A 15 mins drive from junction 21 on M5, a recommendation out of The Extra Mile book, this is a road side stall selling local produce which also sells takeaway drinks and cakes with seating on picnic tables in the car park ie it does not have a proper cafe. Coffee was v tasty (in disposable cups) and we ate a lovely carrot cake muffin but it was not a relaxing place to sit near the main road and I don’t like my drinks out of a paper cup. The fresh produce they sold did look good but it wasn’t what we wanted so we will not revisit. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186220-d10104176-r903030537-Brockley_Stores-Bristol_England.html#

Hot chocolate stop and shop at our local stores - never again. Just returned from a 4 mile walk with a friend, promising her halfway that we would stop for a much needed hot drink break, particularly as we were both soaking wet from a very wet dog walk. Then to be told at 4.35pm that the coffee machine was being cleaned down as they were closing at 5pm and no hot drinks available. So disappointing. They could see how wet we were and I can’t imagine why making two hot chocolates would interfere too much with a drink close down 25 minutes later. Such a shame . Shop produce is over priced and customer care is not at the top of the agenda it seems. Won’t be using the stores again.

I hadn't been in to Brockley Stores since the start of the pandemic but popped in recently on my way back from Bristol. As I local I like to support local businesses and it has been lovely to see this venture succeed in recent years. Everything looked great and well-organised, but .......what has happened to the prices!!! It aways was a bit 'top end' of price range but that was OK and to be expected. But now, I feel it's gone way beyond that into pure fantasy, and dare I say outrageous greed?!! 3.99 for a single sausage roll is just madness! Yes they looked artisan and they tasted OK but 16 quid for 4 sausage rolls is just eye-melting really. Same applied to the mini quiches. I thought the previous price of 2.50 was expensive but worth it for a treat. Who is buying this stuff? In my opinion you are pricing yourself way out of the average local's budget. I wish you luck seeking out the clientele you clearly prefer to attract but its a 'no' from me :-(.

Went in to get a feel for the place to see if I wanted to buy from there regularly, and I was pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful produce, i got to the check out and the woman serving me didn’t even look at me or say hello , Just wanted to take my money, extremely rude lady at the checkout. Won’t be going there again for that reason alone, she then proceeded to call two elderly people “bud” which is disrespectful. My friend went in after me and agreed the produce is amazing the service was ABYSMAL. I expected atleast the basic level of service in a nice looking place like this.

I ordered a variety of items to be delivered to my Dad for his birthday. Both my Dad and my Mum have been thrilled with the quality of the items, they particularly have enjoyed the ‘Bini’ Chicken curry and the Lamb and spinach curry. The delivery arrived in the time slot I requested and my parents said it was a very nice young man that delivered. I live in Essex, so especially, during this time I can’t travel myself to see them in Bristol-Brockley stores were a godsend! I will definitely order again, because of the excellent quality of their goods and great options for special occasions. Ordering online was very easy-the only difficulty was making my mind up of what to choose-so many lovely products to choose from!

We only popped in to see if they had any globe artichokes and ended up buying a whole box of wonderful produce . The mixed box of exotic mushrooms was a real delight. We cooked them , back at home , in a very mild olive oil and butter , added some new season garlic which the shop had sourced from France . Added some red wine and Bruton Dairy double cream ...gorgeous with the steak... all washed down with some sparkling cider (Liberty 2019) from Barleywood Orchard ! Will call in again soon to re-stock...thanks so much !!

Very disappointed with first veg box collected today. Basic vegetables were expected but why more very old potatoes pushed into bottom of box when a big bag of potatoes had already been put in!! A few different vegetables, but no real thought put into choice. Expensive for what I ordered.

As stated in other reviews there is so much on offer in such a small amount of space. The local produce is all sourced nearby and you can definitely tell from the taste. The small bakery is great too, the chorizo sausage roll is out of this world. The staff are very friendly and look like they really enjoy being there! Couldn't be more helpful. Any time i am passing i will need to make a stop here.

Absolutely love this place. From garlic stuffed olives to local fruit and veg by way of properly raised meat, this foodery has something for everyone. The recent addition of a good cup of coffee and somewhere to drink it with a bit of cake adds greater delight. Refills of ecover products are a valued extra.

I am starting to buy as much as I can locally and organically. This store is a little gem where you can get wonderful just harvested vegetables or a homemade pasty. Try and pop in whenever I can to have a browse and buy some great fresh food.

Stocking a wide range of local produce & some items from further away the staff are friendly & very helpful. The wide range of baked on premises pasties and quiches has to be seen to be believed.

What a change from previous management. This is a great farm shop which caters for every aspect of your dinning table. It now serves a great coffee from a proper espresso machine. Well done guys.

Went here for dinner with friends for the first time. What a find!! The food is full of flavour, and beautifully cooked. Bring your appetite, you won’t be disappointed!! The service is fantastic and really friendly, and they clearly take great pride in the quality of their food. We just felt very “at home” and had a great evening, and will be returning! Not much more I can say really, except, try it, you’ll like it!!

See a lot of stuff on social media about hidden gems and the like....always thought it a little disingenuous. However 😁. Clevedon is a little out of the way....but one should really make the effort if only to see the pier and visit the amazing Murray's. Been doing wood burning stove Italian food long before food influencers were ever a thing. Go for the pizza but stay for the Italian main courses and pasta. Make sure to also grab some of the delicious stuff you just had to eat from the deli next door. the staff are friendly and helpful and it also boasts a great wine list. Enjoy!

The cafe was open late for the carnival night. My band 'Guillotine Dream' were due to play a gig at The Electric Banana and after soundcheck and a couple of pints in The Duke of Oxford we stumbled upon this cafe. Although two of our members live in Weston and I lived there for 20 years it was our first time in this cafe. Our local friend who was with us had also never been in there. We were greeted very warmly by the staff (fellow midlanders btw!) and were served very reasonably priced and very tasty food. We didn't have to wait long. My friends had beef stew and I had all day veggie breakfast which came with a coffee and toast and was delicious and filling. They said the stew was lovely too. I would recommend this cafe wholeheartedly! Thanks to the staff! Ian.
