You can't beat wetherspoons for service and prices, the food was excellent as usual

Not friendly. Manager is dreadful and do not even think about making a complaint or you'll be banished never to darken this door again. Food poor quality, staff easily upset by the simplest of japes(if you employ kids hardly surprising) however you can take as much drugs as you can get up your nose with complete impunity!!

Very busy Valentine's Day lunch. Foodvl was marvelous and the service was very good. Great atmosphere, even though I was extremely poorly I had a great time.

Just had lunch with a friend and was bitterly disappointed when I asked for a strongbow off the pump ( going by Poole’s Wetherspoons) it was blackcurrant which I don’t like. I asked for a different cider as I didn’t want a fruit flavoured one. The manager wasn’t interested and told me I would have to pay again!! I told her I wasn’t informed about the flavoured cider and she wasn’t as helpful as the Poole branch, to which she replied basically I can live with that!! If that’s the type of manager pubs are employing these days, it’s no wonder we are losing pubs!! VERY UNHELPFUL!! Won’t be going again!! The other staff are usually very nice, but if she’s the face of Wetherspoons……….

We visited twice for breakfast - amazing value . Big breakfast and unlimited coffee. Seating was good and wasn’t too busy and food arrived quickly

Very disappointing, they go our order wrong and when eventually food came out it was Luke warm and toaster wasn’t working I imagine because “ toast” was like bread. Didn’t get a refund because order was wrong instead had to pay £2.00 extra! Bizarre.

Bad Wetherspoons ! We came in at 5 for food and drink and we were antagonising us by some woman assuming it’s the manager , the people who had id were drinking only and she kicked us out for no reason. We were even on the table next to our relatives and she just made a big scene for no reason and food was cold too wouldn’t recommend I’m afraid

I came in for a nice breakfast. The food was good normal quality. The service was not good. Firstly the coffee machine had obviously not been cleaned correctly the night before as it wasnt dispensing hot chocolate properly. After my breakfast i was listening to my podcast with my eyes shut untill i was rudly interupted by a member of staff who agressivly informed me that i was not aloud to sleep in the pub. I later checked on the weatherspoons website for any mention of this rule as i have a disabilty which can cause me to nod off every now and then but found no mention of this rule. Honestly this pub needs to work on their customer service and inclusion training.

We went to Wimborne weatherspoons on Saturday 16th November for a meal.my husband my son and myself. My husbands meal and sons meal was OK but they got my order wrong. When I pointed out that I had ordered chicken wings with rice but got chicken nuggets they said they would refund my money but would not offer me another meal as the kitchen was closed this was 8.40pm . I was left with no option but to eat the nuggets which I really don't like. Won't be going back. Very disappointed.

A nice enough pub for breakfast, brunch or dinner. Not the tidiest place I've ever been but it's always busy and that might be the reason.

Brilliant value for money It's not always easy to get a seat here and we had to ask for the tables to be cleared but it was a fantastic meal for lots of people and it all came out in good time

Price of a pint of ale, Abbot/Doom Bar etc around £2.88. Place was packed, service was excellent and the food arrived quickly. For the price, around £10 on average including pint, you really can't complain. Definitely recommend!

Came into the pub as a group. A group of Dad's may I add. We meet up once every few months from the local area. We were then kicked out by the least professional manager that I have ever witnessed (name was bradley). All because a couple of us were "flipping" beer coasters in a small area (not disrupting any service). Even the door security didn't understand why we were getting kicked out! Just seemed that the team working wanted an early night rather than making money for the business. Being in senior management myself in a similar business just felt wrong letting it slide by without comment. I think that your managment of this team needs to be looked at.

I am a 57 year old women & when purchasing my meal with an alcoholic drink was asked if the drink purchased was for me. This was a first & I hope the last as the person I walked in with was also 57, so I do not understand why? The barmaid asked this question, which I found to be very inappropriate. The meal, however, came very quickly & was hot.

Ramen bowl is amazing big bowl of food

Very busy Weatherspoons, so usually have to wait sometime for your food. It’s somewhere to go for a cheap meal and drinks.

A really great, historic Wetherspoons with good quality food at a very good price and in the centre of Wimborne. Definitely recommend.

Waited ages to be served due to bar staff incapable of serving a queue of people and chose to just serve randy people who walked straight to bar and and ignored others waiting 10 minutes plus to be served.

Staff work really hard but there simply isn't enough of them, dirty tables, dishes left on tables attracting wasps. In my opinion going down hill.

My first visit here and it won't be my last. Everything was spot on, staff very pleasant and the food just right. A jewel of a 'Spoons in my opinion.

Had a large nixed grill some of it was raw

Visited last night with friends 12 august 7pm . We were a family of 5 spent over 100£ on food used app to order food . Food ok . A young lady blond waitress aged 18/20 speedy with big false eye lashes , thought she was off clubbing.. Very rude threw our sweets at us . She got it all wrong . Demand to see the order on my friends app. Yes we were right ??? No sorry nothing . 5 mins later she bought out the correct ice cream sweets Threw them at us , nearly all over my elderly friends and stormed off . Upset our 14 year old nephew too We won’t be going back anytime soon . Shame ruined our lovely friends Get together shame . We spend a lot of money with spoons

Cold food. Traditional breakfast. Everything must have been cooked in advanced as it was lukewarm at best and served on a cold plate. This was 8.45 am so who knows when this was actually cooked for it to be cold at this hour.

