Upon arrival I had to wait 15 minutes before anyone took my order. Food took ages and I had finished my main dish before the side arrived. My main had less chicken than usual and was watery and the side was half the size it usually is.
Dessert took ages to arrive too. Really poor experience (and it’s not the first time) - I am reluctant to return here if I’m being honest :(
awful! writing this while microwaving my cold food! just really disappointing. I ordered through just eat and after it tells me my food has been made and is out for delivery it then takes an additional 45 minutes to arrive at my door. When I call to ask for an update the guy explained he was angry at the driver as he had taken so long but assured me the food would still be hot. It wasn’t. I call back to explain this and ask for replacement items and get told it’s not their problem and to microwave it. no apology and when I then asked for my money back for those items they said i couldn’t as I was clearly only saying it to get a refund. not my character to do that anyway but all I wanted really was replacement items. the taste of the food that is hot is also not great. not worth the hassle next time.
update having tried my reheated curry it is the worst korma I have ever tasted and is inedible and the rice weirdly tastes burnt. looking at reviews now wish I had first as clearly lot of work to be done here . I hate wasting food and the entire curry has gone in the bin unfortunately.
Nice enough cafe and the cakes are lovely. However they really need to rethink their pricing for children. I paid almost £9 for the smallest sandwich we've ever been given in a cafe, and 3 kids snacks (banana, yoghurt pouch and crisps).... assuming the 3 snacks at the absolute most were £3 it was almost £6 for a sandwich with almost no filling and a tiny slice of thick bread....not overly suitable for a toddler.
Unfortunately it's unlikely i would return and it's a shame as there isn't much suitable in the city centre for kids. There should be a kids menu for £5-6 as there is in most places, even if this consisted of 1 less snack it would be more affordable for many families.
Got a delivery from here, my pollo Italians was missing garlic oil, tomato’s, pesto, wrong base and no cheese, the burnt end pizza had no parsley or tomato’s
They use fake photos online to advertise for takeaway and it looks like the dish should have had multiple different vegetables but end up with cheap leftover potato and carrot strips (I think they’re leftover because of the taste and how soft and soaking it is).
We popped here to have a browse and a hot drink. Found a table in the window and almost gave up getting a drink until wen to another till and magically an assistant appeared when my friend had told them no-one was there. Coffee was good and the shop was light and airy and a pleasant place to enjoy a drink.
Awful meal. Extremely bland and tasteless. The excessive amount of rubbery chicken was terrible, think it may have been supplied by Dunlop! Couldn't chew it for love nor money.
Genuinely could not eat it.
Will not try this place again.

Turned up to watch the football and there was 1 person in the bar. No atmosphere at all. But the match we wanted was on . So sat down few drinks and watched the game. All was well until 15 minutes to go and because some other people arrived and as they wanted to watch the Formula 1 race we were told by the barman he was changing the channel. Just because they outnumbered us. When we then spoke to the manager they stuck to the story of us being outnumbered. So we had to leave. And with only 15 minutes to go we could not find another bar in time and missed 3 goals scored. Just be careful when you enter this place and other people come in after you . Would not recommend at all.
