The best restaurants in Exeter South West

Fantastic service. It can be intimidating going to places that are as authentic as this place but they were so hospitable and more than happy to talk us through each step and what they recommend based on our preferences. We felt so valued as customers and will absolutely be returning when we come back to Exeter. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening!

Queen Street Studios is one of the best accommodation in the Exeter, safe place, easy access to city centre and very friendly staffs. They try to help students in all of life aspects. I am so glad in QSS. Many Thanks management team

Was looking for somewhere for a quick bite. Never been inside one of these stores before. Was quite pricey for what you get - small portions. But the food looked great and was very tasty. However, my fries where tepid at best. I asked for fresh ones as the price was pretty high. Looked like the chip dump in the kitchen was pretty full considering the store was empty I guess the fries were just sitting about. When the server told the kitchen, the kitchen team member put their hand on the fries in the chip dump to gauge the temperature - guess they didn't think I could see. Anyway fresh hot fries came out and were lovely All in all, food quite tasty Quite expensive for what it is Toilets were passable - only disabled toilets available as others were out of order. Overall Average food Above average pricing Could do better

IKEA, Stoughton does things right. That’s all I need to say. From providing directions when my lady and I were lost to going the extra mile to find a product we were searching for, everyone was so helpful! Extra shout out to Xavier and Yvette for going above and beyond. Their service was exceptional.

Puerto lounge was a great dining experience with amazing food, our waitress brooke made us feel very comfortable and happy

We went for our daughter’s birthday. Three of us ordered beef and one had pork. Our daughter’s pork was fatty and the crackling rubbery. The other three of us had the beef, which was described as rump, but it was largely inedible. None of us could finish the meat. When the waitress came to collect our plates she did not ask us how it was, even though we asked for a doggy bag for the meat. I would have complained but it was our daughter’s birthday and i was asked not to. The pub is great, the drinks are great, the staff are great, and we have eaten there before and the food was good. However, we had three plates of meat that were very poor, i don’t know who the chef was that let them be served. It is not as if its cheap snd sadly we wont be eating there again for Sunday lunch.

Best Indian takeaway in Exeter! Very generous portion sizes and always consistently good quality. Tried most Indian takeaways in Exeter, but Spice Magic comes out on top for me.

Really friendly member of staff. We only stayed for one drink before the football, but it was a good visit and really reasonably priced. We'll be back for sure.

We were here for birthday drinks, we were here for a good couple of hours, yes we were a bit loud, but not rude and got told to leave, even though the noise level was loud and people drinking on a Saturday night!!!!