Excellent venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Perhaps Tim Martin could use some of his share sell off money to employ a couple more staff in his pubs to keep the tables clean .... staff OK - food OK but please can we have clean tables for a change ... seems to be the same problem everywhere ~ uncleared dirty plates ~ greasy tables😫

Kust went for a cup of tea but nice atmosphere

Okay, so this is the third weatherspooms I have visited and just like the other two pubs the food is aweful, I watched the pass very closely along with the cooks, and what a mess, not once did I see them wash their hands, they just rubbed them on their cloaths. The burger was cold and over cooked, it had no flavour, but that is because they cook them on a burger press, the food was left on the pass too long, the cooks used their hands to place food items on the plate and where they should use kitchen tongs, I have now come to the conclusion that all weatherspoons cater poor food, yes its not a five star restaurant but I think with proper chefs and a revamp of the menue and cooking skills it could be better. But for now I give up on coming to eat in places like this, I've been in the trade for nearly 20 years and I would never serve food like this.

The young man who served our fish and chip s was a credit to the team polite and helpful.

Best place for fish and chips in this area by a mile. Nice big cod, crispy batter and chunky fish, decent chips and loads of top notch mushy peas. Can't fault this pub .

Just had an unsettling encounter with the staff at this venue today My self and 2 friends were enjoying our meal when 3 drinks appeared after the use of the (Wetherspoons game) on face book as we quite commonly do not only to receive but to give back to others and with the use of the game we have drinks and more arriving at the table after we have started to enjoy the drinks we were rudely approached by a young member of staff demanding receipts of purchase to which we continue to explain the situation after this a further (older) member of staff unbelievably continues to ignore are reasoning, even though we were offering to pay (for their mistake), which was declined by her but still continuing to call all three of us thieves and committing a crime. I have never had such disrespect in a venue before and am disgusted with there behaviour and attitude towards their customers I am hoping this review will resolve there foul attitude towards there regular loyal, paying customers.

Great prices 1 of if not the best pub in Wimborne

Three of us ordered wraps which were shown on menu as £4.69 including a drink when my husband went to counter they asked do you want salad or chips no mention of cost of additional things and was charged £26 in total husband returned to table and told me price he went back to counter and queried it and was told it was a large wrap (there was no mention of size of wrap as my husband pointed to order on menu) which said small wrap no mention of a large wrap! The chicken was so spicy my mouth was uncomfortable for ages afterwards the salad wasn’t fresh the lettuce had “off” bits in it - I certainly will never be eating in there again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone I know I felt it was a rip off!

Typical good choice of a Wetherspoons menu. Service was good using the app and even tempted me to try something different which turned out to be very tasty. As we are on a weight loss diet, it is really helpful having the calorific values for each item including any additions. This looks fairly small from the outside by when you go in you soon realise it’s very big and so there are plenty of tables available. The food we had today was: Ramen Noodles with added chicken breast, peri roast chicken, apple crumble (really delicious!) with custard and another with ice cream. All of it was very tasty.

Horrendous! Recommended if you like cold food but I don't but after waiting a whole 45 minutes thats what I got. Staff were uninterested and could only offer a new plate which lets be honest after the 45 minute wait for some cold food, I wasn't willing to. And then the cheek I should have asked to speak to a duty manager when that was never offered and the team couldn't give a hoot. I will not be visiting a Wetherspoons again.

The pub, the service and the food are decent enough. But the acoustics in the place are awful, it only takes one noisy group to make noise levels increase to uncomfortable levels, sadly no relaxing pints here.

Very reasonably priced, reasonable but not stellar food. A short measure of the (very cheap) beer was provided and not topped up properly when I requested it. Food arrived very quickly.

Thought we would pop in for breakfast, arrived just after opening and it was quiet, ordered one full breakfast and an egg benedict. Food arrived at our table fairly quickly and started eating , the food was almost stone cold it also looked like it had been left hanging around for some considerable time. The one star is for the coffee which was good especially for the price for unlimited cups but that's all the positive I can give really.

We really enjoyed our day in wimborne and at lunch time visited the man in the wall had a lovely lunch cooked very well and delicious Will be back again soon

This is a large and busy Wetherspoons. It is always bustling with people whatever time of day but is often so busy around mealtimes that it is hard to find a table. This is testament to it's popularity. The food is good value for money and always hot. The drinks are great too. We especially like the free refills on the hot drinks.

Once again, the breakfast needs to be hotter.!! Baked beans were cold and this seems to be a recurring problem.!!

We ordered a couple of mixed grills . When it turned up we were both shocked . The so called "rump steak " looked like an old bit of shoe leather . Over cooked . It was hard to tell what the other meats were . One sad looking tomato . And one sad looking mushroom. Cold chips . Whole meal looked dreadful . Looking at it it was hard to believe it was "cooked" on the day . Very disappointing. 2 other people sent meals back while we were waiting .

We know what to expect from Wetherspoon and this is no different. Great for beer choice and value. But just all a bit tacky and corporate.

It’s a Wetherspoons Bog standard food at rock bottom prices that simply cannot be beaten. Other places in town will charge you £6+ for a pint that you can get in here for half the price. Why go anywhere else?

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Cheap alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and really really decent cheap good that is delicious. Lots of seats inside and a small outside sitting area which is very present to sit in.
