Not worth visiting as very rude approach from the staff!!!Not worth your time

Great value meals. 2 mains for £11.99 and 2 Aperol Spritz for a tenner!

A refreshing change to actually have peas which taste just like garden peas, crisps sweet and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and welcoming. The steak was cooked exactly to requirement (rare) It would, however, have been nice though, to have been told that the peppercorn sauce was an added cost at point of order.

Have never been let down with the food

Excellent experience, got to my hotel (premier inn) later then I wanted so popped in here for last minute dinner. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially Josh who went above and beyond. The smothered chicken was also delicious. Of this experience couldn’t recommend highly enough! Great work

Came here last night with my parents and grandparents. Was the grandparents first time here and they absolutely loved the food, loved the place and the service. We had a young girl, Ellie, serving us and she was welcoming and all smiles from the get go. She was more than happy to accommodate to any of our requests.

I don’t often leave reviews but had a great breakfast here earlier this week and thought I’d leave a review to emphasise the high standard of food and friendly staff. Ben Sully was especially helpful.

We had a lovely meal but the best part about the whole evening was the wonderful waitress called Tam. She was so lovely and an asset to the restaurant. Keep up the good work Tam.

Stopped off for dinner on my way home from work last night. Brain was a bit fried but Ellie really helped me make a decision and didn't rush me when I couldn't decide. Lovely service and the food was pretty good too 👍🏻. You know what you're getting with Brewer's Fayre

Came out with friends for a meal, excellent service by restaurant and bar staff, food was first class asked to speak to the chef to compliment him on the food his name was Ben lovely polite young man and great cook!

Served with a smile and promptly. Relaxed evening and our waitress Ellie kindly ensured we always had what we needed, Nothing was too much trouble, we will be back as polite staff members make all the difference due to how rare they seem to be! Would recommend

Have dined in at this particular establishment a few times due to staying for work appointments. I am always greeted with welcoming staff and nothing is too much. On the past couple of occasions I have been served by a member of staff called Brad he has always been so helpful and polite. Nothing is too much and is very attentive with customers when they are dining/ drinking. Thank you for.such good service.

Came here for a meal with partner and baby and I’ve got to say the attentiveness from Tamera was outstanding. She made sure we were comfortable and to top it off the service was immensely quick! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Lovely restaurant with great ambiance. Food was delicious and served by lovely waitress, Tamera. Tamera, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Came here for a family meal and after about 25 mins the food came out. The portions were good sized and the lady that served us, i think her name was megan, was wonderful. She was happy and smiley and nothing was too much trouble for her. You really made out visit lovely. Thank you megan

Visited with my family and Megan was very polite and amicable, we were overlooked by most other members of the front house team but Megan accommodated our needs and was very efficient. Will definitely return again

Stopped by here on the way down to Cornwall. Never been to Brewers Fayre before so I didn't know what to expect. I'm fussy with food and I'm a snob with coffee but Tamera suggested some things and made sure my coffee was perfectly extra strong! Lucky to have such nice staff in that place. Cheers!

Just recently had a breakfast front of house Chef Dan was very very good on quality of cooking hence I had 2 plate fulls will deffo return very soon couldn't fault a thing well done brewers faye Exeter.

I travelled for a lovely dinner with my daughter and we had a wonderful time the service was great and food was brilliant. Thumbs up to the chef especially, I believe his name was Ben.

Today I went w my family and we were greeted by a genuine nice waiter that was able to help me and my family order and was extremely helpful. Please look for Drilon. if you’re interested in visiting. Wonderful place.

Had an amazing dinner! The food was incredible, but the real star of the show? Drilon, our waiter! This guy is a legend, like if Michelin stars were for service, he’d have five of them. He knew the menu better than I know my Netflix password and made the whole experience a cutesy. Highly recommend especially if Drilon’s working. He’ll make sure your night is chef’s kiss!

A frequent visitor to Midlands and Somerset for my sport. Normally stop in Exeter for breakfast, which sets me up for the day. My waitress Tamera is always friendly and cheerful.

Once again fantastic service from brewers fare we always stop here on our way to Somerset from Cornwall so it's at least every six weeks the food is always hot and delicious especially the curries and we often use it for breakfast which is a very good deal They were very busy today and thanks to Tamera finding us a table and getting our drinks for us we couldn't ask for a better service Tamera was very friendly and helpful and showed an interest in everything we said Which makes a change as some establishments the staff are not interested We always call here as it's easy to park and accessible I would recommend to anyone who is travelling through Exeter

Me and me family decided to go and visit and not only was the food extraordinary and affordable but the service was amazing and helped me and my family the entire time with our dining experience, if you’re ever keen to visit please look out for the young man by the name Drilon and he’ll assist you perfectly.

After a long drive visiting friends, I stopped by for something to eat. The food was excellent, and the staff were impeccable. One staff member in particular, Drilon, was extremely kind and helpful. His service was outstanding, and thanks to him, I will definitely visit again.

