One of the worst English breakfast that I have ever had. The fried eggs were rock hard on all three plates so consistant, and when my wife cut her egg in half oil ran out and smelt bad. The beans and bacon was cold . 2 young waitresses more concerned with playing with their phones then clearing up or serving anyone.

I would Strongly advise against anyone coming to this Café. The manager's are extremely incompetent at their jobs. The last time I was here I watched one of the managers screaming at the staff member for a small mistake. I feel genuinely sorry for the young people who work there, just trying to do their jobs with such disgusting management. I'm sure one of the 17 year old girls working there for minimum wage could run this place better!!! Not to mention the food which is absolutely vile. From what I've witnessed about the managers this was no suprise as the food here is definitely NOT cooked with love but with gross incompetence. I would rate this place 0 Stars if I could. Spend your money elsewhere! This Café is a stain on some of the genuinely good places in the Wimbourne area.

Maybe we were unlucky on the day but... no hot food was on offer that day, so we settle for the beef sandwiches and coffee. The coffee was served rather cool, and the beef sandwich was a disappointment for £10.50. I expected something good at the price especially from a farm shop - better than Starbucks etc but not value for money.

I called in to The Vines Cafe, formerly Vines Country Kitchen, on the A31 near Wimborne for breakfast. Various options, I plumped for the small English. Small is definitely not small. Well cooked and presented, and excellent vale for money. Cafe was pleasant, as were the staff. Will certainly go again.

On route to our holiday destination we stopped at this restaurant. It looked a bit rough and ready but the welcome was great and the fresh cooked food was excellent. Hubby had the all day breakfast regular size for £7.99 which was plenty. I had the sausage egg and chips with beans at £9.99. Extremely good value for money. The other food for diners was equally of good quality. Well worth a stop. The garden centre on the same sight was also good to look around

We always stop here for breakfast when we are travelling along this road. I can honestly say that we can’t complain about anything we have received. My husband normally has a full breakfast and I have the eggs black stone, which is like eggs Benedict but with bacon. The staff are always welcoming and the service is quick. Good value for money and a great mug of proper coffee. There is an added bonus with a butcher shop next door selling local produce and a farm shop. Lots of parking for both cars, vans or motorhomes

I made a visit to the cafe today, and must say wasnt impressed at all. When we got in we welcome not given a welcoming smile, in fact the young girl gave us a look as if we had stood in something. We ordered a cup of hot water, diet coke and bounty milkshake. The coke and water came almost straight away. The milkshake followed 20 minutes later, its as if the staff forgot the order. I watched the young girl make it, she scooped some ice cream, dropped a bit, picked it up with her fingers and added it to the blender. Earlier I had seen her putting her hair behind her ears, never saw her wash her hands.

What has happened to what used to be a lovely Cafe, where we used to go all the time. Went there today about 10am, you would think as its early it should be clean, floors looked like they hadn't been swept for a few days, really dirty, had to brush old food off chairs before you sat down, food arrived, below average, soggy undercooked Scrambled eggs, greasy mushrooms. Young lady then cleaned 6 tables all with the same cloth, just kept turning it over, never wiped the chairs or the plastic menus which you especially have to do now.Used the toilet, the big bin hadn't been emptied for a few days, was overflowing. Generally a very disappointing visit, won't be going back anytime soon.

Not shown to a table until you first register in and wipe your hands. (Guess the resident spiders must be OK, if their cobwebs in top left corner of back door and in bottom left corner of windowsill are anything to go by).Only one toilet outside, which was shared between customers of cafe and farm shop. Other two toilets were for staff only. So can result in a bit of a queue, and a very slippy floor when it gets wet.

After a three hour drive from Cornwall on my way to Sussex I was ready for a stop. I went into the cafe and first of all asked where the ladies loo was. The woman behind the counter answered in an offhand manner. So I missed the sign in the car park! I said I would be back for a cup of decaffeinated tea. 'Three pounds', she said! I needed a break and a drink and my usual friendly and welcoming stop at Bere Regis (The Little Chef) had unfortunately closed a few years previously. The toilets were a disgrace. There was blood on the loo seat, they smelled of urine and looked as if they hadn't been cleaned that day or indeed the previous day. There was no soap in the dispenser, and at a time when the corona virus was starting to affect the whole country and we were being urged to wash our hands. I went back to my car and used anti-bacterial wipes to clean my hands. I should have left at that point. The tea was almost undrinkable, but I added sugar to make it palatable, The tables were cursorily wiped with a grubby cloth leaving crumbs behind, and the carpet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a week as it was covered in dropped food. A couple came in with their teenage son at 2.01 pm wanting lunch only to be told 'No lunches after 2pm'. They left in disgust.. This place needs a complete overhaul and the staff need retraining in customer service. I will never go back.

