked which was in a area that was a bit noisy. The lady behind the bar asked us if we wanted to move to a quieter area which was appreciated after a long drive. Also stayed in one of the family rooms. Great size for the 3 of us and comfortable.

Tom and Liv fantastic hosts nothing was too much trouble and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was outstanding thank you very much.

I visit this pub regularly, really love the food and the staff are so lovely! The lasagna is the best I’ve had, so tasty and it’s always served hot and quickly. Lovely old fashioned pub with a beautiful garden which they also serve food in on sunny days!

We happen to come & cross the Fox & Goose by chance in April, the staff were so accommodating, as they were so busy, but were able to squeeze us in. We had a lovely meal the staff are friendly & efficient, so much so, we booked again for June, as we were flying out of Bristol. We shall enjoy a 3rd visit in October 2024

Came in today and had the cowboy burger. Great offer to have a burger and a drink for £12.25 . The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They all served with a smile. I'm not much of a dessert person but my wife had the chocolate fudge cake which looked great. We will definitely be back.😁

Rude, abrupt un-welcoming and all before we've even ordered. Possibly one of the worst experiences I've had when stopping for pub grub... whilst on rout to the airport 19 of us chose to stop here to get food before the fun begins. Immediately met a hostile welcoming questiong why we had not prebooked and made to feel uncortable. Then advised kitchen would not be open until 12 ... weren't an issue but surprised that with being so close to the airport. Drinks were ordered and one of our party had bugs in her drink, upon returning it to the bar was made out to be liar. Without an apology was given a replacement but extremely begrudgingly. We then advised the bar staff that we would place our food orders in preparation but again met with attitude and sternly told that nothing would be prepared until post 12pm. Then once ordered were placed one of the staff took it upon herself to coming and belittle everyone about our tables even though were all put in 1 corner of the pub. At this point I decided I could not tolerate the attitude and how unwelcoming the staff were. Whilst leaving I explained why were leaving and was then followed into the car park and was shouted at across the car park to justify why such an appalling and unwelcoming attitude was aimed at us . WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WOULD NOT RETURN. EXETREMELY DISAPOINTING FOR A NATIONWIDE CHAIN.

Great location only 5 minutes drive away from Bristol airport with great views from the garden. The staff are friendly and courteous I would recommend the Fox and Goose to friends and family.

Our first stay at the Fox & Goose. We chose it for its location and what a discovery! Our room was clean tidy and wonderfully decorated. The meals were generous, hot and delicious. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for you. Will stay again and recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a getaway or a delicious meal

Bit of a disappointing visit if I’m honest. We turned up and the bar staff told us that we couldn’t order food until 4.30pm due to a chef calling in sick. Bear in mind we had booked a table for 4.15pm (yes- 15 mins of a difference is a big difference when you are on your way to the airport!). Our table was table 11- opposite a fire door. When we arrived at our table it was clean, and restaurant area quiet. Quiet, except for 2 children (approx. Age 8-10) who were just roaming the area. One child sat opposite our table and entertained our 1 year old son… fine but then our food arrived and it was frankly annoying. No parent/ carer of this child to be seen. And the chair the child was sat on was left blocking a fire exit- no staff picked up on this issue. The other child was opening and banging shut the fire exit. My husband closed it 3 times; I then had had enough and went to the bar staff about this. Children need to be supervised at all times… The food- average quality for the price. A great location for the pub but to be honest could be so much better. Toilets are run down too.

We had a fantastic experience. Warm welcome, no queuing at the barto order drinks or food. War friendly feel from staff. Food was excellent. My partner had the cheese burger and said it was the best he had had in a long while. I had the chicken pie which was delicious.

