Totally disgusting the food was horrible. I dont actually believe they know how to cook.really nice people but seriously not cooks.

Beware, this is one of the few businesses in the area that insists on cash only. The food was far too expensive and very disappointing. The chop suey looked and tasted no difference from the satay chicken. The satay had no trace of peanut sauce and the chicken was anaemic and unappetising in appearance. The special fried rice was nothing but soggy white rice pudding with a few peas in it and some ugly slabs of pork on top. The only dish they did not mess up was the basic egg fried rice. We thought this would be a special treat (considering the £32 price tag for two) but considering the poor quality of food, we felt ripped off. We rinsed off the thin, tasteless sauce and froze the chicken to give to the dog. Never again!

Don't normally write reviews to be honest, but I do go by them , felt I had too looking at previous reviews to Little China Woodbury, we tossed a coin to give it a go or not, heads won we were to give it a go, We were pleasantly surprised it was very good, had chow main, chop suey, sweet sour sauce and chips all very hot when we got back to the caravan park near by,absolutely plenty for 2, we both enjoyed it, the lovely lady on the counter also threw in a curtesy bag of prawn crackers. Yes We've had better and paid alot more too , but also had alot worse, Folks give this a try, we will most probably go back again before we finish our holiday.

Disgusting, two goons destroyed the smallest so-called cod & the chips were disgusting, served as a large cod & large chips, not even a child's portion at any other establishment, hidden in bags & when it was taken home, both of us could not eat it. Demanding a full refund for both portions, after an argument when we were expected to return what had to be binned, they paid up. Not only did we get swindled big time on portion size, they told us that it was our fault they were bad because we didn't eat them straight away. How dare they tell us how to eat fish & chips. Check orders carefully before leaving. Don't trust them. Best avoided at all costs.

As a regular I often had to complain because what was ordered - even the most simple things, were not supplied. Getting home with just chips, sausages & curry sauce, they forgot the curry sauce. The meal was therefore ruined as was the anticipation. Today I ordered a LARGE cod, the cod I received was mostly batter and four inches long, yes, that's right, not even what I'd call a small cod or a kid's portion. In fact I've NEVER bought a smaller cod anywhere, even an OAP portion of cod for my dad was bigger elsewhere. So I intend to get ALL my money back from them when I call by & will NEVER buy anything else from them as I can understand the odd mistake, but this is undoubtedly a RIPOFF. BEST AVOIDED no matter where else you have to go, next time I will get my fish & chips in Exeter. ANYWHERE offers better value for money & better quality.

This's a twofer as was here on two consecutive nights while on holiday in the village. The lady serving was very nice, friendly, and welcoming. First visit, English. Tried a number of items: the fish, chips, peas, curry sauce, and battered burger. All cooked to order and very nice, paricularly the fish. Lovely, with crisp, golden, batter. Second visit, chinese. Tried the chicken, noodle soup, prawn toast, 3 delights chow mein, and the banana fritters. Again, all the food was lovely. The soup had plenty of chicken, and veg with the noodles, I really enjoyed the prawn toast which came with a chili dip. And the chow mein very nice. My only niggle (and not to sound greedy), was with the container(s) the chow mein came in. It was pretty small, shallow, compared to the ones I'm used to back home. Maybe I'm spoiled here (up North) but at my local i'd have gotten more meal, and for a little less money. Still, both meals were very good, and i'll deffo be back when next in the village.

Visited whilst on holiday. When we got there I overheard the lady saying cash only, I asked where the cashpoint was but she said it was closed. The lady then kindly offered for us to do a bank transfer. We ordered, made the bank transfer and waited for our order. The lady serving was very friendly, chatting to regular customers. When we got the food back to our accommodation, it all looked fine, much as you would expect from a takeaway meal, except the sweet and sour chicken balls. They were huge, the batter was really dark and they were very oily. My daughter started to eat one but said they tasted 'funny' so my husband and I tried one. The batter was too thick and oily on the inside, they were rubbery instead of crispy and overall quiet inedible. They went in the bin! The chips weren't fresh, so the majority of those went in the bin too. Disappointed really as I then had to arrange for a different meal for my daughter.