Popped in for some quick lunch with family. Food was good, came out quickly and Josh could not have been more helpful & attentive.

Terribly managed (as others have also commented). We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and breakfast is always part of the experience. At this place, the Brewer’s Fayre manager, “Zach”, told us there was “not enough food left”. This made no sense given it’s a breakfast buffet. I suspect the real reason was a lack of staff based on other reviews. Staff seem to believe customers are an inconvenience and were rude and unhelpful. I won’t be returning to Premier Inn soon due to this experience and would never return here. Avoid.

Dreadful place with some very drunk and odd people, won't ever be going there again!

Have been eating at Brewers Fayre for decades and sometimes mixed experiences with the quality of food, but overall always been happy with things and like most other locations enjoy the modern interior decor and layout of this Exeter restaurant. The location is convenient with the M5, Pinhoe and Sowton all just a short drive away. Staff here have always been helpful and friendly doing there best to resolve any ordering or meal issues, the meals themselves are good value for money when using loyalty card promotions, promotion vouchers and menu meal deals etc., perhaps not so for what they are if paying the full main menu prices. Large car park shared with Premier Inn is free, remember to register your car reg number when entering the premises though! Overall a positive experience especially during off peak times when quieter!

Too pricey for what you get. The fish, well we had a job to find any the batter was so thick and hard. The mash was secondary heated and rubbery. Bangers tasted weird. Will not be re visiting.

A great budget hotel. I love Holiday Inn Express, you know what to expect from the rooms, the breakfast is great and great nights sleep. Would definitely use again!!! I would also recommend downloading the app before you go for parking it’s called YourParkingSpace. There is a location at front to do as well.

Great food quick service amazing atmosphere

Cold chips ,peas and tomato, small fatty bit of gammon, would have given zero stars, bit given 1 star for the egg, was the only hot thing on the plate ! Won't be coming back.

Food was nice when it arrived, but took over an hour from ordering to eating, and missed a starter which we had to chase up. Kind enough to give us a free drink for our long wait

Staff was ant very helpful and they took a long time to bring food, food not the same anymore small portions not value for money now

We visited For 2 nights breakfast was brilliant. Such variety, Dinner in the evening was great and Claire was an amazing host, efficient and very pleasant remembering us from the previous night and asking about our special day.

Visited this morning with my partner and 2 kids and what can i say the staff were fantastic they were so busy with bookings but they still managed to squeeze us in making sure we had everything we needed. I think it was the mangeres i don't know her name was lovely. If i could move the staff from this one to the one by mine i would be there all the time. Thank you for fantastic service and being so friendly.

The booking system is a joke!! As stated how many adults booked 2 then states how many kids under 12 none in special requirements I put 3 teens. Which totals 5. When got there we had a table for 2 booked!!!!! The host wouldn't even compromise. Will not be back

Toilets were disgusting and a lot of cubicles were out of order.

Denied service because l was not staying at the Premier Inn as restaurant was anticipating punters from Premier Inn. How do you deny service on a hunch of anticipation when there are no confirmed bookings. Restaurant was not even half full.

Amazing stay here at premier inn as always! One of my favourites if their hotels.

Staff were lively but honestly the food was worse than awful. The turkey had blood running through it I should have sent it back. The stuffing was soft and tasteless the veg well not sure what to say. My husband had a mixed grill which was cold . Very disappointing as it was quite a good place to eat but never again.

I want to start with the positives. The food was amazing. I had a cheeseburger and my father had a gammon steak. Both were amazing. That's where the good stops. My burger was ordered with an extra patty. This was paid for, however it wasn't in the burger! They'd forgotten to add it! Alongside this the service was terrible. It took 27 minutes for our plates to be cleared (not q word spoken by the unhelpful wait staff, not even a "how was your food"), and a further 14 minutes for the desserts to be brought out. I ordered my brownie with custard. Not something they offer on the menu, but this had been agreed as being okay. It was however, brought out with ice cream and not custard. When they corrected this, the brownie came out sizzling from having been through the microwave twice. If I hadn't audibly heard this, I'd have probably been burnt, as there was no warning that it was extremely hot (glad I have some common sense). I have eaten here over 30 times now, not because the service is good, it has never been good. I eat here because the 2 for £11.99 menu, as it very good value for money. The wait staff are, quite frankly, bad at their jobs. Management are great, but they need to crack down on the wait times more. All in all, 2 star experience at a push.

Beware!! Parking is £7 a night which is a lot for out of town parking. Breakfast wasn't very good.

The food was good, the place was nice but needs refurbishing. The waitress was good, but you have to go to the bar to order and get drinks.

We love coming here weekly. Mostly the food is ok we have worked out the best things to have with allergies and food intolerance. Service is great and the staff always make us feel very welcome.

Food and service great 5 stars! Brad was especially amazing 💪, I asked if I could move tables as my laptop died and there was no plug point insight, like a true gentleman he carried majority of my stuff to my new table. Even my massive bright blue handbag. Thank you, you made my day as I spent majority of it stuck on the motorway 🙂

Had a very pleasant experience here! The atmosphere is good and server Zak couldn’t have been anymore helpful! Very well spoken and helpful.

