Second time staying here for our stop over before our flight. We love the Dundry Inn, such a lovely little pub and we find a great way to start our holiday. We had food this time and it was delightful. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The only problem again was the showers, they’re like lava or freezing. 😂 We are now expecting twins so I fear it will be our last time staying but not our last visit. The two trips we had have given great memories

Stopped here for a evening meal and drinks , lovely location right next door to a church . Sat in beer garden with our dog inside pub dog friendly too we both had jerk Chicken which came out quickly and hot. Plenty of food on menu , we then both had pudding which was sticky toffee with custard which was also quickly delivered and hot and tasty all in all staff really friendly food was great and location food too , thank you .

A great place to stop after cycling up that hill !! There's also a great circular walk (about 4 miles) around the top of the hill.

We were arriving late but were able to self check in very easily. Bed and room in general was fine with a decent hot shower. Only negative was that the walls were thin between the other room and we could hear their alarm go off at 3.30am and their every word until leaving so didn’t sleep the best.

Ordered food for first time from The Dundry Inn and it was delivered on time, was still piping hot on arrival and the food was also very tasty and properly cooked to your liking. I will definitely order again!

Cozy pub where we had a delicious meal.

This was a very good find, it's one of those pubs that's close to Bristol, that you drive past. The welcome and service were genuine and good, it's a local pub that welcomes dog's and walker's. A really great place to stop for a coffee, drink or meal. We will be back Still good in July 24

Never go here it was way to expensive. Nearly £20 just for 3 pints.

Nice local pub with garden with friendly helpful staff and good food.

We were looking forward to a quiet drink, instead we were greated by a bar maid who clearly was not happy to be there. We were told we could only have one drink, as she wanted to close. Seeing it was only 19.30 was a bit of a shock, she abruptly told us there was limited stock . So ordered a pint of lager which I complained was flat, and just poured into another glass. And then told me why do you bother to come here as all you do is complain. So over all not the best evening, plus £14 for a pint of larger and a baileys.

We stopped by for a family dinner after a bank holiday day out. The staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them checking on us regularly. The menu is fabulously varied so something for everyone from usual pub classics to Caribbean food! Everything we ordered was above and beyond… the jerk chicken wing starer was huge! The prawn cocktail around 4 times bigger than a usual portion and the pate was the best we have ever had!… the mains were fab too, the Dundry burger was about a foot high! We will be returning very soon.. highly recommended for certain

Came here on a whim for and was greeted with the most lovely smile from the waitress Carly, couldn't be sweeter! Has an absolutely lush veggie lasagne and my best friend said the jerk chicken was the best she's ever had! Just a quick drive from the city madness of Bristol and you're in a lovely scenic rural place.

Fantastic pub and rooms. Rooms are perfect size and clean. Staff and service excellent, nothing is too much of a problem!

Came here today to try the Sunday roast as I've heard good reviews about it, the staff were very welcoming as for the Sunday roast it was very enjoyable, so impressed were coming back next Saturday for an evening meal with family

Ideal location if you don't want to sleep in central Bristol and close to the airport if that is where you are going/coming from. Very comfortable bedroom, food is really good, I tried the Caribbean pork belly and it was delicious. Finally the view over Bristol from Dundry is quite amazing and on a clear day you can see all bridges.

Great staff but steak was overcooked and tough. But my partners meal (steak and ale pie) was very nice.

Quite a find on the way to Bristol Airport, an excellent full all day brunch but what a superb quiet location between the bustle of Bristol and the airport.

Lovely pub in fabulous setting opposite the church and stunning views in the distance over Bristol. Nice friendly welcome despite it being very quiet. Nice menu & choice of dishes. All arrived very quickly, we're large and delicious. We will be back for sure!

You could hear the person in the next room TV and snoring 😴

We went to enjoy their 50% off main meals in January deal. Service was excellent, menu options were great and the food was delicious! I highly recommend! The bar man was particularly attentive and was on the ball!

A beautiful inn Which normally serves great food, but be wary when ordering a take out from there...as unfortunately on this occasion not great, ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas...for starters red kidney beans ARE NOT PEAS, the rice wasn't drained properly and the jerk chicken is not normally fiery hot swimming in loads of sauce.. couldn't even taste the chicken. So think I'll be giving that a miss in the future.

I go to the Dundry Inn every month or so for different events whether it’s pub quizzes or special events and each time I’m NEVER disappointed. I went to the fireworks event last night where I had a delicious Chilli con Carne and free firework show (literally top tier entertainment). This is a local pub with that lovely local feel - too many pubs have gone gastro and corporate which isn’t to say the food isn’t delicious - it is! Food highlights for me are the Ribs, Pie and Lasagne. I’m yet to try their Caribbean food but I’m 100% sure this will be incredible. Support your local business!