None of the dishes had any distinct flavour apart from all the sugar in some of the sweet and sour dishes. Probably fine if you like lots of carbs, fat but zero flavour.

Cash only. The lady who owns little china is lovely. Its our local takeaway i always get chips from here and Chinese at the weekend. Great food decent portions and not overpriced either

Chips were dry, probably left overs warmed up from yesterday & the fish was like a crusty fish finger. Not impressed for the price charged.

Staying at webbers park so it’s only 2 mins in car or 10 min walk down lane Very good food only downside is cash only so take cash

We came from Crealy Meadows and ordered a takeaway over the phone. They don't take cards, only cash, however you can pay via bank transfer. Food was hot and delicious, will definitely return next time we come to Crealy

Can't afford to get a takeaway too often but the duck n pineapple is AwEsOmE.... Duck n plum to be tried.....

An hour for takeaway fish and chips 👎far too long I know its covid but too long a wait. Needs more organisation

We recently stayed nearby on a short family holiday. We all decided to have a Chinese and take it back to the lodge. So we ordered from little China. It was a good little take away quite expensive but the portions were quite large. Food was good but not one of the best I’ve had.

Had large cod and chips last night and was one off the best pieces of cod I have had in s long time very tasty would highly recommend

One of the best Chinese takeaway we have been to, food great, staff lovely and helpful. Will go there again when in Devon.

Was looking forward to the Chinese meal after reading reviews. Spare ribs were overcooked and all fatty. Sweet and sour balls were overcooked. Sauces very lovely. Maybe we just went on a bad day.

We used the takeaway while we was camping, the food was very nice, even when we got back it was still really hot, would recommend, the lady working there was nice and welcoming.

No card machines. Was given the wrong rice, with a horrible sauce all over it and was very watery. The duck was horrible and chunks of it in the food, not sliced properly

Pedimos comida desde aquí dos veces en nuestra estancia de una semana. La carne rallada y el pollo agridulce en masa fueron los favoritos, pero en palabras de Jurgen Klopp "Todo está bien".

Friendly local takeaway with above average food for this kind of establishment. Seaweed is excellent as is the crispy aromatic duck. Lemon chicken and deep fried shredded beef are both favourites. Serves fish and chips too.

We took a chance on this takeaway and we're delighted with the dishes. Spare Ribs in barbecue sauce, chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. Thoroughly enjoyed everything.

Nos quedamos en un campamento local y pasamos la comida para llevar en nuestra primera noche, así que decidimos después de lanzar nuestras carpas que las usaríamos. . . wow no nos decepcionó, llamamos a la orden ya que era para 10 personas y todos queríamos cosas diferentes, la comida estaba muy bien hecha y muy caliente, el pescado y las patatas fritas es enorme y un pescado con mucha carne y una rival en tamaño a Moby Dick, yo personalmente tenía chino y estaba lleno de sabor, el miembro del personal también era encantador y amable, volveremos cuando volvamos al campamento.

Had a really nice meal, ribs and chicken in black bean sauce. The lady taking the order was really friendly. As an out of towner it's best to ring and place your order as parking is a nightmare.

We have been using this place since moving to exeter two years ago and have never been disappointed with the food or service fresh cooked food as I always ask for onion and mushroom to removed and it's never a problem they will adjust the heat level to suit any taste. meat and fish dishes are always well packed with the main ingredient .great variety of food not as big as some takeaways but this is the advantage of a smaller menu better food not cooked in a hurry because of to many items to juggle. salt chilli squid or prawns so good

We have used this take-away on numerous visits to a local campsite and have always found it to be good value and decent quality. This year, we felt it had upped its game; the service was swifter than previously (we telephoned our order ahead) and the food seemed of higher quality: good sized portions and fresher-seeming ingredients. We look forward to returning next year.
