Had a fantastic engagement party held at Lasseter's! Couldn't have asked for a greater venue to host our celebration that had great views, entertainment & facilities. Kaysha did an amazing job to scope out and support our requirements to make sure everything went well. Lasseter's provided a great range of food & drink options to match everyone's taste buds. In addition, provided a few surprises such as complimentary sweets and a congrats sign! I would fully recommend Lasseter's to anyone looking for a venue hire that is both great value for money and tailored to what you need without breaking the bank! Great experience all round! 🍾🎉

Attended for a bottomless brunch with a group of friends. Food and cocktails were all fabulous quality. Great location and building but epic wasted opportunity for great venue. No food served today despite menus being put outside. Decent draft beer but poor cocktails, very limited choice. Could be superb, why not have BBQ outside, proper cocktails, table service? Missed opportunity given grandeur and central location. Worth going for pint given sea view and decent music.

Wow! What a lovely day we had at Lasseters! Kaysha was absolutely amazing helping me to organise Lunch for my best friends hen do from start to finish! The restaurant is in the perfect spot. We had a lovely room to ourselves upstairs with a beautiful view of the pier. The food was really good! Everyone was so happy with their meals. The lemon meringue was the best I have EVER tasted! The effort Kaysha went to made the day so special! She organised bags of sweets for everyone with personalised labels and a sign! It was such a lovely personal touch. We also had name cards which meant the bride could place them around and do a little seating plan. Thank you so much, can’t wait to come back soon!

We visited Lasseters on Sunday 11/09/2022 there were 4 adults and 1 child aged 12. It was early evening and we had such a nice time. We ate inside, we had mainly the chicken burger which was juicy and really the best fries I have had in ages. The manageress served us and she was so pleasant and professional in her manner towards us and she made it seem that nothing was a problem (sorry I did not get her name) but I stayed and had a good chat with her after our delightful meal. The pricing was excellent for the five of us. It was my first visit to Weston Super Mare and I was very impressed with Weston. Lasseters restaurant impressed me even more. Very clean facilities too, toilet cubicles with wash basin in each and very clean indeed. There is a disabled lift to get to the first floor too. I recommend Lasseters highly.

Currently outdoor as a „popup“ with a small menue. Food was mediocre, to say it friendly. Service was slow. And it was not possible to get the chicken wings as starters, they could only bring it all together. And no, the place was not so crowded that they were over-busy, the terrace was half empty.

We have been waiting for this place to be open when we walk past. They say they are open when the sun is up but they have always been "just closing " when we have tried to visit before. Long wait for service, we both ordered fish and chips and sat and waited. After about 10 minutes we were told that they had run out. We swapped to burgers. My partner's chicken burger was like a mini fillet and completely dry. There were about 10 chips each on child size plates. Awful. This place cannot get it right. They started out as as a high end restaurant which Weston obviously did not want. Then they moved to pub type food which was actually quite nice but this is poor quality food. My advice is just to have a drink there.

We had a great carvery lunch at Lasseter's today. I went with my wife and our two teenaged children, and my in-laws. We had a table downstairs, in the very pleasant Art Deco influenced restaurant. There's plenty of room between the tables and, despite the abundance of stylish glass, steel and ceramic tiles, I didn't find it too noisy. There are lovely views of the pier. The staff were very friendly and bring drinks to the table. All the food was excellent - there was a choice of meats, a vegetarian option (nut roast) and a good selection of veg. The huge Yorkshire puddings were clearly home made and the roast parsnips were particularly well cooked. Cauliflower cheese was also excellent. Everything was a cut above your standard lunch time carvery. These are the sort of veg you'd hope to get if you ordered a £20 plus main course in the evening. The high-end feel extended to the tableware, too. Beautiful glasses were laid on the table with a water jug - the crockery and cutlery were really nice. The kind of stuff that makes me think 'Ooh, we should get some of these, they're lovely'.So, what were my niggles? Well, I'm vegetarian. My wife mentioned this when booking, because we understand that people need to be given advance notice that they're going to need to break out the nut roast. Fair enough. We also thought to ask whether we needed to advise the kitchen that we'd want a nut roast in advance of collecting our food. We were told we didn't - just go up and collect it.Well, it turns out that wasn't the case, so the chap carving the meat said give it two minutes and the nut roast would be with me - might I like to collect my vegetables? "Yes, thank you!" I said, and did just that. Another staff member said my nut roast would be brought to the table. 'That's all good then', I thought.Except it didn't turn up for quarter of an hour - about the time needed to cook it, I'd estimate. I didn't want my food to get cold, so I'd nearly finished it by the time the roast arrived. I wasn't too put out, because I was having a nice time and the veg was great: I prepared myself to wave away the apology for tardiness with a good-natured, 'Tish! Think nothing of it!' but there was no apology, which was a pity. The other niggle was being charged for normal-sized meals for our children, who both had small portions (the difference is how many slices of meat you get). This was speedily rectified, but had it not been for my wife's eagle eye we'd have overpaid.Still - these niggles do not dampen my enthusiasm for a return visit. Definitely the best carvery in Weston and I'm struggling to think of any carvery that could best it. Fantastic meal. Puddings and coffees were also superb, and the drinks menu is extensive.

