The food was average. We ordered a sweet and sour chicken, flavour was actually alright. But the colour was odd... Dark dark red, like food colouring had been used. The lemon chicken... The most dreadful thing I have eaten in a long time, I could swear that they used lemon curd as the lemon sauce. My family agreed with my observation. It tasted like something I'd have on toast for breakfast. The service was average, the staff could not have seemed less concerned about making you feel welcome. When I asked if my food was ready, the response was "I'm not sure...", less than helpful. Won't be returning here any time soon. I'd also like to mention, the responses that the owner seems to give to other reviews criticism seems to reflect their overall service!

I work all over the country….this little Chinese is truly awesome! One of my top 5 (so far) . Highly recomend the special chow mein 🤤👍👍👍👍.

Food portions are very big and very good value money. Went at a busy time on a Saturday evening and our food was ready in about 10-15 minutes. We aren't local so was very lucky to find a quality takeaway.

The service is very slow another 45 minutes metservice is very slow

This place has become my new regular Chinese, by far my favourite in Exeter. The curry is deliciously unique against the usual sludge you get from other takeaways in Exeter. The fried rice actually comes fried, something other places have forgotten how to do. The sauces are tasty and thick whilst prices are more than reasonable. The service is always quick, food always hot and orders always accurate. I've seen some of the complaints on google reviews, and they're simply wrong - no other way to put it.

We had good food ,great customer service and the food portions were super big. Overly worth it ,we even had free prawn crackers.We couldn't finish.We'll definitely go back. 👍

Hi we ordered hr ago delivered in 20 mins absolutely fabulous the lovely lady who took our tel order and driver who delivered really great service and food was excellent also thanks for prawn crackers the best in Exeter .

They don't deserve any stars. We ordered food at 5.36pm with a 1 hour 15 wait to then have to call 4 times over the next 1 hour 30 minutes to check it was coming. At 20 minutes over expected deliver time they said food is now being cooked another 1 hour 20 after that aparently the driver is on his way with 2 other stops. I asked for a discount and they said they will take the food back. Outrageous customer service.

I haven’t been in here for years and I’ll never go back. Really Really terrible. Watered down and sweetened sauces. Over salted chips which I didn’t even ask for as I don’t like cheap table salt. AVOID this so called Chinese it’s awful. I can’t say anything else except avoid.

Food is hit and miss sometimes it's nice sometimes isn't not

First time using Asia Chinese and WOW we have been looking for a decent Chinese for a while and have now found one. Food was brilliant, good portions sizes and absolutely lovely tasting. Highly recommend.

Best chinese in exeter with the most lovely owners too. I couldn't get by without my weekly dose of the asias food. I'd recommend the six happiness

This is the absolute worst Chinese I’ve ever had tonight. Usually lovely, but tonight we had SUGAR on our SALTED chips, the chicken was stinking and the chow mein looked and tasted like it’s been reheated about 4 times. The managers attitude when complaining was DISGUSTING, told me to “take it or leave it” about having some vile chicken balls as an apology. The poor girl on the phones was lovely and needs to get a new job away from that vile man. Please see picture attached of the SUGAR on the chips. They also only accept cash to dodge tax and don’t even give receipts so be careful. HMRC BABY!! Xxxxx only given 1 star as it won’t let me give ZERO. I’ve also added a picture of all of the food in a big bag because it was disgusting and NOT eaten!!

Just literally had a chinese dish and a sirloin steak, chinese was ok but the steak went straight in the bin. I can honestly say it was the toughest steak I have ever had. Cannot describe it as anything else but disgusting.

Food is good but they need an online menu that you can read. They also need to review and inforce their Covid-19 distancing guidelines.

So my partner is a very fuzzy eater and trying to find him a Chinese where he don't complain about something has been hard that is until tonight we ordered a special fried rice with extra meat on top and bbq sauce in a pot chicken curry and mini pancake rolls I could not believe it he loved it all not one complaint thanku it was so good to have a peaceful meal without him complaining lol will deffo order again.

Special curry comes with a great portion of chips and the curry is packed with meat, great value for money compared to other places, always comes piping hot, not always the fastest delivery but the food is always hot which is all that matters, in my opinion. please aspect at least 30 mins - 1 hour for delivery.

