Let down by a stale pita bread, that was actually snapped in half, more of a sandwich than a kabab. Wasn't overly impressed with salad portion either.

Went to Esmerelda Portished tonight 16th March had a Doner kebab it was totally cold. Very dissatisfied. We have been loads of times before and it has always been hot and delicious!! What happened tonight guys????

Late night we were very hungry. Found this gem of a place. Ordered large kebab and chips. Kebab was fresh and very tasty and the chips went down a treat. Highly recommend if you like fresh ingredients. Cash only peeps.

Foods always fresh, tasty and hot what more do you want. I've never had a problem here and have been a good few times.

I work as a truck driver, and whenever I get to park up for the night at Portishead I always look forward to a kebab from Esmerelda. The food is always freshly cooked and hot and so tasty. The salad is always fresh and crisp. I travel all over the country with my job, but this is the only kebab shop I look forward to visiting. Excellent.

Honestly, the best kebab van in the country!

Hygiene is very high indeed. We had chicken kebab and Doner. Tasty, Juicy and a nice portion size.

First try here, for my son's birthday treat of his choice. Kebabs were lovely. Quick, very fresh, hot, and very tasty, with loads of everything. Excellent value too. The salad was lovely and for a healthy option, in a pitta with or without halloumi/chicken. It would be really tasty. X

What a little gem of a place! The food was fresh and great quality. Super friendly guys there too. I hadn’t tried it before and honestly, it’s a great alternative since the Chinese and Indian restaurants around here are pretty bland. I will definitely go back! You guys should open a restaurant!

Not busy, good food, cheap, large portion and the owner is very friendly. I always tell my friends to go down one evening because its a but of a change from going down the road from McDonalds. Also to show how cheap it is: McDonald’s medium chicken nuggets and chips-£5:19 Esmerelda wings and chips-£4:50. You also get so much more chips.

Delicious kebab! Excellent choice for a afternoon meal. Portions are big! Me and my wife shared a medium doner kebab and it was great for us! Sure we will be back!

The best food you can get if I could give 10 stars I would. The best customer service on the planet and always a reassuring site to see on a night out. Would love to be adopted by the kebab man.

Wednesday night I ordered meat and chips with a group of friends. When I took the first bite I thought it tasted a bit weird but I just assumed it was because I’ve never tried the kebab from here before. Turns out, within a couple hours I was throwing it all back up. I was sick twice overnight and the following day was awful, I struggled to stand and completely lost my appetite. Food poisoning at its best, do not purchase anything here unless you’re planning to have a tomato sandwich.
