food never arrived despite saying delivered. Nobody at the restaurant answers the phone so unable to check what's gone on. Despite looking like a good deal, don't order from here!

Food was lovely as it always is, unfortunately it arrived 2 hours after it was ordered, the quoted delivery time was 50 mins. Disappointing as they are usually really good.

No delivery.Due 5:55,called 6:08,told 10 mins.Called 6:25 when 1/2 hour late,told 20 mins without taking address.When pushed for specifically where it was,told traffic was busy.Satnav showed 10 mins (no traffic at all),& then would be almost an hour late.Said this,they hung up.Called back,no answer.Waited til 6:55 (hour late),tried calling again.They avoided all calls,so 1 &1/2 hours late,no contact possible,having to dig something out the freezer for screaming children.Abysmal customer service.

Food was fine but it was delivered 1 hour and 10 minutes later than expected. I placed the order at 5:30 and it didnt arrive until 7:45.

Didn't have everything on the menu which was disappointing, the environment wasn't ideal literally like a ghost town and very quiet bar the occasional over heard foreign language, service we ordered a few starters and was asked if we were ordering any mains unfortunately we didn't as it was uncomfortable, glass was dirty so actually took the can of coke home, lastly the food was questionable some looked fresh, some looked as tho it had been reheated and i believe the rice was probably done in a rice cooker with some burning to it....

Ordered, not received. Wrong says delivered. Terrible attitude each time you call. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered a medium chicken curry but it was nothing like a curry more like a bolognaise no spice to it just loads of tomatoes won’t be going here again straight in the bin

I ordered food at 18:55. Estimated delivery time was 19:20 . I didn’t receive food at that time. I contacted the restaurant , they said its on the way . They changed estimated arrival in to 19:50 . I wait till that time, food didn’t arrive. Called the restaurant, they asked me house address and they said house Address was mistakenly said and they hang up the call. I didn’t understand why they said that, I ordered through just eat app, My address was clear. Food came at 20:00. Cold food .

The service was good. Very friendly waiter and did his best to make my experience the best possible by ordering complimentary offerings. But the food was very bland. It seems microwaved from food that was not fresh, especially the chicken. I really hope they improve their quality of ingredients. The dishes were also not clean. Please give this place a go. It could have just been a bad day.

Ordered the set meal for 4, it Turned up late and cold, missing most of the items, phoned the restaurant and got told to fu#k off. Avoid this place like the plague if I were you, that is if you want the food that you actually ordered, refund needed

SCAMMERS- Avoid at all costs! I placed an order on their website and they never delivered my food. I tried to call them several times but no answer and the mailbox is full. Stole my money. Don't worry, I will not let them get away with it.

Fast delivery, food arrived hot and was delicious. Very creamy curries and the Poppadums were fresh and crispy. Very impressed

After a superb meal we had really enjoyed in the summer, we took the opportunity to place an order for collection on 19 Dec while in town after late night shopping. We were disappointed to receive 2 pilau rice which I guess was to substitute the missing onion bhajees we ordered. No mention of the substitution when we collected. This was in addition to 2 rice already on our order and total food waste. Bombay Fish Special was tasteless and the Chicken Ceylon was swimming in a watery liquid.

These less than fine fellows charged us for apparently free and unlimited rice, which they to begin with claimed would not be in the bill, although this could be attributed to Connor sign, who did stink a little maybe they need to buy more cleaning products

Ordered something which didn’t arrive and when I called they told me it wasn’t on the menu and told me to not make a big deal out of it and then they hung up the phone and blocked my number. This was very rude when I was just calling to enquire about a replacement or refund but was not given the option to explain this.

Awful food. Awful delivery. Awful awful awful just avoid. Asked for lamb madras got chicken, rice stone cold, asked for a tikka naan got a plain one, asked for Coke Zero got Diet Coke. Ordered two chicken royal starters got one. Theft food was horrible too. Id rather eat out of a bin then order here again. Avoid at all costs

It’s a shame I can’t upload a picture, but the piece of thin string we received in our saag paneer was not very welcome. Spoilt the expensive some what.

The rieta was a cottage cheese texture. Garlic chilli chicken tasted old and just threw a load of sliced garlic in and almost raw or not cooked enough , when I mean a load I mean vampires wouldn't even take a second look! Poppadoms soft and bendy and naans the same, was all abit sad and very disappointing, shame as a brummie a curry is usually a treat.

I’m really sad to write this as I normally order from here and it has always been nice but tonight’s was so disappointing. The meal was luke warm, it was very bland. The sagg aloo had about three small potato’s and the naan bread was hard and tasted horrible, I couldn’t eat it. I will try again but not for a while

Never again. Empty restaurant on a Saturday night should send alarm bells. It did, as soon as our meals came we left. Sorry for the owners, but terrible food.

Manager was rude and unprofessional. We were demanded to pay an overcharged bill and not provided with receipts. This may have been excusable if the food was good, but this was undoubtedly the worst Indian food I've eaten in Exeter. Doesn't help that most of us developed intestinal issues the following day. Particularly concerning as we did not order spicy items, indicating questionable hygiene practices. Considering the proximity of countless fantastic alternative Indian restaurants within a 5 minute walk, I cannot fathom recommending this establishment unless you're seeking bad food and service.

