Took ages but the food is pretty good. I ordered a large meal of I think it was fried chicken, and then I just got a kids goujons portion which I ate but it was tiny and I ended up being hungry because I wasn’t bothered to wait another 25 minutes for my food. It’s decent so if your patient I suppose it’s good.

Took forever and was barely edible plus was mega expensive. Worst chunky chips I have ever tasted and sad leathery peice of undercooked fish. The food was mostly flavourless, burger was raw inside and kids chicken tenders were rock hard. Wouldn't have eaten it if we weren't so hungry with how long we waited. Would recommend bringing a picnic!

Took 20 mins to order with one person on the till and a further 30 mins for food to arrive. Beef Burger was not cooked through and chicken burger was inedible. £100 for two adults and two kids. Highly recommend bringing your own food to Moors Valley!

£7.50 for cheesy chips, £2.50 for a can of pepsi. This does not make the place particularly accessible to all.

Food was incredibly expensive for a nation who are currently struggling to find cheap days out for the troops. A cheese burger with chips was £16, and was tasty, however initially I had to send a search party in to find the burger patty as was so small, surrounded by an entire loaf of bread. Two adult meals, a child’s meal with three bottles of drink was £49. Not impressed at all and the child’s meal was full of stray strands of hair. Thumbs down and we will bring a picnic next time.

Very disappointing experience. Not sure if the staff are volunteers. Girl serving the coffee took ages (over 20 mins) and could do with some customer service training - no “thank you for waiting” while she took her time chatting to her male colleague). Sandwich was a bit stale as it was on its sell by date. Also very expensive - an absolute rip off. First and certainly last visit. Shame as the park is so lovely.

Sadly always been a great cafe. It’s becoming a a complete rip off. Over priced small potions and cakes. 4 coffee’s and 4 cakes best part of £30. Disgusting. Eaten a few times here previously over the last few years and have thought the food pretty decent in the past. Had chicken burger today and it’s definitely not as good as it used to be. Portion size was small and not worth 17 quid. Used to include coleslaw but this is now an optional extra at 3.50! I know there’s a cost of living crisis but come on, over 20 quid for small chips and burger. That’s obscene. The quality was not great either. Stingey wilted salad in the burger with no gherkin. What a let down!

We visited on the 20th December 2021 and were extremely disappointed. Having visited previously, and having had good experiences, we were looking forward to our visit. However this visit was not good. We ordered a scone each and tea. The scones were handed to us plain, with nothing else. When I queried this the girl gave me butter portions and one small pot of jam to share. This turned out to not be a problem as neither of us could eat our scones as they were dry and not at all tasty. We ended up leaving them. A shame as the tea was quite nice.

Stopped by for a mushroom bap and cup of tea. Seasons offer soya milk which is great but as for vegan food options, their menu is poor. A simple veggie sausage would have been perfect. As they had run out of mushrooms, we had a hash brown bap instead which was tasty. Our snack and drink was pretty pricy at £16. Come on Seasons, please include more vegan offerings on your menu!

Often busy, noisy cafe with a good, thoughtfully selected (local, veggie, etc) range of hot and cold food for families, dog walkers, cyclists, etc. In an attractive barn-like structure with stone slab floor and tables outside in good weather. Not cheap, especially if you are a family with small kids. So be warned: a cafe visit plus Moors Valley parking fees can cause serious damage to the pocket which is a bit of a shame because Moors Valley facilities are excellent and of interest to all.

Not a friendly cafe! Do not recommend at all!! moors valley is lovely but not the cafe at all!! We had to finish our hot meals in rush in cold winter wind because the stuff mean to keep the door in front of tables (which don’t supposed to be used)open for hours!! Today is -1 on the last day of November, it supposed to be nice when you have hot meal in a warm cafe, but not when their staffs keep use spare door and never shut it (it right in front of tables, don’t suppose to be used, it had a sign on it says ‘ please use another door’) we had to keep stand up and shut the door ourselves to keep everyone away from cold wind, what really surprise us is, one of their stuff, a big strange girl came to us and said ‘ please keep the door open all the time,I need to bring things outside all the time’ and walk away straight after her ‘speech’! I counted that she used that spare door 4 times in 30 mins to brought bottles outside near that spare door, in that reason, she didn’t bother to walk few steps more to use the proper main gate, but had to ask customer to keep spare door open to frozen all her customers and foods. We tried to understand her but it was to cold especially for young kids, so I spoke to her manager, the manger said the door don’t suppose to be used and she will keep it shut. Unfortunately, later on before we left we still catch cold because stuff used the door and keep it open. I don’t feel the cafe care about their customer, they only do things in the way make their life easier!! And the way they talk make you feel you did something wrong!! That’s what you get as that is the only cafe in the forest!! What a lovely experience in Christmas season!!

Visited on spare of moment for Sunday dinner. Awful just awful. Was seated at a broken table with 2 very young children, the whole top was completely loose, balanced on top and constantly moving an accident waiting to happen , how this was not spotted by staff is beyond me. Roast dinners were old and dry,, burnt parsnips and rubbery carrots, mac and cheese for our 1yr old resembled a dried up sponge and had to be sent back, could blame it on being busy but we was one of three tables that were seated, 10 people in total. Just terrible please don’t waste you money on this place, better off going down road to a fast food restaurant. Just shocking does not warrant the 1 star I had to give to get this posted.

Ate here as was staying at the local premier inn. Staff seemed friendly enough. Very basic menu (pretty much all fried). Food appeared to be plonked on the plate/bowl and served with no attention to presentation; no garnish of any kind. Child’s pasta dish was tiny; probably ok for a 3 or 4 year old; served in very small enamel dish. Overall, food was ok and it was convenient for our stay.