We came here for breakfast as mum was dying for a bacon sandwich. She had a BLT which she really enjoyed, I had a sausage sandwich and was really disappointed. As there was a butchery next door I was expecting a sarnie with decent bread, full of delicious sausages. I got a couple of tasteless sausages in thin white bread.Tea served with milk in, in a stained mug.It was 2pm and the carpet was littered with chips and food debris.Food was cheap (just over £5.50 for a sausage sarnie and a mug of tea) and so I guess you get what you pay for. They allow dogs which is a big plus. Mum and dad love it, I won't be going back. The cleanliness wasn't up to scratch for me I'm afraid. Each to their own!

We went in for breakfast. At the counter to order, the lady did not say 'what can I get you?', in fact she said nothing at all and just stood there with her pen waiting for us to speak. Kind of rude. We had to clear away someone else's cutlery to sit at the table we wanted, and 4 members of staff watched us clear it ourselves without moving an inch. The baguettes were nice, sausages were nice, the pot of tea was not nice. Someone on our table asked for an extra plate, and when the waitress went back to the till, the lady there said 'what's wrong?' already assuming we had made a complaint. If you don't enjoy working there and speaking to customers... don't work there?

A selection of ‘today’s specials ‘ seemed too good to pass so we didn’t even look at the menu choosing the best cauliflower cheese, toasted garlic bread and a generous salad garnish we’d had in a long time. Cheesy sauce was flavoursome and generous and well toasted round the edges. Garlic bread crunchy and delicious and the salad freshly prepared. We had Earl GreyTea to follow served as loose tea in a single use tea bag which came with its own egg timer to tell us when the brew was ready. It was seriously good. I only wish I’d asked if they sold the tea loose to take some home.Their cake selection was huge as were the portions but sadly we had no room left. Fabulous atmosphere and food, we asked about the previous reviews stating that the sausages from the butchers next door were not used by the cafe and the reason is that although they would love to use their produce the owner of the butcher would only charge the cafe full retail price and would not do any kind of deal for them! Shocking! Considering they go through 40kg of sausages a week and more during busy periods.

We popped in here and noting there is a Farm Butcher adjacent to the Cafe we figured the food would be excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful but at £ 9.95 for a breakfast, imagine my disappointment when the breakfast that arrived had the cheapest sausages known to man on the plate and not decent local produce I expected for the price point. We were really looking forward to trying this place as we had read good reviews. The breakfasts we were served were very disappointing. My scrambled egg was dry and badly cooked. This is a really convenient place to stop on the A31. Reasonably priced cafe (We only had coffee and cake so can't comment on hot food). Cute little cafe and an outdoor seating area too. I'm sure we will stop here again.

I can’t recommend this enough for a lunch stop- lovely homemade sandwiches with homemade chutney (so good we bought a jar) and locally sourced ingredients- all for very good value. Must stop here if visiting the Dorset area!

Had lunch with one of my Sons. Nice friendly service. Will come back to try an all day breakfast when I’m out on the bike. Coffee cake was great and prices were reasonable.

I had always fancied stopping here on our regular visits to Plymouth but hadn't done so before. I have been missing out. I had heard good things from others and thought we would give it a try. I wished I was hungrier because the food was fab I had the gluten free dairy free breakfast but with 'normal' bread and I couldn't fault it Hubby had breakfast baguette which was too much for him daughter had BBQ chicken sandwich - she left the salad garnish but this was her taste rather than anything wrong. Very generous portions and drinks - a big glass of fruit juice, Just lovely

Had lunch in this friendly bright kitchen restaurant. Food all freshly cooked and extremely generous portions. Cater for dietary requirements, coeliac disease, dairy allergies, vegetarian etc. Very reasonably priced extensive menu .

Mixed feelings on the cafe since change of hands! The food was still tasty but portions smaller, prices the same or a tad more! No as much choice on menu. And the toast you get with the breakfast is ‘a’ slice which I thought was abit tight! I did prefer the place as it was before the new owners changed! It worked and we went regularly, wouldn’t be rushing back....:

We popped in for some lunch and Sharon found us a table and looked after us really well and made us feel like valued regular customers.

What a beautiful ambience, then there is the excellent home cooked food. The 3 of us enjoyed a different main course and cleared our plates. David is a dedicated owner, chef and exceptional host. Good wines too and comfortable clean surroundings. Dawn has a lovely welcoming personality.