The Madras was very mild, The excuse was the chef was late, never again

my order wasn't delivered at all. my husband after 3 hrs of waiting got in the car to go & get it. we tried ringing restaurant when it was 1/2 hour late & got told it'd be 5 more minutes & that driver was on his way. Still no show. Tried through the app & they updated delivery time to 830pm. we ordered at 6pm. Tried calling restaurant several times after 830 & the number kept going through to a ladies voicemail. Once my husband got to the restaurant they cooked it & got given a bottle of beer

Food was lovely and the service was very polite and welcoming. Unfortunately there is absolutely no atmosphere at all. No music and a very bare interior. We had a few dirty bits that were replaced quickly by staff once they were noticed. Value was very good though.

This place has changed hands and is now a great place! We visited in July and food and service were both fantastic. Some earlier reviews reflect previous owner I think Give it a go, why not?! We had chick balti, veg dupiaza, and naan.. mushroom rice was fabulous

Was enjoyable. Had 50% off over £25 spent. Wouldn’t been happy paying £15.99 for chicken nuggets and chips. They was dried out and hard. The actually curries was lovely and we enjoyed Ty x

We are travelling from Dorset Came across the restaurant by chance. Loved it. Great service and generous portions. Very friendly atmosphere.

We were visiting the area, and decided to go for a curry, we drove past the restaurant, and parked. The restaurant is upstairs, but it is well worth the walk up, the food and service were really good and the prices very good I had lamb dansak, and the wife had lamb shashlick. The starters and mains were cooked to perfection, and the portions just right. So give it a rry you will not be disappointed.

The food itself was pretry good, but it was delivered over an hour before the requested time, with no app/text updates beforehand. We were not home, it has a hassle to try and meet the driver elsewhere, and we had to walk back home carrying the food bag only to eat cold food later...

Needs to work on food. Not quite up to taste. Rubbery chicken uneven seasoning. Flavorful rice but too much coconut. Odd range of menu. Doesn't quite go well.

After reading the reviews was skeptical but I can’t complain the curry was pleasing my only critic which could just be a personal taste was the samosas where a tad to oily also they threw in a free beer which was a lovely gesture!

The food was so bad, we had to dispose it. Their makhani was paint red in colour and every dish was sweet. Order in if you want to have a mini breakdown and question life like we did. Would not recommend 0/10.

Disappointed. Missing our portion of chips. Ordered veg samosas but was sent meat. The veg curry with both biriyanis was very hot when it's normally mild. Been using this restaurant for years and always been OK, so feel a little let down this time.

They are pretty bad for forgetting certain food, whether that be rice or popadoms. For me I was missing the three popadoms I ordered and instead received rice. Food I did get was good, not the best I’ve had from them so I was a little disappointed but it was still very nice. Definitely value for money so worth ordering, would recommend you get curry and rice over biryani though!

Food was great despite missing one item

Delicious but disappointing. We ordered late as a colleague is retiring, and we appreciated the bits added to the order. Unfortunately that colleagues veggie dish had exploded in transit and 50% of it was inside stuck to the paper bag and inedible. I called the restaurant: no answer, I called the delivery driver who told me that another one would be brought, however none arrived sadly, so unable to give many stars for service.

food was really great quality. We could pick faults but even what we could pick those faults with was still delicious.

No mint sauce. No poppadums. Delivered rice after saying no rice. Not hot saag side& not hot prawn dish. The rest ok

Hi, well, where can I start? We ordered different meals which one was a chicken tikka biryani which if made properly should take at least 40 minutes to prepare it’s made properly The chicken tikka and seek kebab were overcooked and dry the chicken tikka. Jalfrezi tasted exactly the same as the vegetable curry which obviously should not the only thing that was edible was the poppadoms and garlic and cheese naan I should’ve realised when they offered 50% off anything you buy over £25 the total bill came to £61 with the 50% off put it down to 30 something I advise anyone not to go to this restaurant. They should not even be on Just Eat. I think I should have a full refund as we had to throw most of it into the bin, if I was to give one of 10 score, it would be zero. Ordered for the 3rd time this evening. Each time I’ve ordered the mixed kebab starter the onion bahji has been missing. I even put on notes tonight about the missing onion bahji when ordering and STILL missing. The mint dip in the pickle tray was also gone off and had to be binned.

The food was so much better than previous. The lamb was lovely. The naan lovely. Sadly the mint sauce was warm & had to throw away. No need for 4 rice on top of the 1 mushroom rice. So next time swap rice for poppadum and cold mint sauce. Nice overall

The food was deviled on time and was hot but mine was very watery and bland and my husband's was quite a bit spicier than he's had elsewhere. Also did not agree with him the next day

Beyond phenomenally bad. Meal turned up missing all of our rice. When I called, there was zero apology, zero acceptance of any wrong doing and they put the phone down on me and would not pick up again. Refused to send the missing items. Definitely going to visit them - not going to let this go. Sick of being ripped off because nobody bothers to hold poor service to account. Very very angry. Can't wait to visit them in person.

Again another lovely meal, don't believe the old reviews. They don't give the restaurant the credit it should have for the massive improvements they have made. keep up the good work and the customers will come back for more.

Ordered a good selection and the 6 x poppadums and a pickle tray was missing but an extra portion of rice was supplied. Tried to phone them (same no on their receipt as well as the website) but number not valid? Tried other known tel numbers and no luck. Unable to contact them to explain and request a partial credit. Happy with the quality of the food and no problem with the delivery - but the accuracy of the order was not good. This was the second time I placed an order and in both cases they forgot items. Had to request the refund directly via JustEat and hopefull this will go through okay. JustEat needs to add another 'stars' option for 'accuracy of order' to help customers with their feedback.