We ordered loaded nachos, a mixed grill, and a stack burger. The nachos came out cold, with a sprinkle of cheese, some spring onions, one tea spoon of sour cream and zero salsa. Upon asking where the salsa and cheese was the staff took it back into the kitchen and came back out 30 seconds later with 10 small diced bits of tomato (which they are calling salsa). The staff presented my with this in front of the bar manager who apologised and said he would sort it out. The plate was then brought back out with the same ingredients as previously presented all all that was cold at the bottom but with a tiny bit more cheese on. But where they used the same food and just reheated it, the sour cream had gone disgusting. Completely inedible. The mixed grill was just as bad, all the food came out cold but burnt, how do you manage that? The onions were missing. So when we asked about these, we received two small cold but yet still burnt onion rings. The stack burger was the best of the lot. Even though the bun was black inside and outside and the chips were cold. The meat inside the burger was ok. Would definitely not recommend eating here

Went in with the intention of dining there so went to sit at a table. Went up to the bar and was told to sit in the bar area because it was 10 past 9 and food stops at 9. Had just got my disabled husband settled so had to get him back in his wheelchair to move him. Went to the bar area only about 5 tables and there was a football match on. Had to take my husband in front of the tv in his wheelchair and was tutted at. We got a drink and we were chatting but not loudly so the football watchers asked staff to turn the tv up, which they did. Couldn’t really chat anymore and felt very unwelcome. Bought some crisps and one member of staff had to go and get a packet of cheese and onion and actually threw them at me on the counter. Appalling staff, 2 women who looked like they wanted to be anywhere else. Rang last orders bell at 9.30, couldn’t wait to get out of the place. Was going to go in for breakfast the next day but couldn’t face it so went elsewhere. Stayed at the Premier inn and staff were lovely and helpful, what a difference.

The place smells dirty and decor looks tired, the staff don't look happy and don't bother communicating with you just dump the meal and leave would not recommend this place to friends and family

Booked a table at Exeter brewers fayre, we've eaten at many other brewers fayre before and quite like it. However, the Service was fairly questionable from the start. We arrived at 16.05 approx after sorting out car parking. Walked in to a practically empty restaurant. Went up to the bar. We were told, we're quiet so sit anywhere, so we did and then went up to the bar and waited a fairly long time to order which is fine.. We ordered 4 plates and waited. One plate came out, followed by two.. a smothered chicken and mixed grill. Still waiting for one.. and then we realised no chips on the smothered chicken. I questioned JOSH, the manager, where the other plates were and why we have no chips. He said 'chips were an option' and I had not specified. I said well it's on the menu and he argued but then eventually after I showed him the menu he went and got some chips for my wife. At this point we are still waiting for a second mixed grill. I went up again and asked a chef, who'd just come out of the kitchen, who went and checked. He came rushing out a minute later and apologised for the mess up. We waited a further 20 minutes ISH and josh bought it out and put it down. We asked if we were due anything as we'd all had to wait etc and my food had gone cold by now etc. to which he said "it was just held up in the kitchen, I can't exactly just give out discounts like that" and he then nonchalantly walks away, despite the fact that one of the chefs had just apologised for the mess up and said they had missed the ticket. We found josh to be less than bothered about service quality and at points, rude having had to go the manager and be a "Karen" type just to get the meal we ordered... I'm not one to make formal complaints normally but we all feel very hard done by having handed over circa £34 and £24 for our food that was late, incomplete and without service. This is also overlooking the fact hat here were ants crawling around the edges of the table.

Sunday lunch with friends restaurant was very quiet which was lovely as we could chat with no trouble especially as two of the guests were partially deaf Food was 😃

Chips only warm and soft in the centre. Double stack burger very small and greasy not as in picture. Served plain with a slice of cheese and a lettuce leaf. The coleslaw was nice. The table I was given was dirty , I had to wipe the rice off it myself.

The meal was lovely, we really enjoyed the food. Service was great too.

Possibly the worst brewers fayre we've ever been too. Run out of a variety of items that were part of meals which were substituted for completely random items with no prior warning even with upgrades we'd specifically paid for. Came out cold afterlongwaits. Wasn't even busy (no surprises there) Staff unenthusiastic and couldn't care less. Kids ordered Sunday smash for dessert which they have regularly at other brewers fares and were well aware it didnt resemble what it should of. They received a dollop of strawberry ice cream each a completely different size from the next. No cream no strawberries no meringue. Given up by this point. I guess they just rely on stranded hotel guests and have no intention of providing any level of service

Came here for a breakfast on a very long journey after numerous motorway services could not satisfy our needs. As a vegan I struggle to find a place that can fully cater for me, however, this was not the case here. Tamera, an asset to the team assisted me on the make of the vegan items available and also pointed out the vegan items on the buffet. The vegan item me were cooked to perfection and was all yummy!
