Great place to meet friend for a coffee. St. Steven's castle good for a walk afterwards or cycle from Alderholt, Wimborne or Ringwood.

Ordered via Uber eats, £7.50 for some awful mushy chips with Burger cheese. How on earth you call this cheese & chips I don't know! Won't be ordering from this fish and chips again. Everything seemed old & greasy. Not fresh at all.

What a find... an absolute gem... As a last minute booking for a table of 8 on a Saturday evening how fortunate we were that the hosts were so obliging. Nothing was left to chance & their attention to detail was outstanding. The food was exceptional, from the quality of the ingredients used, to being presented on hot dinner plates... Everyone said how much they enjoyed their meal - simply delicious & our compliments to the chef... The front of house staff were very welcoming & so helpful... Would I recommend The Albion 'Yes' without hesitation & we will definitely be returning again.

Decided to try this place for my daughter’s birthday, as they have a small play area and it was a nice sunny day. Booked in advance as wasn’t sure how busy it would be. We arrived a lot earlier than expected, however the staff were happy to show us to the table early. Lots of choice on the menu and was advised of items not available. Sadly after ordering our meals, we were advised they only had one pie left, so two of had to change our choice. Portion sizes were good and kids were happy with their meals and loved the play area. The kids enjoyed it there so much, they convinced my parents to take them back today for lunch!

Despite my visit being on a Saturday (late afternoon), the place was very quiet. Pot of tea was OK but water could have been hotter. Wife's cappucino was apparently also not very warm. Bread Pudding cake was tasty and daughter's fish finger sandwich was rated highly and was substantial. Range of available food was not massive and we thought the prices were a little steep but overall, decent enough for a light bite.

This bar/restaurant is CLOSED DOWN. The system took our booking bug we got there and all the lights were out !!! Don’t waste time going

Wonderful Georgian building. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was tasty. Great choice for Gluten free and vegan. Overall very happy!

Order for collection half the order was missing chips for dark horrible greasy virtually uneatable fish was just a mash of batter. Batter was dark and horrible again full of grease oil. Look like it’s not been changed staff with her down make up all over their face faces and incredibly rude Environmental health of World due a visit You could hear staff talking about half the order been missing and seem to find it amusing

Stayed 2 nights on our way back from Cornwall. Room was good. Food was reasonable, but a bit corporate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The best bit was the fortnightly quiz which we were lucky to join in with.

We had a lovely meal at the Monmouth Ash recently, great food good amphitheatre and all the staff were so friendly. Myself and a friend are gluten free, they accommodated for this with plenty of choice. Definitely recommend it, we will be going back again.

We go to Stewart's coffee lounge very regularly for morning coffee and cannot rate it highly enough. We love their excellent cappucinos and coffee and the BEST fruit scones. The staff that we meet in the mornings, Grace, Amy, Amelia and Archie are very friendly, professional and good natured and we appreciate them very much. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Plenty of free parking, great offers with our loyalty cards, a wide variety of plants and lovely staff. We count ourselves lucky this establishment is within walking distance of our house.

We wanted to make a stop off on out long drive from Devon to Sussex and didn’t want to stop at any of the usual chains. Then this place appeared and we quite liked it. It’s definitely not fancy! But the food was decent and there was plenty of it. Also, (unexpectedly I must say) they had a gluten free menu and lots of options for coeliacs. I would just double check things with them (they weren’t sure on the salad dressing), but otherwise all good.