A really delicious meal, arrived hot and faster than expected despite us living on the other side of town. The only slight downside was that the satay sauce did not have a peanut-y taste like you’d expect it to have, but wasn’t unpleasant. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Just recieved my order. Arrived within 15 minutes courtesy of friendly delivery chap bearing in mind current climate. Food is hot. Well cooked and looks good. Thankyou asia. I will be back 👍

The king prawn curry turned into king prawn sweet n sour by the time I got back to the hotel. And it was horrible. The fried rice was like boiled rice. Give it a miss guys.

Sadly my first and last visit. Firstly they forgot an item from my order. When I phoned to have it delivered the phone was constantly engaged. It was Saturday evening so they were probably busy which is fair enough. My meal was OK, not amazing (chicken & mushroom & chicken foo yung)But my Dad was seriously ill in hospital with food poisoning 2 days later. Which doctors think is possibly a result of the king prawns he ate from here. (King prawn fried rice and king prawns in satay sauce)

Have used Asia on a regular basis for a long while now. Food is always as ordered and consistently of really good quality with decent portions. The staff are always pleasant and polite. - Even when it's clear some people who phone make near on impossible demands. I guess that's just entitlement nowadays. Keep doing what you do guys.

Hot, quick, inexpensive and basic

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Myself and my partner we ordered two meals from the set menu as a treat to ourselves, we eat regularly at Chinese restaurants but this franchise was something else. The chicken balls were almost luke warm inside, and the beef and mushrooms was disgusting, the beef was sloppy and didn't look/didnt have the texture of beef either. We set up some plates for ourselves when putting our son to bed which totalled to about 10 mins before we finally tried our food. As explained over the phone you guys have a 10 minute policy for any complaints, we respect this but we had hope that you had more sympathy for a heavily pregnant woman and her circumstances. Not to mention after having some of the beef and the chicken it was that horrendous that I had vomited all in the toilet as did my partner (pictures can be provided) We kindly requested a refund however OP refused and said we can have money off our next order instead. This place will be avoided like the plague. Extremely angry and DISSAPOINTED!!

Was recommended this place and on a visit to Exeter today thought I would give it a go Beef curry with boiled rice Singapore chow mein and 4 pancake rolls Ordered by phone to collect 1 hr later on way back to Bristol and was quoted £18.50. Which was the Correct price so did not think anymore of it. Picked it up on time and drove home to Bristol. Got home 1hr later only to discover that the 4 pancake rolls (2 each) had turned into a quarter of duck with pancakes etc. Very disappointed. Tried to phone back but not able to get through.

Orderd food pot bbq sauce split everywhere again not drivers fault and rang restaurant instead of giving us a bit discount or money of as was an awful mess they wanted all the food back to do fresh don’t get it what a waste!! Food not as nice anymore either

Food is lovely, but you lost my custom today only because you don't have a card machine and i shouldn't have to go to a cash machine. You're a business in 2018.

Tasteless. Used Asia for a long time and always been impressed but tonight rice arrived pink. No chicken or any sort of meat despite having the same order as always. Horrendous. Going to have to find a different Chinese.

Serve Japanese Udon noodles. Very tasty.

Absolutely amazing food. Massive portions .Being Indian we asked our food to be extra spicy and it was beautifully cooked to our spice taste. Definitely recommend. Lovely people who run the place too.

I can't even rate this as a one as we had Asia on Saturday and the chicken was raw we will never be getting it from here again as the lady they're made us look like a liar as we ordered curry sauce and soft noodles without bean sprouts that we got no curry sauce and soft noodles with bean sprouts the women was so rude i will never go back i had to wait 1hr for delivery to get my curry sauce and noodles after everyome finshed theres

Worse experience of a take a way They have twice mucked up order First time they left out chips from order Rang up and promised to replace when we ordered next time. Had to remind them and they replaced Been there tonight. So ordered 2 portion of Sweet and sour chicken balls a portion of chips Duck and Mushroom with egg fried rice Got home and one portion of chicken balls were missing from order MY son rang up and arranged to go get replacement When he got there he was told he was lying and they would not replace unless he paid. What a bunch of con artist I would steer clear of this money stealing take away Rate this as minus 1

Glutinous, sweet and nasty. Ordered some prawn crackers as an afterthought and was charged about £1.70 for a small bag of old dry ones even the cat wouldn’t eat them.

AWFUL. Drove 15mins for this and paid £30 for the worst Chinese we've ever had. "Quarter" of aromatic duck was a fatty lump and the smallest quarter I've seen in my life, sweet and sour had no flavour other than grease, crispy beef was burnt so badly it was black, and the ribs... Awful, all gristle. All dishes just tasted like grease. NEVER AGAIN.

They are very fast on there delivery and there food is good