First time visiting this pub and it was excellent. The service was great and very accommodating for allergies. The food was well cooked and at a very reasonable price. The pub was empty on arrival at 7pm but I was glad it got busy on our departure. I was glad no service charge was added to the bill which seems to be almost expected nowadays. I was happy to leave a tip. I will return here again.

Firstly cannot post a comment on the rooms as we did not stay. Food and service was very good.

All good.........the only glitch was the shower was only luke warm at best. Stairs leading to the bedroom was very steep.

Stayed for a night before an early flight, and paid the £8pn parking and £15 transfers. A convenient, comfortable and friendly pub. Staff were great and all details for pick up etc were sorted within 10 minutes of arriving, with some great home cooked food to boot. Nice local pub atmosphere and not noisy at all from the rooms. Will definitely use again, and would recommend.

Starters of jerk wings were awesome. Prawn cocktail was less than average. Main meal came out cold. Steak was cooked on a dirty grill that tainted the beef. Scampi and chips were fine but the peas weren’t cooked. Vinegar had bits floating in it like it was years old. Tables were sticky and overall the place just felt dirty. Such a shame really do need to try harder !! Won’t be back for food that’s for sure.

Very quiet as the summer weather wasn't very summer-like. Staff were lovely, finding a toy for the sleepy 2 year old. Service was excellent and the portion sizes very generous. However, looking at the bill later, the 'discretionary 10% service charge' stated on the menu doesn't fit with the £8.90 we were charged - at least £2.20 above 10٪. Disappointing.

We decided to have a late lunch after arriving back from holiday. What a lunch!! The steak and ale pie was the best I've had and the mash actually tasted like mash. My Husbands cod and chips was also first class. We are not local but next time at Bristol airport this will be our place of choice!

Ordered jerk chicken rice n peas with steam veg and kids sausage meal for delivery tasty food abit pricey for what others charge as I think the jerk chicken should come as a meal with either steam veg or coleslaw instead of having to pay seperate but all in all flavorful food good size just think its over priced

Driving by looking for a place for dinner. Saw Caribbean food offered and ordered jerk chicken with rice n peas dumpling and slaw. Incredible. All super tasty, we lived in South London and this was better than most of the local jerk places. A suggestion to add fried plantains and/or Guinness punch but was 5 star food. Will return.

Shower was terrible Trickled from hot to too warm. Quilt was too thick for summer. Should have a thinner option for hotter weather. Food was fantastic.

Went with a disabled person in a wheelchair as we noticed disabled parking but on asking no disabled toilet and steps to garden staff member not helpful with situation so got back into the car and went elsewhere a shame as 8 of us were going to eat and drink...

Was pleasantly surprised to find they had vegan pizza, which was really good! Lovely location and really nice beer garden.

What’s happened, the takeaways used to be such good value for money. We paid £15 plus a £3 delivery charge for a delivery just around the corner. Literally a spoonful of peas, carrots, red carrots, one small parsnip and 4 small roast potatoes and three thin slices of beef on the top. Very disappointed. Used to visit all of the time, although will eat elsewhere in future.

We went for a meal so can't comment on the rooms .. My wife had the BBQ ribs and I had the jerk chicken, both meals were superb, the service was very friendly and the prices went to bad. Great location and quiet (our booking was 7-30pm on a Friday) Would highly recommend & we will be back to try some other food.

Terrible service, won't be go or ordering again

Do not order from here. We ordered a gammon roast dinner and a chicken curry. No gammon was on the roast dinner and when we called to ask about it, we were told they would call us back. 30 minutes passed and there was no phone call. When I called, I was basically told I was lying and there was meat on the roast There was not. When I asked why there had not been a phone call back, the woman tried to tell me she left me a voicemail. There was no voicemail. Terrible service!

We had 22 guests celebrating a 70th Birthday. Lots ordered steak or mix grill. every meal came out perfectly cooked. The Steak was exactly how everyone asked for it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great Portion sizes and a very welcoming atmosphere. We will come back again soon.

Great food and a great hotel service

We had a wonderful afternoon being brilliantly looked after by the staff who provided our reunion with excellent cake and many cups of tea and coffee. We had an area to ourselves for a few hours - it was relaxed and really enjoyable. So pleased to see many people there - great for a Monday afternoon/evening when many pubs are closed.

Booked a room for the night prior to flying. Staff helpful, friendly and arranged for transfers so we didn't have to worry. Food was exceptional and all home cooked. When we returned to collect our car we decided to eat agsin before the 2 hour drive home! We can't wait to stay again.

