The best restaurants in Exeter South West

Ordered food at 5pm. Its now 2321. No food delivered. Just Eat offered to refund but this place would not agree to cancel the order. So angry. Absolute toss pots.

Good for quick freshmen. Craft beer excellent flavour and server was very informative. Will be back soon

Today i was going to the cumpas but it wasnt time so i went to waitrose went inside to order , the workers were kind plus i got great service(the food came fast) i had the Eton mess it was Excellent

A real surprise with great service and excellent coffee, a shame that the management don’t do more with the seating area - badly laid out with insufficient seating

Not the best service at this place. Ok one night. Next night… didn’t get served within 30 minutes… waiter bounced between other groups, even said he would come over, forgot about the single diner… (just left eldest son at first night at Uni…so I’m not some single loner here)…. Oh well, fly home tomorrow…

Made two Sunday table bookings for two different groups of 6 and 8 people. Arrived for the first booking to find a sign in the window, 'closed due to staff sickness'. Received a text from the restaurant ten minutes later. Two weeks later we arrived for the second booking to find the restaurant was closed. No follow up communication received. We want to support local and new businesses but after this appalling experience we will not book again. Thank goodness for the lovely pub up the road.

Interesting building with several areas differing in style.

The staff at times are busy and tables are left to clear. Why don't Costa invest in units so late customers can help by clearing their tables by putting their trays on these units as is done in many restaurants.

did not deliver correct order. i ordered 1x chicken royale burger and 2x beef whopper burger. what i got delivered was 1x chicken royale 1x sausage and egg butty and 1x 20 chicken nuggets box. pretty disappointed with this. delivery time was fast driver was nice.

Wanted to be near Exeter Quay and decided to go to Harvester as large car park for late lunch. Three or four people at tables in bar area and it looked like perhaps 1 or 2 tables occupied in dining area. We waited where it says wait to be served, no one. Went to bar. Could hear and see staff working as they were hovering around the door behind the bar and there was an obvious moment of panic when we nearly caught someone’s eye and they quickly jumped back into the back room so they definitely knew we were there but still absolutely no one came to help us. Felt almost like they were hiding until we gave up. After about ten minutes we realised there was absolutely no chance of any service, walked out and found somewhere else to spend our money. Thoroughly unimpressed.

We eat here often and have to say that the staff are always excellent. The prices are so reasonable and the food always hot and tasty. Hard to find anywhere with as good value for money.

Food quality was good and bar staff were very polite and helpful (villie) served with a smile will return.we will recommend to friends

Very pretentious and over priced doesn’t warrant the price tag . Lovely decor but does that warrant the overpricing 🤔 what do you think

Terrible food, terrible customer services where a staff member verbally insulted a group of older people for not choosing to drink. cold food, cold staff. the staff’s responses to these reviews should be enough to tell you about the people there

Really nice vibe and sushi, fairly hard to get staffs attention but very nice when helping us. Great Experience, Definitely Recommend!