I have never written a review before, however my recent visit to this beautifully picturesque restaurant situated on the (not so picturesque) WSM seafront had me so totally blown away that I am compelled to leave some feedback! From the second my friends and I stepped foot in this gorgeous locale we were looked after with the warmest level of service I have experienced in this town. Certainly the food was not the cheapest (by Weston's standards) but to be honest you get what you pay for as it was simply superb. Having viewed a few of my fellow "keyboard warriors" I can genuinely say that anything less than 5 stars should be ignored for this venue. Lastly I'd like to make special thanks to the young girl who looked after us almost exclusively. She was as delightful as the Sunday carvery itself.

I had a gift voucher from friends to have an afternoon tea here.I phoned to book a table for Sunday afternoon and spoke to a very helpful member of staff who took my booking. We arrived at 3.00pm on a gloriously sunny Sunday afternoon and were shown to our table. Without asking, a jug of iced water was put on the table which was well received.A presentation box was put on the table which had a good selection of different teas for us to select from and we each had a tea pot with boiling water. The box remained on the table for us to make further selections and our hot water was topped up when it got low Another display case was put on the table which had:A nice selection of sandwichesTwo scones each along with jam and clotted creamA beautiful selection of individual small cakesI have no idea how much it cost as it was a present from friends but it was a fantastic afternoon. Out table was inside (way to hot outside) but we could see the beach and seafront which made a great atmosphereI would certainly recommend this establishment if you like old fashioned English afternoon teaOne suggestion for the manager though,The background music was pop music and not in keeping with the surroundings, I would have thought that gentle classical or piano background music would be more suitable. Attended the Red Cross Presentation and buffet lunch Tuesday of last week. The Restaurant let the organisers down. There was a lot of kitchen /restaurant set up noise marring the quality of sound of the speakers, the lunch was poor, food lacked imagination , hot food was cold and unappetising, cold food looked as though it had been prepared by a junior school first day of domestic science. This when first reopened employed experienced staff who understood service without servility. Have to believe that the Executive Chef was unaware of kitchen operation on the 25th of June.

Oh my goodness, what a disappointment. We decided to give this beautifully laid out restaurant another chance. We had visited when it first opened and when it had a more extensive and superior menu. However, we were underwhelmed, to say the least. So eight of us thought we would give it another go. Two of our party tried unsuccessfully to book a table over the phone for a number of days, it took a visit to the restaurant to secure a table, which was totally unnecessary as the place was almost empty. This time the menu had been radically changed to a more basic and uninspiring choice. No matter, we made our choices only to be told we had selected from the ‘sample menu’ and those particular dishes were not available that evening! We then had to reconsider from the uninspiring selection on another menu. Five of us had the fish of the day, which was cod. It was presented well but it was so small, it wasn’t enough for a child. One of our party spoke to a member of staff about the size of the cod and he said that was a normal portion -certainly in no restaurant I’ve been before! The prices of the wines and beers were acceptable. I’m sorry to say the consensus was we wouldn’t be going back and unfortunately this restaurant isn’t going to survive without a major change. What a shame.

Food good, service good, organisation should have been better. Value for money - OK. Would be happy to revisit - at a push. This venue pre-booked for a family party of 18 several weeks in advance with meal choices confirmed at least 1 week before the event. Table was set - 2 places short! After settling the food and drinks bill, a round of 17 shots (hopefully discounted) was attempted to be ordered. Negotiations failed - so the party then moved on to carry on party elsewhere. Guess manager wanted to be elsewhere? Would add while party was lively - nobody was over imbibed. Not the ending of family party that was expected.

My friend and I went to Lasseters for Sunday carvery, met by a very nice man, very polite, very pleasant. Excellent carvery, good choice of meats, vegetables and wonderful gravy. Good selection of puddings if you wanted one, reasonable price. Excellent meal for very reasonable price £12.99 for carvery, really nice chef too.

The Restauarant is attempting to set a high standard, Food is excellent, Inside and Outside dining is available but be careful when outside staff can forget you and it is noisy by reason of location on main traffic route. Be prepared to pay a price for high standard. Wine list is good but again pricey. Staff need more training and better attitude.

Strange start to this visit on Tuesday in Easter week. Restaurant closed monday and tuesday. Found it open when passing the second time and made a reservation for lunch. Special Easter menu presented upon arrival.Diana and I chose the gourmet cheese burger. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked thick 8 oz home made burger with fresh skin on fries, wonderful light and crispy onion rings, pot of home made coleslaw, all nicely presented.A good, but overpriced Argentinian Malbec to wash it all down.Dessert was an impressively large creme brulee and quite delicious.Total cost for two £49 95. Not the place for a cheap lunch, but worth it.

