Overall incredible food and friendly service. Best Chinese takeaway I've had.

Ordered a small order through Deliveroo mid-Wednesday evening. Ordered the Hot Fried Crispy Beef, Egg Fried Rice and a Chicken Chow Mein. The food was delicious and the portions were generous which was ideal. Thanks to this the value for money was certainly worth it. Have used Far East Delight four times now and haven’t yet been disappointed. Definitely worth the trip/order! As the order was made through Deliveroo, American Express credit cards were accepted. If ordering over the phone and collecting and paying in store I am unsure if American Express credit cards are accepted.

Ordered a large takeaway order for 6 late evening on a Sunday through Deliveroo. The estimated delivery time was bang on and they arrived on time, which was good news as we were all hungry and looking forward to the takeaway. They were kind enough to include a complimentary few bags of prawn crackers and a bag of spring rolls. Food was delicious, service was great. Overall a great experience and highly recommend if looking for a healthy, flavoursome and tasty Chinese Takeaway.

Fried rice and chicken balls were cooked perfectly

Food was not nice at all 😔 also the chips were very dried and rubbery .My family tried different cartons that came and thought all of them weren't nice at all! To the point we had to throw most of it in the bin 😒 Definitely would not use them again. So disappointed.

Fantastic from ordering to delivery it was under 30 minutes.

Yeung chow fried rice, beef and broccoli and chicken satay, all hot, all lovely. Highly recommended.

Delicious as usual. Kitchen feedback, mushrooms in the fried rice?! Never have I ever had mushrooms in rice, luckily I'm not allergic, it's a staple dish to have with a main dish, unless stated it shouldn't have mushrooms in it.

The food used to be really good from here but the last few orders it has changed and gone downhill. The curry is really runny and abit salty and the rice is abit too hard . The flavour just ain’t nice like it used to be

The food was lovely, as usual! More often than not I will go for salt and chilli chicken, it's warming, but I would like to see some fresh chilli in there, some feedback, not a criticism. Highly recommended.

Food took a long time to arrive, just eat even text us to say sorry it was delayed. This has been our regular Chinese since we moved to Exeter last year but sadly this will be our last, the quality of the food over the last few orders has gone downhill, not sure what’s changed in the restaurant but we are going to be going elsewhere in future. Last time the rice was off, the restaurant sent us out new portions. Tonight the chips, noodles and seaweed are all burnt, seaweed is brown and inedible. Noodles taste like an ash tray and chips look a few days old and refried. So disappointing having spent £50 on a payday treat and half of it is disgusting.

Never ordered from here before, food was hot and tasty as a Chinese takeaway should be. Particularly enjoyed the chicken balls and the pancake roll was lovely.

Usually the food is brilliant but this time it was really disappointing. I suspect it was due to it being busy but the prawn toast was burnt and hardly any prawns in. Roast pork chow mein had hardly any pork in. Definitely not as good as previous orders.

Food bang on time and piping hot

I'm sure it was because they were busy, but our chicken balls and prawns on toast were over cooked, edible nevertheless. Chicken chow mein was lovely. Would still recommend.

I normally have special fried rice and curry sauce delicious but opted for king prawn curry with rice very disappointed six prawns and far too many onions food was warm I order from them regular so hoping it’s just a one off but still delicious

Pancake rolls or pancake rolls Hong Kong style (2), I chose pancake rolls as I know it has always been 1 large pancake roll and it ended up being 2 pancake rolls, please can you change the listing? Rest of the order was outstanding and would highly recommend. :)

it was freezing cold, really sad we couldn’t enjoy our chinese tonight. which is surprising because of how fast it had come. Probably already made but hanging around too long on the side

Big portions ,chicken balls were amazing as was the chicken in black bean sauce,don't like sweet and sour sauce so they happily swapped for curry delivered quickly and had discount definitely will order again

Excellent Food, Excellent Service

Food was good and it arrived early which is good. A little annoyed though that I hadn’t spent enough to get delivery so had to add a drink to get the price up enough and never received the drink. It doesn’t matter whether I wanted the drink or not but I’d paid for it so should have received it

Bit disappointed this time, this is my usual takeaway and I have used it many times, I can only assume that the normal chef was on holiday. Starter - large pancake roll had to be eaten with a knife and fork due to the oil that it was cooked in wasn't drained properly causing it to be soggy on one side because it was sitting in a pool of oil at the bottom of the bag. Main - Chicken curry and Singapore fried rice, both cold, the curry had far too much onion than normal and not much curry flavour, fried rice had carrots (shredded and sliced) green peppers and what I think was Chinese 5 spice, never had these in this dish before. Side - Prawn crackers, they must have changed the supplier or brand as they were tasteless compared to what was used previously. Though all edible, it wasn't to the usual standard I expect from here. : (

Ordered sesame fried chicken. It was literally a single flavourless piece of dry sliced chicken breast with sesame stuck to it. No spices, sauce or flavour. Also ordered egg fried rice which was also plain but edible. Very disappointed - will not be ordering from this place again. I feel like I flushed £11 down the drain.

We normally order our Chinese from this restaurant and haven't had any issues before. But the chips we received this evening were most inedible. Dry, brown and shrivelled they honestly looked and tasted like they'd been cooked on a previous day and warmed up. The same was true of the sweet and sour chicken extremely dry and rubbery. Very disappointed from a usually good take away.

We had some friends around and decided on a takeaway, all was good apart from the vegetarian chow mein that had no veg in it, just noodles and bean sprouts, which was the only part of the order this person wanted , so a bit disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! curry watery and cold when arrived, deep fried won tons, just a bag of smashed up mush, tasted greasy and disgusting, prawn toast awful, almost broke a tooth, and to top it all off delivery driver was rude and aggressive to my son who answered the door for me, Will not be using again! Do yourself a favour and save your money!

Driver wasn't given correct address, he then didn't read the additional information given by me, he also had the bag upside down which caused the soup to spill out over everything else.

Singapore noodles weren't spicy Crispy seaweed was completely coated and crunchy with granulated sugar and a layer of sugar was left in the bottom of the container - not at all nice.

Food wasn’t even lukewarm despite being told it was cooked fresh and delivered to us straight away. I don’t know what they used to spice the Singapore chow main but it was covered in a powder/paste it was inedible. They must have left ingredients out of the rendang chicken, it was described “hot & spicy”. It was a cold watery hoisin sauce with 3 bits of chicken, few cashews and onions. Chinese chicken curry should have been called Chinese onion curry! Once the huge onion slices removed it was not even a child portion left. The pancakes had bendy pale bendy duck, rock hard pancakes and dried out veg. Rang the manager and told him that the meal was inedible and this was not the first time this has happened. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but after this I will not be ordering from them again.

Salt & Chilli Chicken, Crispy Beef, Yeung Chow Fried Rice plus Prawn Crackers. Probably the best I have had from them to date. Non-greasy and flavoursome. :)

As always the rice curry sauce and banana fritters were delicious but this time the chips were not the normal quality and we’re rubbery
