It was due at 720 and the restaurant said was delivered at that time, but it was delivered at 820

Food was very nice. Delivery was bad. Delivery driver rang me and started shouting that he couldn’t find my house even though he was parked right outside. Had to go collect it from him which in the rain. Not pleased.

We have been enjoying New Jumbo for years! Love it and really recommend. Definitely the best takeaway in Exeter

The delivery was late I asked for a part refund. They replied saying they had given me a free item. which they haven't I am not happy as my grandson was waiting for his tea .

Food was cold, and not as described on menu. One dish was meant to be chicken and prawn & vegetables. What was delivered was 5 prawns and lots of onion. Very disappointed for the steep price.

Excellent as always - but very late arriving!

Order was over an hour late. Requested a partial refund via the Just Eat app and received a message saying the restaurant would not refund me but would include something free from the menu as an apology. There was nothing... although no doubt they'll claim it was the free prawn crackers that we get with every order! Don't take orders if you don't have the capacity to fulfil them in a reasonable time.

missing items, late delivery and even once it arrived the items that were there were incorrect. instructions noted on order not followed. not ordering from here again.

Chow mein super dry and no flavour at all. Cheese chips also no salt. Long wait on the food, order placed at 18:40 was given 1h to be delivered, only received after 2 hrs at 20:55 and had to chase. Rest of the food didn’t taste fresh either!

3 hours after I first placed my order and food still has not arrived. Been trying to chase it up/cancel for the last just under 2 hours with no luck. Rang the restaurant and the customer service was shocking- no apology for the wait

Disappointed 😞 waited over 2hrs from ordering food to delivery. Missed first delivery time missed second delivery time. £50+ order no money off, told we had a free item😂only free item we had was prawn crackers and they’re free anyway😂 chips were cold. Non existent customer service, won’t be using again!!! Would NOT Recommend.

every time we order from new jumbo it does not arrive in the 20 minute window provided, over 90 minutes from point of order to getting our food and 1 dish was wrong - not impressed

The Crab and Sweetcorn Soup, doesn't contain any Crab Meat. It's made with Ocean or Crab flavoured sticks, which famously contain zero traces of Crab Meat. This is false advertising, amend the menu accordingly, please.

Ok, chips awesome. My mixed meat rice was very dry not no where enough sauce on it, if knew I’d ordered extra. Hubby enjoyed his beef, peppers in black bean sauce

Sauce was weak, Not enough chicken, too many mushrooms. Craipy beef was nice, but bland. Same with the Singapore rice. Probably £20 worth of food. But not £40. Chicken balls were good.

We usually enjoy food from new Jumbo. Tonight wasn't very nice. It tasted like the fish had been recooked a few times, the batter was very hard and dry. The chips and rice was nearly cold. expensive for not nice food.

Delivery bang on time and friendly driver. Chicken was dry & overcooked. Cod fillet was super thin, it was all undercooked batter!! Very unimpressed for the price!!

Over half an hour late. Rice was cold and clumpy, supposed to be egg fried big no egg. Satay chicken was overcooked and chewy. Meal pretty much went in the bin. First and last order.

Absolutely disgusting service from the restaurant, was supposed to have arrived between 18.10 and 18.30 called the restaurant and 18.40 said it would be another 10 mins then they said they have cancelled our order because we complained about the time, will never use this restaurant again and will leave feedback on Google. Awful food,chewy meat in chow mein and literally no taste to salt and chilli chicken, was line chewing grissel.. curry sauce had no flavour or kick and was powdery... Never again £50 wasted... Went in bin 😔

Good food however I ordered the special fried rice with bbq sauce but got oyster sauce instead.

Nice food lovely lady driver, but king prawn balls do not need thick stodgy batter! They take a minute to cook just need a light batter thankyou

Unusually the chips were very dry and lukewarm, first time thats ever happened

Food was over 2 hours late. The app had changed to delivered but had not received. Called the restaurant and they said it was just being sent out. Will be 15 minutes. Another half hour. The food was hot so had just been cooked within the half hour and defiantly not just going out the door. Food was also dry. Had this happen a few times now. Shame as it was a favourite of ours last year.

