The best restaurants in Cotswold South West

This was without a doubt the WORST experience I have ever had ordering food. The incorrect food was delivered to us 3 times, which took hours to arrive and came freezing cold. I had to call them about 6 times and every time spoke to a different person who didn’t know what was going on. I was very polite and understanding in the phone, but the staff speaking to me kept making out it was my fault for us not receiving the food. In the end we asked for a partial refund, as we had spent £150 on this order, and we were told they would not refund us anything despite the food being delivered incorrectly and freezing cold. Eventually we they said they would give us a refund if the food was returned, we said ok please collect and an hour later no one had arrived. We didn’t eat the food as we were waiting for them to collect it, so now we had no food and lost £150. Absolutely disgrace would never ever order from here again. The worst experience I have ever had as a customer. This is the only review I’ve written but had to express how utterly terrible it was. I would still like my money back.

Very tasty, but expensive but clearly cooked with love and service was superb. One small thing was cost of brunch was higher than I'd expect for meal size but still very good

Pretentious place. Staff don’t listen to requests, e.g. brought drink with ice when asked for no ice, brought dessert with clotted cream when asked for pouring cream. Food at best average.

Wish that I had read the reviews before eating here. Carvery was very poor quality. We both had beef - very cheap joint, tasteless and like chewing on leather. Don’t know how they managed it - but everything was tasteless and not hot. Service was ok - although not asked how the food was!

Absolutely stunning creative decor. Cinnamon roll and carrot cake to die for. The great coffee set is up for the day - highly recommended

Stopped off for lunch alone and had a toastie ( no salad or crisps ) a brownie, an iced latte and a can of coke. This came to £20. As a hospitality business owner myself I will always be the last one to complain about prices as I know how expensive running a business can be…. but that is ridiculous :( I would like to add the staff were friendly and the brownie was yummy, just a shame about that price tag.

We’ve had a wonderful birthday breakfast celebration in the Jolly Nice yurt. 30 friends brilliantly catered for. Beautiful surroundings, lovely food, professional and efficient staff, particularly Mandy who was generous, helpful and kind.

Decent bistro offering in the very pretty but very touristy Bibury. Staff are friendly and efficient. Large dining room and separate pub areas. I’ve scored at 4 out of fairness - but it is good rather than very good but better than average!

Had our dog with us so couldn't eat it so we ordered a takeaway. Quick service. Food was very good, we had the set meal. Lasted us over 2 nights. You got a lot for your money. Definitely worth a go.

Nice environment, food looked lovely. However all but one staff member looked like they would rather not be there. Food was disappointing, sandwich bread was rubbery, both ciabatta and baguette. The sandwich fillings were extremely salty. The baked potato was cold, the only good things from our group were the sausage roll and fries. Mint chocolate and coffees were decent.

I don’t usually leave reviews for places I’ve visited, however I felt the need to leave one. I visited coffee#1 on Thursday and was served by a young brunette girl , she was so lovely and so polite and welcoming. My cappuccino was so good , probably the best I’ve had in a while!! Deserves an award for her great customer service Will be coming back often!!

This is the first time we have been to the coach and horses and we were not disappointed! Although they were very busy we looked after very well. My daughter is very fussy but the staff had no difficulty to accommodate her needs. There was a bit of wait for the food but it was well worth it! The beef was cooked beautifully and came with lots of vegetables and cauliflower cheese! Will recommend to all our friends and we will be back soon! Thanks to all.

Nice outdoor seating and tasty coffee and cakes. Let down by strange service set up, we only ordered coffee and cake. The coffee arrived promptly but no sign of our cakes. When I asked, I was told by 2 members of staff just sat around that there were other orders ahead of mine. Why neither of them can be trusted to put 2 pre sliced cakes on plates is beyond me.

Never been so disappointed with a takeaway. Salt and chilli ribs were literally tiny, dry scraps. BBQ ribs were in a bland and tasteless sauce with no BBQ flavour to it. Husband had crispy beef which he said had a powdery texture. Chow mein was watery and bland. We love Chinese and have tried all the local ones. This was by far the worst. Don’t waste your money.
