Loves cafe is the best coffee shop in Weston-super-Mare. The staff are always happy and polite and nothing is too much trouble. The place is always busy and that speaks volumes in the current climate

Called in on a whim but got a lovely table in the window. Dog friendly and vegan with amazing authentic middle eastern food. What's not to love. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was amazingly tasty and sensibly priced. Great range of vegan food which doesn't seem like it, it just happens to be plant based. A Fab Find!

What a lovely vegan restaurant. A warm welcome and delicious tapas....no room for the fab looking cakes though! Will be back!

Loves is an independent restaurant (and music venue). They serve local produce, which is lovingly made under a well thought-out menu. The portions are generous. The Sunday roast is like mums Christmas dinner! With gorgeous sides of spiced red cabbage and cauliflower cheese. And the desserts are all plant based, most GF. Highly recommend!

The food here is just sublime, always a huge variety of flavours on every plate. It's also incredibly reasonably priced and a lunch here will fill you up for the day. The atmosphere is comfy and relaxed and they also do brilliant music nights. Westons finest!

Lovely family lunch, friendly staff, chilled atmosphere, delicious food and reasonably priced. We went for three of the tapas dishes and hummus which was perfect for a small lunch for three of us- just what we were after. Lovely selection of tasty dishes. Most tables are upstairs but there are some downstairs so easy buggy access. Highchairs available but no baby change (WC only downstairs).

Small plates like a trip to the Middle East! Lovely dishes at really great prices. 3 sharing plates was £15 plus bangin hummus for only £2.50 Laid back atmos and the brilliant space has a wonderful hotch potch of furniture and other objet d’arts. Strongly recommend but don’t really everyone

DODGY PLACE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS Charging inconsistent prices at the bar for drinks. They would play the whole game of just thrusting out the card reader for contactless payments and not showing or telling you how much the drinks were in order to rip you off. This happened on the night bob log played. Dodgy place

Best vegan english breakfast i’ve ever had! Highly recommend.

Nice cafe set on two levels with plenty of indoor seating. I didn’t have a booking but there was no problem accommodating me. Regularly changing menu, only feedback I would have is it’s a little limited on choice and every option involved a bread product this week which may not suit everyone. I went with the pesto mushrooms on sourdough, my goodness this was so mouthwateringly delicious! Decent sized portion, felt it was good value. Cold, hot and alcoholic drinks on offer. Accepts cards. Step free entrance to ground floor area and toilets also on this level. Dog friendly cafe. Staff friendly and welcoming. Loved the maps decorating the walls. Only open in the evening for special events.

We were after a breakfast and as we'd not been to Loves for too long we headed there with the Saturday papers. Oh boy, did we make the right choice ! Gluten free bubble and squeak with Loves special beans for me and creamy mushrooms with wild garlic sauce and proper good bread for my partner. Lovely cuppa too. The most fabulous bubble,tasted as if I'd made it myself and I make a fine bubble ! Treated ourselves to a choice from the sweet tray too. A truly superb GF peanut butter brownie for me and a pistachio cookie for my partner rounded off our visit to Loves fabulously.

Highly recommend. Enjoyed a fantastic evening music gig, the Spring small plates menu was scrumptious (and my hubby is an avid meat eater), wonderful local beers, friendly staff, topped off with fab music thank you Loves for a wonderful evening.

Can say I was highly disappointed,the air of arrogance and sarcasm was staggering. Failed on basic hygiene dirty cups and glasses. After a forty minute wait for a burrito which is a quick meal by any standard got fed up and walked.The cook seemed stressed with just 8 covers perhaps a trip back to the real world might help. As for the other customers they encompass everything I hate about other vegans frankly grubby perhaps you should join us in the 21st century!.interesting response I don’t smoke so think you’re just clutching at straws.The staff also didn’t clear a table you were practically empty

Great place loves the breakfast

I honestly don't have a complaint in the world about this cafe, I've been several times now and it ticks every box. My non-vegan mother usually avoids non-dairy milk in favour of black coffee if there is no cow's milk option, but she says that the cappuccino here is the best she's ever had (vegan or otherwise!). The food is well portioned, very fairly priced and high quality. The venue itself often hosts events, which is evident in the ambiance. It's somewhat low-light and cozy, but could easily become a punk venue if it needed to be. There's not much like it in Weston, so it's a wonderful escape for those who don't generally fit into the area (though of course anyone would enjoy it). I'm glad to have a cafe like this in my area and can't wait for the next time!

Lovely cafe! The pesto mushroom spinach toast was a great lunch and we really liked the date cookies as well. Great spacious place with friendly staff and a welcoming, progressive vibe. We’ll be back for sure when we’re next in Weston!