My husband and I made a visit to Fox & Goose on our way to Bristol airport. We had pre booked a table after reading some good reviews as this was all we had to go on having travelled from South Wales and not knowing the area. We were not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was 1st class and served promptly which is a plus point if you have a flight to catch. The food was delicious, we had fish & chips. It was obvious that the restaurant is well used by locals as well as travelers. It was a lovely start to our holiday and set us up for the rest of the day as we would be reaching our destination too late to eat and do not find the food particularly good at the airport. We will definitely be doing this again for future flights. Thank you all at Fox & Goose

We made booking for food for 5 people slot between14.45 and 16.15 we were slightly late due to delay of aircraft we arrived at 15.00 to be told that the kitchen was closed and no food was available if I had known kitchen closed at this time I wouldn't have booked it was not mentioned in any of the emails or phone call that I had so were left disappointed and had to find food else where luckily we managed to find somewhere else to accommodate us

Circumstances beyond my control led to a late arrival, which meant I booked but was unable to attend the hotel, and this left an issue with the bill. The management have been very polite, helpful and professional in resolving the issue.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food good quality and portions the same. Beer was a bit expensive but the pint of Pedigree was very excellent.

Had a ‘meal’ here today, however though the surrounding may be authentic the food most definitely isn’t! Nothing more than frozen chips & peas with accompanying meat/pie, ‘gravy’ was brown water and flour with absolutely no taste. Have to say the wait staff were very friendly and really apologetic even though the dreadful offering was nothing to do with them. Offered free pudding but declined as wanted to make the point that we were giving an honest review of main mean meal, not trying to get something for nothing, however we will NEVER eat at this place again. Would strongly recommend you don’t eat there unless you are happy with frozen/ping food?

The bar area is a bit tired in places. It is a very traditional pub atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and amenable and happy to help. We were able to have a bit banter with them and soon felt like regulars. The room was bright and airy, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a busy road but this did not disturb us. We ate in the bar and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good, nice and hot and quality ingredients.

Awful experience very rude landlord. We asked for a simple item swap on my child’s roast to which the landlord was sat behind me overhearing my request to the bar staff and called across to her staff “you have charged for that extra yorkshire pudding haven’t you”. I was appalled. The the meal arrived, it was luke warm and the roast potatoes were under cooked and hard. The beef was tasteless. Overall awful experience to which I will not be returning.

We pre booked as a large family party for brunch on the way to the airport. The team were terrific. Very helpful and accomodating, including the kitchen. Food was lovely. Thank you. See you again in a few months.

Great for a night before flight

It's hard to be critical really as the venue is lovely, the prices of food are reasonable but the jury is out on the quality of food. On this occasion my wife and I visited for curry night. What we got for the price we paid was good, but the quality of the chicken korma was a little disappointing. The sauce was quite watery & there was very little chicken which was also quite tough and rubbery.

As a continental European, for me this a pub as it should be. Families enjoying their Sunday Roast, pints of best bitter on the table and a terrace and garden to enjoy the march sun. Don't miss it!

Excellent and just 5+ minutes drive from the Silver Zone car park @ Bristol airport. Good evening meal & no hassle about leaving in the very early morning (4:30!). We'll return.

Used this hotel a few times and always been impressed as we call in for a bite to eat while waiting for a flight ..sadly we arrived 15 mins before opening and asked to use the loo as the wife was in need ..but was refused entry to use the toilet ...won't be returning .wasn't impressed that they couldn't let a woman use the toilet when in desperation.

We drove around Bristol airport to find a pub to have lunch in before our friend’s flight and we had to part ways. We discovered this one and thought we’d give it a go. We walked in and asked if we had a reservation, we didn’t, we were then worried we wouldn’t get in. Very kindly the staff member made some alterations which meant we could. We were so grateful. She also then told us about what items weren’t available which I thought was so helpful to be told before looking at the menu to save any disappointment and help with selection. Also told us of a change from skinny chips to big ones. The menu was so vast we were spoilt for choice. I went for the southern fried chicken burger and it was sensational. We all loved our choices. I also spotted such great care and consideration given to a customer in a wheelchair whilst we were there. Holding open doors when they spotted their arrival and altering the table to ensure they’d fit.