Ordered food at around 7.45 for delivery by 8.40pm. Food arrived at approx 9,45pm. Two calls to the restaurant over that time with no success on eta. Just told it was late. Food was not hot either and two of the party had to go home before it arrived! Never using again . £80+ order wasted. Disgusting and a refund is in order

Lovely as normal! Love black bean dishes! And keep meaning to say that ur s/s sauce is spot on! None of that gloopy red awful stuff u get elsewhere! And if I’m not mistaken I can taste pineapple in it! Thankyou

Not the best food tonight ive had much better ....rice was like stodge , batter on chicken balls was under cooked and stodgy ...Shame because it used to be so nice , a bit hit and miss these days and its just gone up in price ....

Food arrived around 45 minutes late. Had to call the restaurant at 8.30pm to check in. Sounded like they hadn’t even got the order ready. Delivery driver didn’t apologise for the lateness of the order (just made a joke about the locks on my door). Food quality was also much poorer than usual. Rice very stodgy. Spring rolls not well cooked. Have enjoyed the food from here for a few years, but doubt I’ll be going back. Last couple of times the service has been poor and tonight was the nail in the coffin. In an ideal world, I’d ask for tonight’s bill to be paid back.

Have to say i havent had a better Take away in Exeter! That includes all cusuines. I have been disappointed with every Chinese takeaway i have had in Exeter. But here i could not fault!! They may be a little more expensive but in my opinion they can justify it with the quality of the food!! The mixed starters were delicuious. The prawn toast was packed full of minced prawns and not greasey at all. The Ribs were very meaty and came with a beautiful sauce that you can add if you wish. The satay chicken was crispy on the outside and succulent underneath. The crispy shredded beed was filled to the brim with plenty of freshly cooked veg crispy on the outside and very tender beef in the middle. The sauce conplimented the dish perfectly. The chefs special rice with oyster sauce was delicious and serced with king prawns, beef, pork and chicken all fresh and mouth watering. The sweet and sour chicken balls were crispy and fluffy with tender chicken within. You can tell that they have been prepped earlier that day and fried off to order. Not being fried, fried and fried again. I am a fussy t@$t with my food but cant fault this place at all. 10/10 and wint use another Chinese takeaway. My only worry is that there is not room for improvement so i just hope the standards are maintained from this order. Should be very proud of themselves with the quality they hace shown tonight!

Late delivery. Have previously ordered from here and been pleased but this time I assume it was extra busy. over an hour and half or delivery, said was delivered and to leave a review. phoned restaurant who said was on its way. just eat did not give real time updates. tofu and squid chewy and hard. would have liked more bbq sauce on rice. somewhat disappointed but would not stop me ordering again but different dishes

Wasn’t the best Chinese we have had from this restaurant, Chinese chicken curry was very bland and chicken fried rice had onions in which we found strange. We had ordered it at 6ish and requested it to come at 8 and it came about 8:20 but it was a Friday night so guess they were busy!

All food was cold apart from the rice, I paid £8 for a large fish, and it was the smallest fish I have ever seen! It was tiny, and stone cold, I don’t know what’s happened with this takeaway, it used to be fantastic! Won’t order from here again, total waste of £30

crispy beef was not crispy at all it was chewy yuk !

Ordered fish and chips at 18.30, delivery was due between 19.25-19.45, then told it had changed to 20.30, finally arrived at 21.15, and after all that the food wasn’t very nice!!

Ordered at 18.10 and recieved food at 20.45.Food was supposed to arrive between 19.10 - 19.30. Clicked on not recieved order at 19.45, got a text from restaurant saying food would arrive at 20.05. Clicked on request money back for late arrival, got a text saying I wouldn't be receiving any money because the restaurant was busier than expected. Firstly it's not a restaurant and secondly don't accept orders if you can't fulfill them.We are loyal customers and we've not recieved much of an apology