We came for an intimate gig with two of the members of the band The Levellers. Love's cafe is a beautiful little venue and has such a warm atmosphere, a bustling yet homely feel to it and the food looks and smells amazing although we didn't get to try it on this occasion. I had tried to book tickets for the event and we had run into some difficulties along the way but Anna the owner was so accommodating and kind on the night that it put it all into perspective and we just ended up having a lovely evening. I can't wait to return to try the food and see more amazing music here. Highly recommended. Thanks Anna and Loves 💜🙏 xxx

Came into Weston-super-Mare, on this Autumn misty rainy day looking for some relief from a few very stressful weeks. Didn't book and turned up to a very warm welcome. We were seated promptly and ordered with relaxed time to make choices. We both had the roast dinner. Butternut squash wellington with roasted potatoes, braised and beautifully spiced red cabbage, Stuffing, Buttery Carrots, Broccoli Cheese and the richest and delicious red wine gravy I can remember having. I cannot state enough that the food here has never failed to deliver on exceptional taste nor ample portions. The way the chef creates the flavours with the ingredients is always astounding. I could not eat pud. We sat both so relaxed and sated after eating that we could have curled up and continued talking to eachother in the relaxed ambience and soul warming environment. I have truly never had a negative word about Loves. In my opinion, the best restaurant in the southwest of the UK! Also a nod to the service who could teach a lot of so say professional eateries a great deal about making a customer feel comfortable welcome and happy to be there. Thank you Loves !

States that it is open online, super disappointing as we walked quite a way to it and the sister cafe.

Came to see Kathryn Williams sing but we'll be back just for the food. Neither my wife or I are vegetarian yet we both had two of the best dishes we've ever eaten in a restaurant. And although the venue doesn't have the perfect layout for music, the audience were so respectful you could hear a pin drop. I'll take that any day of the week. Great venue, great food and great people. Brilliant

Great food, good vibes and an independent to top it all off. This place oozes a relaxed feel but has quality food and drink and the music is amazing. My boys loved all the food and the freshly made juice, even though it had “bits” in lol.

Run, don’t walk, to Love’s Cafe! I love this place and want to go there every time I’m in Weston. Honestly some of the best food I’ve found in England. It is always fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious. I’ve had the roast, the full breakfast, the shakshuka, and the katsu curry- all incredible. Lovely atmosphere and Anna is so friendly and lovely. 🥰

We had a cozy Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago and the food was delicious. I had the onion bhaji bap, which was absolutely delicious - would highly recommend this. My husband had the katsu curry, which he also recommends, and others in our party had a full breakfast and a shatshuka - all were very pleased with their meal. My only comment was that it was hard to know what drinks were available - drinks in display were apparently not in stock and I didn't see drinks in a menu. Might be worth updating the display?

Loves Cafe is really good place where you can experience different cuisine in one place.Anna who run loves cafe is really kind and she put in the effort and love into her cooking 🍳 ❤️. They do musical gigs, poetry gigs etc from artists locally as well as internationally.If you love to have really good experience it is the best place to go.

Awful service, ended up leaving the restaurant after waiting more than an hour to get a couple of tacos. We usually go to vegan, independent and sustainable restaurants and we definitely are not fast-food eaters. You are small and friendly, but to us you were also not very professional.

A very pleasant lunch stop off. Dogs are welcome and plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. Full vegan menu and a good oat milk latte. The menu was very small, and didn't match what was online which was a shame. But what we did have was very tasty.

Enjoyed our Sunday lunch here - most of our table had the vegan roast and I had a jerk tofu rice bowl which went down well. Coffee and puddings were good too. Not being local to WSM and not knowing what to expect, an online booking system would have been helpful. Although we managed to nab a big table easily being the first punters in. Looking forward to trying their nearby Sprout cafe in the park when the weather warms up a bit!

Great little café, they do excellent vegan food. It gets busy, so I would suggest going early. Only little criticism would be that the hours can be very uncertain, at times they don't stick to their opening hours. Almost forgot to add, hats off to the cafe for the feminine hygiene products in the bathroom!

I think I’ve fallen in love this this cafe. A real shame that I am just passing through. The owner seems like the most wholesome, kind and generous person, reminds me of my mum a little tbh. The whole places feels very welcoming and homely. I couldn’t help but eves drop a little (don’t judge me) and I was a genuinely a little inspired by how surprisingly focused on enterprises to help the local community, the owner is. Maybe I’m just too used to London businesses, but I assume that all business owners primary intent is making money, and that honestly doesn’t seem the case here. The food was delicious, the prices very cheap. A little bit of heaven.

Such a welcoming space! The staff are lovely, the food was absolutely delicious, the space is super comfy and homely. I can’t recommend this place enough. An independent local cafe, no pretentious-ness, just top tier everything. Also dead cheap.

First time back in ages. Never lets me down. Warm, friendly, and utterly inclusive welcome. Sure they were busy and running around for all their worth, but they did so cheerily and engagingly. Managed to squeeze in people with the aim that no one felt disappointed. One couple had a moan that they'd waited about 3 minutes too long, and inevitably nothing Joe tried to say or offer was good enough. That was sadly going to be the case the moment they announced their views so publicly. I think it says far more about their social skills than Loves' commitment to customer care! A GREAT local restaurant and venue, so much character, a local gem.