Ordered a roast dinner from JUST EAT after it arrived it was so cold had to put it in the oven to warm up carrots still very hard beef was fatty.. Burnt cauliflower wount worth what i paid plus delivery charge 😷 definitely wount rush again

Went for lunch, as an offer on in February buy 1 main get 1 half price. I have only ever had takeaway through Just Eat before. The food is great, hot, and tasty. Veg lasagne, garlic bread, salad leaves, and side of chips. Dessert Biscoff cheescake and mug of hot chocolate. £34 plus pennies for 2 people. Lovely garden with view of church opposite.

Visited a couple of times in January due to there half price mains offer, well what can I say, had there dundry burger and wow it was huge tasty and very filling and a bargain price. Well done to your team.

Nice pub, great staff and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately wouldn't go back, we had the Sunday roast and it was really awful! I'm sure other choices on the menu wouldn't of been so bad but definitely don't go just for the roast! 1 more point added because the Jam Roly Polly and Custard was lovely.

Excellent team, went above and beyond sorting me some food after the kitchen had closed. The room was very spacious and bathroom was fine. Only stayed one night as it was very close (8 min drive) to airport.

Very disappointed, the "small roast and" large" roast were I quote "the same size meals just named different" even though there is a £5 difference so basically don't waste your money ordering the large they do exactly the same for the small plate (on the adults menu can I add), food wasn't all that, fruit flies everywhere 🤢, manager argumentive when we questioned why the large meal £5 more was the same size as the small one, the staff were very judgy to begin with, whispering about whether we were buying alcohol for a girl who appeared under aged she wasn't and I appreciate they need to do there job how ever I don't appreciate being whispered about at all especially when we spent £100 or more in there on food and drinks. Instead of listening in the beginning we had a few staff members persistant with trying to "prove there point" when that was necessary we merely were just asking why the large was infact the same as the small. Over all they eventually did rectify the issue which we are genuinely thankful for but we won't be using again and won't be reccomending if I'm honest food was average anyway how ever the cake does look delicious .

We have had several orders from Dundry Inn and the last one we had was not the best. Unfortunately after leaving a 4 star review on just eat we had a somewhat confrontational response after giving our opinion on the portion size of one dish. Very disappointing as we have ordered from them several times, but the response will now stop us ordering from them ever again. I would suggest they rethink their attitude to customers who aren’t happy. Not the way to keep loyal customers and as a result we will never order from them again. They also own the carpenters tavern and the robins which we will also now never order from.

After a 4* review of our 5th order. One dish was a half portion. We knew this as was our 5th order. Our review received a disappointing unapologetic response. To the point of being accusatory. Needless to say, their customer service person should be sack. We would have continued to order from them, not now!

Popped in with my mum as haven't been in here for a few good years.. we ended up having a bite to eat ...half rack of ribs with chips and home made coleslaw...The food was nice and hot and loads of meat and sauce ..definitely the best ribs I've had .. The landlady ( I think she was ) was very friendly,polite and was so pleasant to chat with...

Well, clearly new owners/management, and the food has taken a MASSIVE dive. My cheese ploughman's had just 2 smallish slices of cheese, a pickled onion chopped in 2, just 2 small slices of French slick and various other small bits, £13! The others had tiny portions of scampi and chips. Coffee was weak and tasteless. The service was good whilst the waitress/owner remembered, but was otherwise indifferent. I won't go back, and yet this is a pub I've been to regularly for lunch over the past year or so.

The service was outstanding. So friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone really enjoyed their choices. Even down to the final cup of coffee which was also quality, everything was just perfect! Highly recommend a visit! We're going back next week with my mum!

Sunday roast, save your money and pop ready meal in microwave. AWFUL ! Packet turkey meat, potatoes tastes like dunked in deep fat fryer, cheap ingredients but not prices Never again!

If you want under cook food come to this restaurant, sausages, pork chop on both mix grill pink. So pink I thought I heard it oik at me. Took sausage back and re cooked then we both spotted the chop walking on my plate . Not impressed won’t be coming back, no discount offered didn’t seem to care

Had a roast beef Sunday lunch. Lovely meal, plenty of veg and meat. Would have liked a few extra roasters but that’s my preference. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Deffo recommend a visit

Not the cleanest pub and not very bright inside either.Their prices are a bit steep and food is so-so. The pub is tucked away in a small hamlet with only 1 other pub not too far away so maybe that’s why they get away with being mediocre. Can’t say I’ll be rushing back I’m afraid.

Went for Sunday roast and it was disgusting. The lamb was thin, grey, fatty and tasted odd. We all left the lamb. My mum had beef and that was thin and tought. She ate some of the meat and she was really sick the next day. The Yorkshire was cheap frozen yorkshires. None of it was good. I will never eat here again.

Last minute booking for Sunday lunch Food was good, service excellent. All staff really friendly.
