The best restaurants in East Dorset South West

Chips were nice. Unfortunately they didn’t have any salad for burgers but still charged full price for them. The fish is very expensive and rather small for the price!

All the staffs there are so friendly and tends to any individual need graciously but not her. The following detail might look just like “A storm in a coffee cup” to you. I’m firmly believe that any successful business factors will always want to be ahead of the curve with the right customer services. I am always bringing my thermal cup for my favourite flat white. And I also knew that there will be a triple shot of coffee in it Which will making me a bit jittery hence I am always asking for a bit more hot milk on mine. Every bouts of my visit on this branch ,they all knows my favourite by heart, not even need to ask. On my visit today with this female staff, I specifically politely asked her the same manner of making. Theoretically speaking,I could be wrong from her training. Her foul response was ricocheting me with a lecture of how to make flat white ,plus she said she’ll be told off if she’s giving me more milk. I don’t mind to pay for extra drop of milk but she didn’t mention it. All she’s done was turn to be stern and rudely blank me by turning her back to me without any further rectification..The magnitude of her acts made me stunned and walked out. Few minutes passed, then I just can’t drink that coffee. I need to walk back into the shop again. I politely asked her for more milk again then she’s not only refuse to my need but also turn her back to me again by rallying the other staff next to her declaring her raucous victory over the customer!,, By asking the other staff whether her wrong or right! Talking about me within my earshot. If you can see from your cctv , she deliberately ignored me without rectifying nor mediating the incident. I am their very local and also been there nearly on a daily visit. Gobsmacking by being blatantly ignored and not being treated as a customer at all. In the end, I decided to walk out and stay away from this shoddy service. I just need to reassure you that I won’t be back to patronising any things from this Wimborne branch again.

I have been to seasons many of times but very disappointed to go for a walk in the evening get to the cafe around 4:45pm hoping to get a quick cake and drink and they had closed themselves up early. Online says open till 5pm.

We went as a family for dinner. As two of us are disabled, it was lovely to have the parking for disabled/staff the rear. We went to the bar to order and were told there was no chicken, except for wings. We all opted for burgers instead. Food arrived and on 2 meals the chips were cold. On telling the chap he came back immediately with hot chips. Not quite what we wanted but it was a welcome break on the way home.

Excellent food and the service was exceptional. Friendly atmosphere and good accessibility for those less mobile. Easy parking.

Great experience at this extremely friendly village pub. Fresh pleasant decor. Landlady, Landlord & staff all very welcoming and will stop to chat. Varied menu of decently cooked food served by charming staff. Delicious home cooked pie with very tender steak filling. Tasty plaice with leeks and broccoli. Would recommend. Dog friendly.

Went in for lunch over the Easter hols, lovely food. Very reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Really lovely lady who served us, very helpful and customer service was amazing. They have a small courtyard out the back if you want to sit outside and a pool table in a building out the back. Parking is also available to the rear of the pub. Would highly recommend.

We were travelling past, so stopped off for breakfast / brunch, and couldn't complaint about the "small" breakfast, great value, great quality, happy to go back and to recommend

Wouldn’t order from here got our order wrong they wanted us to collect it when we paid for delivery and the woman on the phone was extremely rude stay clear from here DO NOT ORDER GO TO ORIENTAL

Fantastic experience. Family friendly and staff super nice and helpful whilst we were trying to order for our hungry children. Food was very tasty and generous portions. Coffee delicious.

I highly recommend this lovely Country Pub in Cranborne in Dorset. Very professional and kind Staff. They did a grand job for us for my late fathers wake. Lovely food friendly Atmosphere. And a lovely comfy bed to relax in after a emotional day 😌.

Excellent food and lovely staff can thoroughly recommend. Went for the steak night excellent value. Lots of desserts to choose from but we were full after the main!

Just popped in no food but drinks

Sorry to say but our fish and chips and the curry sauce was horrible tonight have you change your cooking oil horrible taste and smell

Ordered via Uber eats, £7.50 for some awful mushy chips with Burger cheese. How on earth you call this cheese & chips I don't know! Won't be ordering from this fish and chips again. Everything seemed old & greasy. Not fresh at all.