I'm more pub than cafe, but having sampled their food I feel sure I will go again. Went for a fundraising night so it was very busy, but it's a really nice venue and somewhere else I will look to go again.

Fantastic, friendly service, superb food, relaxing atmosphere, and reasonable pricing. Highly recommended, one of the best venues in Weston. Grove park village seems to be the heartbeat of the town?

Really lovely friendly atmosphere and good choice of music! Food was delicious - had the Baked Beans, with Roast Aubergines, Lemony Greens and Harissa. Staff are super friendly. Enjoyed our visit and will go again next time we are in Weston Super Mare, hopefully to catch live music session.

I especially recommend their event dinners, the last of which I had during a moving film screening as part of the 'green futures' event. This was a low-carbon supper made almost exclusively from very local produce. Each one of the three courses was absolutely delicious - from pearl barley risotto to roast squash to leak fritter to apple tart. All amazing. Thanks so much Anna and team - we will be back over and over again :) Oh and it's very dog-friendly - always a plus in my book!

I'm not vegan but my wife is and I always try and find somewhere she can eat when the need arises, so while in town, we were both feeling rather peckish and decided to check out the cafe having only recently been made aware of it. We were greeted by friendly staff upon entry and made to feel at home straight away. After viewing the lunch menu of about 6 items we both selected the vegan shakshuka. As everything is cooked from scratch so there was a slight wait for our food to arrive but it was well worth it as it was delicious. We also ordered some cake to take out which we enjoyed when got home. Our first visit and certainly not our last.

We never got to eat. We had booked a table (it was a special occasion) and when we arrived they were closed. We had heard that the cafe is a bit “ad hoc” with its opening hours and now we had first hand experience of this. The manager came out and was unbelievably rude to us so we didn’t stay. Such a shame given how positive and green their philosophy is. We will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Well today was unfortunately not a great reflection on Love’s cafe.. booked a table and travelled a distance based on the food reputation.… cafe was ‘closed’. Was spoken to appallingly by the manager.. who apparently has a non conflict approach. Will never go back and will actively not recommend.

We came for a quick lunch when on our way to play at a festival. Our expectations were exceeded. It was great to get healthy vegan food made from scratch. Anna the owner made us very welcome. She also put us on the door for Jon Sevink and Dan Donelly who are such wonderful musicians. So not only did we have an amazing meal. We got to hear some amazing music from musicians that inspire us. We caught the end of the gig and they were fantastic, stellar musician's. Our fiddle player eS so excited to know that we heard Jon on the violin and the whole band love them both. We listened to their CD's and the lyrics chime with us and the musicianship is awe inspiring. We will definitely be coming back and we also look forward to Vegan icecream in Sprouts in Grove Park. Stopped for a tea and cake, very nice food. Very friendly staff, who were very knowledgeable of their menu. Saw a few other meals come out for other customers and they all looked very good. The amenities could be checked a bit more often, as most of the bulbs were out, but would most likely come back for a proper meal.

Amazing food!!! Whether you're Vegan or Vegetarian or neither you will love it! It's all so flavoursome! The cakes and brownies are a must try and you can take them home to eat too!

Wonderful vegan food! We had the cauliflower & aubergine flatbread (with spicy Korean marinade & sauce). And had an amazing oyster mushroom burger - actually really light and fresh. Wow! So good! Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and got a roast. It was incredible! Decent portion, plenty of veg, tasted amazing. The staff were very friendly too. We had a coffee and a cake after and even that was top tier 👌 100% going back when next in Weston!!

Loves has some of the best Vegan food in Weston, with really friendly staff. They are very accommodating in regards to access needs. The building itself is full of character, spread over two floors, with a high ceiling, it's got a very cosy atmosphere. They're also dog friendly!

Only visited for a coffee after the Christmas break, but really loved it. The staff were nice, the coffee good, the surroundings lovely (including some wonderfully entertaining art work!). It would be so great to have somewhere like this local to us in Bristol! Will return for food. :)

Best place to eat in town imho. Simple fresh ingredients prepared with thought & care. It really doesn’t matter that the milk is made from plants ‘cos so’s the coffee and it’s fab!

Overpriced and the beer tastes weird

Delicious gourmet vegan food at the tapas and flamenco night, pleased my omni companions too. Lovely environment, cosy, comfortable with good social distancing. Very nice seating for couples upstairs overlooking the entertainment. Service was very professional, attentive and friendly. Nice range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The sangria went down very nicely! Very good value for the flamenco show (musicians and dancer) plus high quality cuisine.

Fabulous dog friendly cafe serving delicious home cooked vegan food. The coffee is very good and the cakes are amazing -- even my not vegan daughter was impressed! Best cafe in Weston.