Lovely staff who fitted us in as we were needing food just before going to the tea dance in the ballroom. Food was very good quality not the usual burnt/ dry offering you usually find for a carvary it was nice quality meat and good choice of veg

Tried the carvery for the first time today. The meat and vegetables were well cooked and presented but seemed to get cold quite quickly which was a shame. As it was Easter Sunday, it would have been a nice touch to have had flowers on the table but there were no decorations whatsoever so it all felt a bit basic.Pleasant waitress but I don’t think we’d rush back for a Sunday Lunch.

Very well presented restaurant with helpful, friendly staff. Our visit was early in the season which may have accounted for the non-availability of our first choice from the menu but the food which was served was excellent.

Carvery Sunday lunch with good selection of veggies and meats but sadly tepid. Front of house staff were attentive but would not go again due to rubbish roasties and everything being luke warm.

Pleasant staff and interior, with clean bathrooms. The food is a little stodgy. My wife had fish and chips, which was a little on oily side. My burger was filling, but the fried onion rings unnecessary; instead more salad and chips with a sauce, would have been preferred.

Steak was well done instead of medium rare, sent back and came back out medium well. Dauphinoise potatoes were very salty and buttery and had barely any potato in. Pork and chicken in the starter sharing board were dry. Bit disappointed as it was for partner's birthday.

Staff pleasant enough but were a tad vague as if it was the first day of opening. The food was lovely but SO many onion rings - not really necessary. I had to ask for a butter knife. Be aware though that if you are eating in there early evening there is a 20% discount. This was not applied to our bill, so we had to ask for it and the bill was re-issued with no dispute. Great selection on the menu. The wine waiter wasn't particularly knowledgeable.

From the minute we arrived the staff were fantastic. We were given plenty of time to choose from the menu and there was no hint of being hurried out. A great selection of wines, spirits, beers and ciders. Our waitress was great fun and extremely polite. We were a table of 9 so she had her work cut out. She was never flustered once. The food arrived in good time and was absolutely scrumptious. The starters were spot on. I went for the mushrooms on sourdough really flavoursome. Main courses ranged from the most amazing Cod, which barely fitted on the plate to ham egg and chips which again would satisfy the largest of appetites. Perhaps not the most extensive selection of mains but when food is this good, why spoil it by filling your menu up with too many choices. Price wise it was very reasonable. Starters, main course,5 deserts, a couple of rounds of drinks including 2 cocktails and 10 per cent for a tip, set us back £24 per person. Amazing food at a more than reasonable price. Everyone left full and happy. Really enjoyed our visit here and will certainly be coming back. I almost forgot to mention the great view to the beach with the tide fully in, just added to the occasion.

Third time I've tried to go. Each time had to wait 5 minutes for staff to stop socialising out the back before they saw to us. Only to be told they don't have enough food to go around (2 people in restaurant) or the chef just didn't want to cook.

19 of us went for a 30th birthday meal on a Saturday night (had previously been to a large family 50th birthday back in the summer) - once again the food was delicious and the service good. We ate in the mezzanine area and we were able to decorate the tables as we wanted. Alex and his staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend Lasseters.

We had a very good meal last night at Lasseters. We had a fish sharing platter to start and that was a meal on its own and very good quality. Then the main courses arrived and we simply couldn't finish it all. The portion sizes are quite generous; the quality of the food was very good and the service was discreet, helpful, timely and very efficient and friendly. The prices are very reasonable too. It's also a lovely restaurant, beautifully furnished and finished; couldn't fault a single thing.

We stopped in to have a meal after a morning on the beach with 3 small children. We were looking on the menu outside to find something sutible for all of us when a member of staff came out to meet us and answer our menu questions and took us to a table. It was a very hot day and she was very quick to get us a jug of water and make sure we had cups for the children. The food was very nice and the children had spaghetti which I thought was good but it had too many new veggies in it for the kids, I would have happily ordered this. Myself and my wife had mussels, which we do every holiday and they were very fresh and we enjoyed them and all our lunch was very enjoyable. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the venue was open and airy and had a nice view. It felt too clean for and meal with small children! It was a enjoyable and memorable cap to our holiday.

Very nice being able to sit outside in the cold with the table fire burning, was very cosy. Out of my price range though £75 for three people and I only had chips and garlic bread.

At first sight you may thing this is a greesy spoon with outdated suroundings BUT don't be fooled we ordered the breakfast which was amazing and tasted absolutely lovely and being served large mugs of coffee The lady owner and lady chef were very welcoming and very nice people and very helpful It's a proper old school cafe and we enjoyed our visit Well worth a visit you won't be disappointed
