Chef N Grill in Exeter

I ordered here for delivery and walk in on a number of occasions, it's a good kebab house, staff are friendly (driver today was very polite), food seems fresh, clean and tastes nice. I would recommend.

Food was not delivered. Driver rang to say he was outside. I explained I was waiting outside and I couldn't see him. to which he replied if I wasn't coming down he was leaving and hung up. Rang the restaurant they assured we he was outside while I tried to explain he clearly isn't. Food never arrived requested refund.

The best Kebab in Exeter by far!!! Never had a bad experience with these guys. Arrived still hot,loaded with meat and salad as requested. No errors or time delays and tasted amazing. Until next time thankyou.

Food was cold when it arrived, meat had a funny taste to it and I’m feeling very unwell this morning, will not be ordering from here again

Always on time nice and polite

Tasty food, decent potions and arrived early. Only minor issue was that there wasn’t any sauce on one of the meals as requested, but good overall.

Really tasty food and quick delivery. Only slight downside was it wasn't very hot when it arrived. Will definitely order from them again though.

Popped in to grab some food after a few drinks the guy that served me was extremely rude and abrupt will most definitely not be going here again. The only plus was the portion size but thats only good if you dont mind not tasting what your eating. So to sum it up rude staff that almost seemed like it was a chore having to serve me and very bland food that was under average at best.

Our food was absolutely atrocious. Pizza was cold and rubbery. The chips were cold but also uncooked! The kebab was rubbish and bland. The delivery driver was sooo rude!! All in all it was a terrible experience from, not only just eat but, chef and grill also! All the food has gone in the bin and I have some very unhappy children here.

Order £50 worth of food to probably be one of the worst takeaways I have ever had Chips where under cooked and cold Pizzas had a very strange taste on the base and was also cold Kabab was a bit hotter but the meat had also a strange taste to it Defo will not be ordering from here again

Always a nice Shashlik kebab. With plenty of salad and veg. Please remember to look at the delivery note. I wrote very clear directions to the house, but the driver got lost as he didn't read the note. Thanks.

Unfortunately had to throw food away as it wasn’t cooked properly also items were missing from order. Really disappointed as this has never happened before.

Awful! It was really bad tonight! The Cheeseburger bun was soaking wet and soggy and brown rancid salad in it so i didn't eat it and didn’t get salt and vinegar on the chips which I asked for and I was given the wrong drink!

Chips were rehearted, kebab didn't taste fresh either. Very poor.

If you like raw pizza dough and warm cheese then this is the place for you. Worst Pizza I have ever had. Such a waste of money.

The pepperoni pizza was excellent. It was delicious, 5 stars for that, the garlic bread was alright but the salad that you get with it all was really disappointing. Just a handful of red and iceberg lettuce, and half an onion.

mine extra large kebab wasnt worth the money never had such a small one my missies had large one and was twice bigger then mine

we specifically requested a time for delivery, but had a phone call half an hour early asking where we were. we weren't ready and had to put our meals, with salad in them, in the oven to keep warm until we were ready. Read and respect the delivery times requested. Half an hour early is ridiculous.

The food was cold by the time it got to us I’m pretty sure it was the same food from the first delivery that didn’t turned up

The kebab was like every other kebab i've had and the chips were soggy. The sauce wasn't very nice with only garlic and chilli. Gives a pretty big portion though for a decent price.

Once again we were given the wrong things. Ordered one lamb doner and one chicken doner and were given two lamb doners instead.

Only complaint we had no idea which one had the extra cheese? So we suspect that neither of them did?

I ordered a kebab with salad, but it arrived with no salad on. I also ordered a gateau for dessert, but was given cheesecake. I am not happy. I would like some money back.

I ordered some shish kebab last night. It was the best kebab i ve had in a while. I also ordered garlich mubrooms a a side and absolutely loved it. The delivery driver was very friendly as well. Overall,would recommend it to everyone.

I ordered mixed doner kebab from Chef& Grill. It was the most delicious kebab I’ve ever had. Their salad was also fresh and tasty. Handmade garlic mayo was chef’s kiss. I’ve tried so many kebab shops in Exeter but I can say with confidence this one is the best.

Absolutely vile! Ordered £20 worth of food turned up completely uneatable. Had a very polite conversation with the restaurant about how we wanted our money back we got told a driver would be on the way to offer a refund and take the food back but no one arrived. Each time we phoned up to ask where the driver was we got given excuses. We ordered this takeaway as we had £20 extra and just had a baby didn't feel like cooking but had to anyway as it was our last extra cash. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

It's been a while since I had my last takeaway and I was really looking forward to have a kebab! Unfortunately the quality and the service was disappointing.I had a chicken kebab with burger sauce and salad. When I've opened the box it was literally the pita bread and lots of meat. Hardly any salad or sauce on it.The taste wasn't great either.I also ordered "kids"menu" as Sausage and chips.The taste of the sausage didn't remind me to a sausage taste at all.I certainly won't be ordering again.

What a shame. We've been using C&G for a while now. They usually make some sort of mistake. Either missed something or you get a free surprise. However on Saturday what a disaster. Ordered the special combo Kebab (my usual. No Kofte meat,very little chicken and lamb shish meat. Just a big pile of donner meat Rang them straight away, the guy said he would look at the cctv then me back. No call back, rang them again Monday, spoke to someone who implied that I was lying and trying to get a freebie. What a disaster. You would think

Our food never turned as the delivery driver handed it to a random person . Restaurant said they would replace order then backtracked and told us to contact just eat . Never got the food . Poor customer service and skills to deal with people . Rate them 0 as never got our food and out pocket now

Really lovely. I have started going in once a week to get some cheesy chips for me and my son while my eldest is at a club and each time we've gone in the people have been very kind and friendly. They always put a smile on mine and my sons face. Food tastes and smells lush hopefully we continue to go 😊 x

Ordered chicken doner wrap, I very rarely put 5 stars but it was better than what I was expecting. It tasted great, fresh salad, sauce was good. And I'll be honest I can't stand kebabs normally so good job

Deliver was estimated 20.30pm - 20.50pm arrived at 22.00pm!! Food was cold chips were soggy. It all went in the bin. Tried calling the shop to see if there was a problem after the second time of calling they hung up on me and would not answer the phone. Disgusting customer service food poor AVOID!!!!

Onion rings were soo bad, paid 2.50 for a milkshake, was a yazoo. Mid pizza, wayy too oily
